This is a group of the nicest, most compassionate women at this office. Dr. Awada is amazing and talented. Her bedside manner is great and she listens to your concerns and genuinely cares. I had a lift and augmentation done and the surgery went very well. Everyone was so patient and caring and I felt very comfortable and confident in the whole staff. The staff has to be the friendliest I have ever met. The office is clean, comfortable and beautiful. Meeting with the nurse and doctor can (for me anyway) be intimidating as this was my first time doing this. I have never felt more comfortable. They not only made me feel confident and beautiful they made me know I was making the right choices and didn’t try to “up sell” anything and in fact did the opposite. Dr Awada has done 3 surgeries for me over the last 2 decades, she is nothing short of amazing, kind, compassionate, and hard working. She was able to look at me and tell me exactly what I needed. She goes above and beyond to make sure that her patients are satisfied and comfortable. I can’t give her a big enough review. From the first day I walked in wanting larger breasts, to another decade later needing a mommy make over, I have been nothing short of amazed. I have referred a lot of my own patients to her clinic for procedures because she does such a phenomenal job. Her clinic is very comfortable, quiet, relaxing, and everyone that works on staff there is equally as kind and understanding.

From the scheduling staff, to my consultation provider, everyone was so comforting and pleasant. The consultation started a little bit late, but they told me right away that my appointment was going to delayed and why. I was happy to wait, and Im happy I did. Do not have surgery with Dr Awada. I ended up in the hospital with a punctured lung and blood clots in my lungs. The pulmonologist said she cut too deep and cut my LUNG! She never came to see me at the hospital. Didn’t check up on me. When u came to the office she never came to the room to see me. I asked for my money back and was ignored. I still have issues with my lung..They even rushed me out of recovery at her office surgical center. I wasn’t even awake when they put me in the car and told them multiple time I wasn’t awake and was having trouble breathing.HORRIBLE experience Dr awada is rude and a hack!

My experience at this establishment has been nothing but pleasant. After calling to schedule an appointment, I had the pleasure of speaking with Nassrine. She was very informative and knowledgeable regarding all of this services I had questions about. She was able to help me narrow down what facial she thought seemed right for my skin and I have to say I was highly impressed. When I got to my appointment, the staff was adamant on having me seen promptly. This was something I noticed because usually anywhere you go, you wait at least 15-20 minutes before being seen. Overall, the staff was extremely helpful and my entire experience was blissful! I highly recommend and will definitely be going back!

Best breast surgeon! I’m OBSESSED with my breast enhancement & knew from my first consultation that Dr. Awada was “the one” (after 4 other consults with other surgeons!) I had surgery this year (2021) and I still can’t believe they are mine! My breasts look very natural, and finally fill out a cute bathing suit top 👙I love my new body!

I came to this office just to have a consultation done. One of the patients waiting in the lobby mentioned she has been waiting over 2 hours to see the doctor, which obviously got my attention. No way did I want to wait that long to see the doctor. I called to explain how myself and others were concerned with how long this woman had been waiting. One of the patient coordinators came out and began arguing with all of patients that were in the lobby. The way she was talking to us was so unprofessional! They require a deposit to even see the doctor so many of us had money invested to even have this appointment. They are here to service us! They need to learn to have better time management, and to treat their patients with respect and courtesy! They did refund my money however it was by far one of the worst, most unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had a doctor’s office!

I had Dr. Miriam Awada put implants in about three weeks ago and she is Amazing!!! She listened to what I wanted, and she told me exactly what she needed to do to make it perfect for me. I am so happy I chose Dr.Awada. It was the best decision ever! My results after healing for three weeks are better then I ever could of dreamed of. My confidence is through the roof. I Just received a pigment treatment from Emily and it was the best experience!! Not only did she take her time and talk to me and explained everything to me and gave me her expert opinion, she was so caring and compassionate. The treatment itself did not hurt at all! She had another tech come in and blow cold air on my face as she used the laser and I felt zero pain. I have had a treatment in the past that made me squirm and made my face feel like it was on fire but todays experience was the complete opposite. I will definitely be going back and seeing her again! For anyone that is considering any laser treatments I would highly recommend her!

Just NO NO. Not enough room here to say it all. After 2 visits and $3200 of not getting what I went for( I found another great Cosmetic Surgeon that listens, gives great results and is not over priced) if anyone needs a referral. I waited 3 hours at my first visit and my second visit 2 others were called in before me when I checked in first. JBS... I called about another procedure and was told they would call me back 😒 they never did... Two and DONE ✔

Run.absolutely awful staff, surgical skill, bedside manner and she was really aggressive when examining me post surgery to the point of bringing me to tears when I brought up how unhappy I was with her surgical work at every appointment following my surgery, including the final appointment almost 2 years post surgery. she bruised me from grabbing my hanging stomach skin (after her surgery) so hard when I told her I was unhappy that the skin wasn’t tighten as agreed going into the surgery. please go anywhere else to try to achieve the results you desire.

This is such a friendly and welcoming environment. I loved the doctor and everyone there. Melissa and Raquel helped me overcome my nervousness and for the first time ever, I took a nap before my surgery. My wife just had a breast augmentation surgery with Dr. Mariam Awada. It is something she has always wanted to do. I supported her decision but I did a lot of research on my own to find the best plastic surgeon in Michigan. We are both selective. Dr. Awada is a Dream come True!Before seeing Dr. Awada I had a consultation with another doctor and it went horribly. He rushed through it and ended up telling me I could only get a very small implant, due to lack of breast tissue . My experience with Dr. Awada was completely different! She knew exactly what she was talking about and took a lot of time explaining the differences between my breasts and what we needed to do to get the results I wanted. She could tell that my breastmilk had come in differently and that my son had a favorite side. My fiancé and I were very very impressed with how detailed and nitpicky she was. Before our consultation my fiancé was still nervous about the procedure, after we left he said he wished he was a woman so he could have her do his breasts. The procedure itself went very smoothly everybody is very nice and made sure I was comfortable. I have had plenty of postop appointments and Dr. Awada is always very nice and makes sure she answers all my questions and concerns. I am three months postop and unfortunately my areolas stretched way more than we expected. But Dr. Awada said she will take care of it and fix it once they are done healing. It’s not her fault they stretched but yet she is still willing to fix them and make them better. Then as an added bonus, today when I went in for my postop appointment she gave me a facial for my birthday that’s coming up. I will always recommend Dr. Awada and will definitely be back if I decide to have any other procedures. She knows what she is doing, is so nice herself, has an amazing staff, and I’m so happy I found her!

I had the most amazing experience with Donatela, the esthetician. Ive gotten Hydrafracials from her, but I got my very first profractional laser treatment and it was wonderful. She is very genuine, professional, and friendly. She gave me a whole skincare consultation and analysis, and we addressed all my concerns and the best treatment options. My skin has changed drastically, I get tons of compliments, and I am finally confident enough to go out without makeup. I have referred many friends and family to her, and say she is a Skin God.

The staff was so respectful, made me feel so comfortable, and were SO knowledgeable about everything. I spoke with Aubrey and she took her time with me, she was patient, answered all of my questions, she was transparent about everything, and super professional. I am using an alias so I cannot be associated with my real name email and plastic surgery.I was left with fibroids on my stomach from a harsh/uneven/overdone liposuction. Also, Either I was punctured during surgery, or it’s from when the nurse pulled out my drain, but I felt a tear in my abdomen and she said not to worry.. 2-3 years later and there is still a lump on my lower stomach that I’ve been trying to get diagnosed what is wrong, I’m thinking it tore my muscle or lining (hernia) because every time I eat it bulges out. This has ruined my body and I regret going here. Dr. Awada also left some pretty large scars where she cut open. I’ve been to another plastic surgeon to inquire about things, and was told I shouldn’t of been as numb as I was after surgery either. All my nerve endings were shot and I couldn’t feel my body for a long time. I guess you get what you pay for.

BEWARE BEWARE! I’m telling everyone who reads this to Beware, Beware!! Dr. Mariam Awada is like a wreck, a train wreck. She’s all over the place, mood swings, trance-like episodes, and a complete lack of concern or care for her surgical patients. For these, and probably other, reasons much more disturbing, she is incapable of performing surgery in a skilled fashion, something is wrong with her! I saw odd cuts on her body, it was bizarre, they appeared to be deliberate. I asked her about them and she ignored me. That should have been my signal to stop and not proceed but I put my gut feeling and fears aside and let her do my surgery. I am ruined for life, on every level, physically, medically, and emotionally... If you go to her to look better, be advised, you will be tortured in the process, and when she’s finished with you, you’ll look like death warmed over, and feel like it too!

They were very patient and helpful with every concern or question i had! Very excited for my procedure!

Getting laser treatment and PRP treatment by Veronica for a scar on my nose - I am loving this friendly personality of hers and the confidence she is thriving for me. With my extra stem cell plasma she is doing my facial wrinkles as well and I am soooo grateful! I am so thankful to have found this place of Dr. Awada’s practice. The plastic surgeon from UoFM that worked on my scar had me in tears that there was nothing else to be done for the closure of my scar. Finding this place has been such a saving grace.

Beware! The outcome of my surgery by this “doctor” has been nerve damage, removal of fascia, surgical burns, seromas, scarring, contour irregularities, and extensive disfigurement. It has been almost 1-1/2 years since the initial surgery and Im still having her botched work corrected. This has been a long torturous journey. I deeply regret choosing to trust her with my well-being. She was a terrible choice as a surgeon, from her evidently incompetent surgical skills, lack of caring, outright lies, weird remarks, attempted intimidation, less than gentle handling of my physical being, and falsification of medical records. She made no appearance during my first three post-operative appointments. It took 2 months to receive medical records. It was evident that they had been cleansed of references to pain or contour irregularities. My advice is to avoid Doctor Awada. Find a REAL cosmetic surgeon who is truly committed to providing you with an excellent outcome and professional care!***This is in answer to Response from the owner below:If you read the review, does it sound like I have been feeling physically “well” since the surgery that Awada performed? Also, why would I call YOU? During my final appointment with Awada, she certainly was not interested in addressing, let alone rectifying, any issues or concerns. Instead, her only interest was in denying any responsibility for the poorly executed and sloppy surgery she performed on me. She did not care about my physical well-being. She did not care about the terrible results of her incompetent surgery. She acted as though I was an annoyance and, instead, chose to lie. She again tried to convince me that I simply had less muscle and bone on one side than the other. In reality, she knew the liposuction was uneven and far too aggressive, especially on the left side. As I told her at the time, FOUR other cosmetic surgeons that I had consulted with face-to-face had witnessed and confirmed the damage that she had done. Her parting words to me as she pushed her office manager, Debbie, out the door were: “Oh, great. Well maybe one of THEM can help you …”And, indeed, one of “them” has helped me to a great extent. However, we are still not quite finished and I’m aware that some things will simply remain “unfixable”.I now know of many other women to whom she has done great harm. Some of them were offered money to remove or retract negative reviews, etc. Is THAT why you think I should call your office? I believe it is more important to warn other women of her incompetence, unprofessionalism, and lack of caring than it is to receive financial satisfaction. She is doing harm.

Her vision was amazing and I can see her vision coming to life as each day passes of my healing process!Ghadeer -the person who helped me through the entire process- was AMAZING! She was always there for all my texts and calls with all my questions/concerns all throughout leading up to my surgery! She made me feel so comfortable about my decision and treated me not only as a patient, but a friend!!The nurse who prepped me for surgery and who was with me the entire time was Incredible! She was so so kind and truly took great care of me and made sure I was okay the whole time leading up to surgery and in recovery!The anesthesiologist Was so sweet! She made sure I was comfortable and made sure all my questions were answered before being put under!If I could give them 500 stars out of 5 I would! I had so much anxiety leading up to my surgery wondering if I was making the right choice or if I should have gotten more consultations before making a decision, and I’m writing this to say- I am unbelievably happy with my choice and would choose this office/doctor a milllllion times again!! Thank you to Dr Awada and to the whole staff for helping fall in love with myself all over again!!! 😊😊😊

Dr. Awada herself is a great surgeon and Im happy with how my surgery was done and handled. Post-operatively the laser treatments have been going well and the support staff is friendly and great. However, when it comes to communication regarding appointment times and adjustments, this office is horrible. They have some of the worst communication skills Ive ever experienced with a professional business. I have had multiple appointments adjusted or altered without knowing. Their confirmation text messaging system has sent me 3 different appointment times for 1 appointment before my surgery. I have also had an appointment flat out cancelled, and would have shown up to it anyway, had it not been for me calling to double check on yet another MISCOMMUNICATION on the appointment time. No one calls you to let you know of the adjustments or changes. I even received a confirmation text for the appointment 5 days prior. To reiterate, the surgeon and staff are nice people, but they have wasted too much of my time for me to recommend them for any procedure that requires extensive follow-up. They appear to be some of the most un-organized and non synchronized staff Ive ever experienced in a doctors office.

Omg! I love everything about Dr. Mariam Awada and staff. I remember smiling and laughing at my first visit, well my smiles got bigger and I’m laughing a lot more because of honesty and great work!! I’m very happy that I chose Dr.Awada! I had BBL, lipo arms, back thighs and stomach and I’m very pleased with outcome! Hey I hear so many going to Miami for plastic surgery stop because Dr. Awada is the best right here in Michigan!!

I absolutely had a wonderful experience. Sarah answered all my questions before and during the procedure. She set expectations for recovery over the duration of the next few weeks. If I need any more assistance with my image I’ll be sure to use them! I definitely recommend.

Update: I guess I shouldn’t be surprised by their obtuse response below. An auto reply that makes it appear as though they care when in fact they clearly don’t. They know who I am, unless several other people walked out today after telling them they were tired of waiting. They’re “response” - I should call them to set up a meeting to discuss. Seriously, you mean they couldn’t show me the courtesy of a phone call. How about a simple apology. No, that would be too much to ask. Instead, let’s send a canned response and put the onus back on the client. Way to keep it world class.Showed up 10 minutes early for a consult. Waited 40 minutes and not a word from anyone. They could have called beforehand and said they were running late or they could have said something while I was there. Sadly, that must be too much to ask.

Love the people so polite and attentive .. Sometimes you have to wait a little more but its worth it.

The staff here is very helpful and kind to me! I got 2 surgeries here and I could not be any happier. They did everything I asked and even included a lot in my post-op appointments that was extra and above what I paid for. I love Dr. Awada she was very eager to help me with the requests I personally wanted & her staff is amazing! Shoutout to Ghadeer, Audrey & everyone else that has helped me on their wonderful staff! If you’re hesitant, go with Dr. Awada! I’m only 2 weeks post-op and I’m already back on my feet! Love my results even in this short time. Give them a call and schedule a consultation!

My life matters, she almost ended it, and Im not the only one! Shes a toxic cocktail of.recklessly wanton incompetence topped off with a fire alarm red cherry of narcissistic megalomaniac behavior resulting in harm to patients. She lacks good moral character and PREYS on women. She rids herself of the damaged patients, when theyre at their very lowest, hurt, in pain, damaged, weak from her bad surgery, and desperate, by refunding some of their money after a they sign a release of liability and are forced to never disclose any of their personal stories.... She pays them off when she hurts them! Turn her in, report her to the State of Michigan Licensing and Regulation if she hurt you too! She must be stopped and shut down permanently!

Dr. Awada took a lot of time and care in her consultation to explain my options and answer all my questions. She was kind and genuine and made me feel very comfortable. She showed me different size and types of implants and discussed which ones were a good fit for my body and why. She also talked to me about the results and what to expect, which I think was very important in helping me have realistic expectations of the outcome. My surgery and recovery went really well and her follow up care was great. The staff was always so personable, and treated me very well. My results are by far the best part of the whole experience. My scars are so minimal and my breasts look amazing. Whenever I go out I get tons of compliments!

Dr Mariam Awada never saw me after surgery - she hurt me terribly, I’m living in a nightmare caused by her horrible surgical techniques and her complete lack of aftercare. I wish I could say she had a bad day and I was “it”, sadly, not seeing her patients after surgery is her MO - not a mistake, not oversight, not unusual, it’s the norm at her office. Please be careful if you’re a patient, be very careful! If you haven’t been there I suggest you never go!! Do not believe all the positive reviews - something fishy about them - why do a slew of positive reviews go up after a negative review is posted, hummmm? I wish I could forgive her or even forget about her - impossible - every time I look in the mirror I’m reminded, every time I move the pain stabs me, my life will never be the same. I love this office. I must say I feel at home when I come here. The office is very welcoming and elegant. Employees treat you with respect and you don’t feel like you are just a customer. You are able to do any kind of treatment from head to toe here. They offer surgical and nonsurgical procedure. I don’t have time for the downtime so I’ve done coolsculpting myself and love my results. I look my best at 45 and my husband even started coming for treatments (brown spots), and he got his eyes done here and had great amazing results. Dr. Mariam is funny and takes her time with you before and after your procedure. She doesn’t leave the room until all your questions are answered. The medical assistant is very friendly and nice. You will defiantly regret not coming here because you won’t be treated that way anywhere else. Ask for a discount they are always willing to help with the price and bring down the price to a reasonable amount

Contacting them regarding some facial scars. Was told very optimistic results from the lazer treatment which was actually an online special. Had a consolation on a Friday. Waited 2 hours for the call and nothing. When I called to say the appointment had come and gone and no call, they contected me go someone who tried to sell me a $2000 treatment without and consultation. Where the original was gonna be $700. Place is a fraud

I just wanted a consult for a breast lift.I paid an outstanding (apparently non-refundable) $125 for it, so I was expecting it to be worth my while. They scheduled me initially a week out, and then a few days prior had to call me to reschedule as apparently whomever I spoke to put me in for a time slot they didnt actually have available.Okay, whatever.So my rescheduled virtual consult was supposed to be at 5 pm yesterday. 10 minutes after 5 I still hadnt gotten a call, so I call to the office. The girl at the counter says shes SO sorry and meant to call earlier to tell me that Dr. Awada was running behind and would call me within the hour.Well guess what she didnt do. I had to waste my time and move plans around while waiting by my phone for her to call, and she never did. At 6:15 pm I just gave up. Nobody even called me to apologize either!This morning i asked for my money to be refunded and they did without question, leading me to believe this happens often.Shortly after I called and got my refund, they called me back to say that the reason Dr. Awada didnt call me was because she needed to obtain a medical history from me before proceeding? If she needed that from me - and needs it from other people who want consults - then it should be included in the paperwork they email you, or at least ask you about it on the phone while youre making the appointment.This place is very unorganized, unprofessional, and just disrespectful of peoples time. And this was just for a consultation! I cant even fathom what going forward with a surgery would be like...

Horrible place, horrible doctor, horrible staff, and horrible results! Just take all the negative reports from other patient reviews and that’s my story too, total lack of care for me as a human being by Awada and her gaggle of. “girls”. To add insult to injury, my medical records were falsified, damaging statements about me, not one bit of truth, she just added fuel to the fire by attempting to cover up the truth about her horrendous treatment to me. Left me in serious medical condition and I was forced to find another surgeon as I was so sick and could no longer take Awada’s abuse. My new doctor needed my medical records, Awada’s girls strung me along for over 90 days, and finally they sent these completely self serving and obviously falsified records. Here’s the best part, they didn’t know I actually tape recorded my visits and those recordings are going to prove she falsified my records. I reported her to State of Michigan physician licensing, they are investigating her, she will be exposed for everything she did to me. I hope she is shut down forever, I hope she can’t ever hurt anyone else, I hope she would just do the right thing but she can’t, something is wrong with her, her behavior is not normal - can’t even remember the surgery she performed on me! If you are a patient I suggest you ask for a copy of your medical record every time you go there - all my other doctors automatically hand me copies when I check out of their office - why does Awada withhold medical records? Answer is obvious, gives her time to falsify them and if they’re really lucky the patient might give up and never follow up with the request... Not this patient, I’ll never give up, I’ll do whatever I can to make sure she is brought before a panel of her peers to be charged for her neglect to me and others as well! Please do your homework and really investigate her before you let her touch you....

I got a breast augmentation about 2 years ago here. For a while I wasnt sure if they were the size I had asked for and sometimes one would hurt. But now they feel perfectly fine and they look and feel totally natural. Most people dont even know I have had surgery at all. She did such an amazing job on the incision you can barely even see the scar. I am so happy I made the decision to go to Dr. Awada and I would definitely return to her again in the future.

Cherice has always been the one to handle me and everything was literally PERFECT. Then she left the service change Immediately! My appointment was for 2pm I got there at 140 and was left waiting for 40 minutes 220pm I was then approached and whom ever the woman was didnt take me to the back to start my treatment being that she was already late she wanted to sit and go over my payment history. I told her I use groupon and she didnt understand how I was able to use it.... I told her I had a an appointment so could we go along with the treatment being that my visit was already paid for. She didnt comply and said I shouldnt been able to use the groupon. Worst service I wont be returning even tho I paid for 3 visits.

I came here for two sessions with the Icon laser, and I’m loving my results so far. My experience with Brittany and Karen has been above and beyond. They both are very knowledgeable in what they do and the results show. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get professional cosmetic work done.
