I called into the store to ask about DirecTV equipment that I sent back. I gave my reference number and Lillian was no assistance at all and her attitude was horrible. Glad there is more than 1 UPS store
They are unable to notarize I9 forms, despite confirming over the phone that they can. In addition, the old man will talk to you in a condescending manner about how he has all this experience notarizing I9s, but is unable to help because he is incompetent.
The staff here is always helpful, and make it easy to ship things out. Will always come here over USPS. Great customer service overall.

I dont know why the reviews for this location are so low. They are as fast as they can be, fully staffed every time Ive gone there, friendly, and patient. Ive witnessed very frustrating customers and have seen the staff deal with them with great patience. Ive gone to the Woodward location several times to see the line is out the door. I dont know why I bother.

This Store is a very nice visit among all the pack and ship type Stores. The staff in attentive, knowledgeable and very helpful if you do not know exactly what you are doing.Oh, I had a damage claim, but they jumped in and worked with the carrier to get me a refund for the damages to the package. All is good.I will shop and ship from here again.
Returned an item from ShopHQ who stated it was never received. Shaunice (sp?) was instrumental in helping me with the information to prove it was returned and received. I can now get the $170 refund Im due. She was very professional, courteous, personable and knowledgeable. Excellent customer sevice.
They charge you to tape the box. To tape a label to the box. They probably charge you to stand in line (always a long line)

Wow! You outta just throw your money in the trash and punch yourself in the gut. The owner is so rude.I’ve gone in here from time to time. I usually get a guy named Mory (he is amazing, always upbeat and energetic). He’s the only reason I did continue to go there. However the owner was so bad one day, not to me, but another customer, that I refuse to give him anymore money. The guy has no people skills, makes people feel unwelcome and talks to people like they’re stupid. He made this lady feel so little. I felt so bad for the person I walked out with my stuff and went to Royal Oak instead. What a jerk.
The Ups store in southfield mi has an employee named Jon. She is the absolute rudest person I have ever encountered. Jon constantly has something rude to say. I go in today and to return something to amazon. I didnt need anything at all except to show the return code. I left it in the box because I didnt need it trying to be nice. I was informed that I needed to pay $1.00 for tape. I told Jon that I was informed by Amazon that I only needed to return item. She told me I didnt know what I was talking about. If you return stuff you pay for tape. Every time I go in there she makes some rude comment like that. I will find another way to get items and never use UPS southfield again.

I had participated in an online auction via the DuMouchelles Auction House. Once I won, I coordinated shipping my products via The USP Store, 0053, at 19785 W 12 Mile Road, Southfield, MI 48076. Their personnel were awesome. I would use them again without question.
I purchased a piece of Tiffany glass on an auction, contacted the UPS store 0053 and my piece of glass arrived in a short amount of time and in perfect condition.
This store is TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. They lost one of my rims and tire. I filed a claim and they denied it with no reason why. So im just out of a BRAND NEW RIM and TIRE. The manager/owner of the store Keenan is so rude and wasnt any help. I will never ever go here again. I am also in the process of getting an attorney.

I wish I could give Zero stars. I ordered several pairs of boots and decided to have them sent to the store instead of my home. I get an email saying they were received at their store and then an hour and a1/2 later I received notice that I picked them up. Except that was impossible because I was at work. So I called the store and the person who answered the phone said they never received my order and that they did not have any package pickups that day. I did report the package as stolen with the main UPS and before they put it in their system as lost they called the store again. The young lady who answered claimed that the package was picked up. All I can tell is someone at the store stole my boots. #LIARS #theivesUpdate: Funny thing all of a sudden the package was tagged as refused by receiver and returned to JC the Penney. Smh
Did not contact me to tell me their printer was broken in spite of having left multiple contact options. Told me the printer was broken when I came back to pick up the order 24 hours later. Manager suggested I go to Kinkos, so I did.
Communications were excellent, and the package was excellent as well.
I only use this location to drop off return packages. It’s in, ask for receipt and leave. I’ve not had issues with attitude, missing packages or otherwise. Three star simply because of my limited dealings with this location.

I have used this UPS store on more than one occasion and have always found them to be prompt and efficient with their pick-ups and packing. They also give you shipping options that could save you money.
They charged me $1 for a piece of tape. When I asked him why are they charging me for tape they said thats how they run things and theyre independently-owned so theyre not like other stores obviously. Just save your time and go to FedEx or another store. This location in particular is the worst Ive ever been to and I was only in there for a total of 2 minutes.

Having just lugged in 5 huge boxes for my corporation, the man Maurie did not offer any help. When I got my paperwork out he looked and said it costs a dollar per a strip of tape. I walked out in the rain to get my tape and then he refused to wait on me and made his associate. This is the WORST privately owned UPS store I have ever been to! Should have used USPS or FED EX.

Close to home and moving out of state. Been here 4th time today. Dont know who owner is but staff is always unprofessional and rude. Sent my last box today. Have bad shoulder and called ahead to see if they could help with package. Rude on the phone employee said to come to door but when I got there I waited so long and they knew police cruise by and give tickets so I ended up carrying box in myself...man, is my shoulder ever killing me.
The online posting said it was open but it was not fully open. There was no employee there to help me ship my package. I do not recommend using this location.
The manager or owner is extremely rude and does not respect or appreciate the customers. He charges for everything, even taping up your packages and threatens to fire employees who dont abide by these ridiculous rules. I hope to never use this location ever again even for drop offs.

Be wary if you want ro make Amazon returns. My return was supposed to be a no cost print label at store transaction. They tried to charge me $3.00 to print the label!! I received major attitude from the clerk when i challenged the charge. I left store w/o making return and subsequntly called Amazon. Amazon customer service was great and arranged fora package pickup return. This is the third time Ive encountered unjustified costs at this location..including charges for tape! This store is close to my home but i will begin using a more customer oriented store near my work site instead.

Horrible customer service. Due to their error of writing the wrong shipping address, my package was mis-delivered and I was never notified. It wasnt until 10 days after I called someone told me this information. The package being considered lost as it was dropped off to the wrong address with no signature and never being to returned to the sender, the customer service rep sent a notice to the address to return the package to the sender. Under the impression it was obtained by the incorrect shipment address, a few days later, I called back to track the package, a different person answers, the manager named Maury. He gives a completely different report, stating the package was held due to the address being incorrect. He calls a UPS support number, records the correct address, and claims the package will be sent to the accurate address as originally intended. Im relieved and under the impression the package is safe and the intended route will be completed. After a few days, I call back for a third time to follow up on the package, a different person answers, the owner of this location and gives a completely different report that my package is unfound and may be lost. The owner accounts for the last update from the first caller, reporting the package is still lost and they hope to get it returned. The previous activity involving Maury was outside of standard procedure regarding mis-deliveries. The owner was very curt and apathetic to the situation. After receiving three different reports, I was confused about the situation and didnt know who to trust. Never go to this location. Not only were they negligent with the delivery process due to recording the incorrect shipping address, theyre clearly unorganized and due to the miscommunication among three employees, their manner of conducting business is unprofessional.
Horrible experience with this location, not only is the staff rude, but when I talk to the manager/owner, he was totally rude. I shipped 2 packages and one was on my porch the next day and of course, it is not their problem. And the word douche describing this owner of this location is an understatement. The nastiest and rudest store owner. We tried to send a package (Verizon prepaid label) and they lost it. We called and the worker said its the drivers fault. We called again to talk to the manager and the manager was not helpful at all and very dismissive. Even blamed us because we did not write the shipping address down. Why the heck do we need to write the shipping address down when it was a prepaid label by Verizon? No help at all. This store should be closed. Not a good image for UPS. We have to call Verizon to explain to them that the package was lost and UPS is incompetent.

You can mail items here through UPS or rent a mailbox. This is a bustling strip mall/parking lot.
This place is horrible, I was here last Friday and just because the young lady rang up the wrong price. Then her and another manager to argue with me the customer on basic math telling me 11+4=29 I explained its 15 but they decided to threaten me stating they would call the police. Well stay the hell away from these very unprofessional people here.

I rented a mailbox from this store and constantly had problems. Mail would arrive weeks late. On multiple occasions my mail was already open and taped back shut. Any time I asked the clerk for help they never had any idea or advice. Completely inconvenient!
Nothing was what I order. Size was not to size; one piece was a small came and was an x x large, another was a skirt that was nothing compared to pictur . I will never order from here again.
They work with Amazon to give the customer a good experience with package delivery.
