From getting an initial estimate to the final install, working with Granite Source of Michigan was a great experience. The Office Manager, Maurice, took the rough measurements I brought and put them in their software. Then we walked through their no-frills showroom, looked at their selection of quartz slabs, and made a selection. They were able to generate a quote in seconds based on the material and measurements and ultimately it was right on target. They work with one supplier which allows them to offer more affordable pricing. There were no high pressure sales tactics or upselling, no fancy showroom. Just pleasant people who arent trying to take advantage. Every individual was communicative and timely. Install was completed less than two weeks from the date of sale. We are very happy with the outcome. The slabs were cut well and fit our counters perfectly. My only issue was that the installers had the farm sink in a little crooked and were about to caulk it in before I asked them to align it parallel to the counter edge.Contrasted from the usual ordeal of hiring and working with a contractor on a job of this magnitude, Granite Source was a refreshing experience and worthwhile investment.

Highly satisfied with the professionalism of this company. Maurice (office manager) was friendly, willing to work with me to find the best option for my project, and the price was very fair for a beautiful quartz countertop (about 15% cheaper than going with a big box store, and even cheaper than granite for a superior product in quartz). From entering the shop to a finished, installed product, it took exactly 2 weeks, which i think is very fast given the hot construction/renovation market right now. Truly professional experience.

We had a great experience at Granite Source. From our initial appointment, it was only 10 days for them to have the counters fully installed. Their team did a great job all the way around, from Maurice in the showroom to the measuring guy and the install team. They also dont charge for features that many people charge extra for. I came here because my father-in-law got his countertops here.My only gripe about the whole process was no one called to let me know on the installation date, I had to reach out to get an ETA on everything and no one called to let me know a time frame for the date of installation.Installation took about 2 hours for 55sqft of countertop.~~~UPDATE: removing stars because of below.I found a small hole in one of the side areas after inspecting it. I let them know of the hole and asked what could be done. They said someone could come out and fill it for me, but never confirmed a time.One day I got a phone call asking if anyone was home and that they were there to fill it. Not only did no one ask what time worked, but the worker was rude in saying “it would be nice if someone could let me in soon”.My husband and I both work 30-45min away and could not leave early like that especially around 2:30-3pm at the time of the call. Extremely irritated with the execution and follow up from these guys now.Please work on communicating better with your customers.Only keeping two stars for installation speed and overall appearance of the granite.

George and Maurice were wonderful to work with and they made the whole process incredibly easy!! They dealt with our need for perfection happily and willingly coming to the house several times to make sure we were all on the same page with our project plans and we never felt rushed or pressured!! I had the best experience with this company from beginning to end. Maurice was awesome and walked me through every step. I told him the color scheme I was looking for and the slab I picked out was beautiful. Maurice informed me that the way the granite is cut, it may come out too light or too dark for what I wanted. He helped me find another pattern that worked out great. The slab he helped me choose was less than the one I originally wanted and Maurice still told me the truth so I would be satisfied with my pick. I will be going back to them when I have my bathroom done. From the time I chose my slab to installation was only 2 weeks which worked out great!

Fantastic place for your stone. Our countertops look awesome. Great quality, price and customer service. Worked with Maurice and now I know where Im going next time I need granite or quartz. These guys came out and measured the countertops and had it installed the week after.

We hired this company to remodel my mothers home back in April 2020 and now Aug 2021 they are still not finished with the job. Since August 2020 we cant get ahold of them, all phone lines are always busy and our home was left partially done. We are in the process of filing a lawsuit against Granite Sources of Michigan Inc to get some money back to hire another company to finish their job. I wouldnt hire this company.

Wow are we happy! I did a lot of research on different companies and decided to use Granite Source in Southfield. They had the exact granite we were looking for to compliment the colors in our kitchen. When you select the perfect slab of granite a lot can go wrong after that, for example the measurements can be off so the slab is not cut to the right size and they try and fill gaps with caulk or the quality of the cut itslef is poor so you end up hating to look at your counters... and even with a perfect cut if you dont have skilled granite installers it can be a disaster. I worked with Maurice and he gave me the confidence I needed to move forward with the job. The edges were cut perfectly, the measurements were perfect, and the installers were truly expert at their craft and left nothing for me to do except enjoy our new granite. If youre in the market for granite save yourself from the agony and frustration of hours of research because I already did it for you.
