Love this place. Everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable. Really like being able to go to a physical place and checking out stuff.
These people are great they seem to know my brother who I was with they always seem to make me feel like Im a star love you guys
Great speakers. If u like blue tooth speakers around 300.00 is what i spent... Sounds great & pleanty of POWER . so dont be fooled for them other corner stores the power cant match these..😁
Great place they have everything you need. despite their name they have stuff for everyone, bassist, drummers, keyboardists and more. You can play instruments there and their customer service is great they have experts that can answer your questions. They will help you out when you need it. A great place for musicians. and people looking to becoming a player.
Went to get my strings for my guitar done. The sales rep. who helped me was very knowledgeful and friendly, and did an awesome job! Will definitely recommend this store!
Friendly staff and a good selection. Definitely makes people that are new to musical instruments feel welcome.
Markilli in drums was absolutely amazing they bought back my Roland electric drum set and tama rock star set for top dollar. I highly recommend coming here to buy, trade or sell gear. Darius and Dave in pro audio are the best as well!
Tried to do business in the drum department because brick & mortar stores are struggling they say. Twice I went in, 3 times I called, ZERO follow up so I spent $1600 for new drums, cases, heads, sticks at Sweetwater. Hell, they gave me candy and a Sweetwater & Vic Firth tshirts. Some assembly required, but that gave me a chance to check the fit finish and tighness of the nuts and bolts.
They will give you a fair price for your used gear. Ive only really dealt with the pro audio dept but there are a few really good employees that know their stuff.
Guitar center is dope. You can have a good time there just enjoying the vibe, play an instrument, or take lessons. If I never need something related to music or audio they typically will have what I need.
Very nice store. The staff was knowledgeable. The only thing I could see was the needed more cases
Very cool place, nice helpful people and alot of products to look at. Anything you need is there, whether youre just beginning or a seasoned professional. These guys really know what theyre doing and are willing to answer any and all questions you may have. Im just getting started in the guitar world and I asked a few rookie questions and the guy never one time made me feel stupid. I highly recommend checking this place out for sure.
I was recently in the market for a new guitar and i am really glad i came here to get one !! i think their selection is pretty good and the space they house all the instruments in is super spacious so you have a lot of room to kind of do your thing :) i will say the employees will kind of bother you a bit if you dont come to them for help immediately or if youre just there to look, but they mean well :) in the picture, thats the guitar i ended up buying and she sounds like a dream
Dedicated parking in a small, busy strip mall on a major highway. Lots of inventory for guitars, keyboards, sound equipment, accessories, etc. Staff seemed a little overwhelmed, even though I visited early in the day. Ordering on their site is an option or you can place an order in-store for home delivery. Knowledgeable staff. They will buy your (in-demand) equipment on consignment.
Brendan and Andrew were awesome to work with. Very knowledgeable, patient and helpful. My husband got a new Martin guitar and my son is thrilled with his first ukulele. Thanks guys!
Given that there’s no quality stores in my area, I drive a little farther out of my way to shop here. Every time it has been a great experience. Good prices, friendly workers and a pretty large selection to look at.
Picked up this midi controller while traveling thru town. Its a perfect addition to my travel recording studio. Cant wait to try it out. This GC store is really clean and well organized and the staff is plenty and always asking if they can help you with anything. I live in L.A. and the GCs there dont compare. Thanks guys!
Awful customer service. I’d been coming to this location for the past 24 years. No more. Non-existent drum staff, just 3 customers playing drums as loud as possible in the room. No one is present to answer questions I had regarding inventory that was shown to be in stock on the website. When I’m finally ready to pay by the guitars with a line of customers having appeared behind me, none of the three by the register employees could be bothered to end their conversation to ring me up. They lost a $70 sale. Might not be much to them but I’ll happily take my money elsewhere.
Employees are all really nice, not pushy or overbearing at all, place is clean, great selection.
My Taylor 12 string was repaired here and they did a phenomenal job. I never personally set foot in the store, as the Guitar Center closer to me took it over there for the repairs and brought it back, but Ill for sure bring any guitar I need work/adjustments done on here in the future! A+ job.
Friendly and knowledgeable employees for all your musical interests
Had a great experience picking out a new edrum kit, the associate that helped me out (Chad) was really friendly and helped with a bunch of questions that I had about different specifications. Overall the associates here are friendly and knowledgeable no matter what questions I have
Selection is horrible. Out of nearly everything high end. Website shows item so I drive all the way out there and none in store
I really appreciated salesperson Andrew. Very professional, friendly and helpful. Thank you for a great shopping experience!
My visit was friendly and informative a lot of drum sets on sale for different brands.
Very helpful staff. Cool place!
Good service, great people Andrew in guitars is awesome so helpful 👍👍
They redid my acoustic guitar action in D tuning. The guitar tech was really knowledgeable and completed the work in a day for me. The guitar plays excellent and I am very happy with it. Also, they were very accommodating doing everything curbside for me during the pandemic.
Good work I trust them
Had a gentleman named Andrew help me out with guitar stuff. Hes a great dude! Amazingly helpful and extremely friendly, definitely made me happy to be there and was very thorough.
I came here to purchase a Guitar for my sister. Staff was excellent! Even though shell be a beginner looking forward to her taking classes here to learn to play... Ill update later shes taking the guitar lessons and Im taking the piano lessons 😁
I went to buy some new DJ gear that Ive always wanted to pick up. The staff where very helpful and made tbe whole experience very memorable.
Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very professional and you can tell they love music. Great selection for any musical taste.
They are always so helpful in teaching their students how to play the guitar its a blessing that they have so much patience and we appreciate it thank you so much.
If you love guitars and accessories you will love this store
Great store slow in asking customer if they need help
The worker helped me with my item and explained some technical issue I was having with some other equipment. Very pleased and I will be back.
Service was great. I went in looking for recording / workstation / software solutions and was directed to a better and less expensive.
Awesome 👌staff! Very helpful and I enjoyed how the staff related to one another.
The only reason I give this store this rating is, It used to be so great to go to guitar center back in the day but now, they have nothing really to offer. The store is a ghost town. I hope whoever owns this chain gets it back to its maiden glory. Its a sad place now.. Hurts my heart to see it like this.
Had them service a guitar, bought equipment, always had good service and reasonable prices.
Great customer service from Andrew in Pro Audio!!
I love this Guitar Center! They guys are always so nice and helpful
I bought my first guitar ever from this location. All I knew when I went in was that I wanted an acoustic and a decent quality guitar, and I also needed some technical help in making an informed decision. Im regretful to say that the salesman could not answer a single question (substantively) and could not make any useful recommendations or provide information that helped guide my decision. Second, he sells me a hard case that he says fits perfect but actually it fits just barely (noticed after I got home and upon closer inspection). Finally I buy a strap and the guitar is missing a knob at one end. I love the guitar and strap so thats my 3-stars, I am considering a return however.
Darius is the best person to speak to about audio needs.
Nick was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products
They have a nice selection of Fender Strats.
Really nice store & pleasant staff
Professional service and awesome gear lobe it!
Smart and knowledged employees
We found the things we need and more. Always a good experience
Employees helpful and patient with noodling customers. Fine selection of everything musical, and super convenient for picking up online orders (for instance: I ordered a great used bass last spring through the GC site, and pickup was easy at this location, and am still happy with the way the instrument arrived as described, and ready to play)
This branch looks well stocked. Friendly staff. I ended up buying a new Yamaha accoustic-electric guitar.
The people working here are helpful for the most part, although its hit and miss on their product knowledge. Over the years theyve been reducing inventory on the things Im interested in, primarily bass gear and pro audio. Before COVID they had just setup a mic test station, which was cool, but I totally know why its off limits now. The company is in dire straits and it shows, especially at this location. It bums me out because they have some decent people working there, and I dont want to see them close down or lose their jobs. That said, the past few times Ive been there they either didnt have what I was looking for in stock, or they hadnt even heard of the item. I have found some great deals on used gear there, and Ill continue shopping for that stuff, but I probably wont make it down there as much as I used to until COVID is over.
Staff was friendly enough, the guitar hangers were pretty beat up compared to other gc in the area.
They have what I need and always helpful and friendly
Every one was so helpful and funny.. I had a great time and got my daughter an acoustic guitar and EVERYTHING else she needed
Jesse restrung and reset the string height on my 40+ year old Epiphone acoustic and it sounds AMAZING. Did it in one business day, too, and for a reasonable price. I love this place and will definitely go back when needed!
You can find everything music related here. Albeit a little expensive but the helpful staff more than makes up for the difference.
A bit disappointed. I asked if my power cord and manual were in the box and they assured me it was. When I got home neither was there.
I order instruments online. They did curbside pickup. I didnt have to get out which was a plus.
Went in last weekend to check out Gibsons with a potential for purchase. Found that all the Gibson guitars are locked to the wall in a small room, there’s about 6-7 of them total so not a huge selection. Went in the room, looked around for 10-15 minutes, walked around the guitar area, never once was approached by an employee, didn’t get to test out the guitars I was interested in (LP classic) and ended up leaving. If I can’t test out the guitar I’m interested in locally, I’ll just shop reverb.
Got my girlfriend a fender uke and she loves it great staff they were busy when we went but they gave us a tuner and we found one that sounded just right! Knowledgeable staff and a two or three year replacement plan for 50 or 60$ can’t beat it! We will definitely be back for our next musical instrument!
Darius and Nick went searching for a product..they returned singing a tune.Dave, Shonna and Justin all cracked up..the party was over too soon!...Ill go back just to say hello and wish them a great holiday...cuz a team like thatIs hard to come byWhere work is fun..everyday!
Got everything you need
Knowledgeable staff. They were patient with a newbie in the guitar world.
Nice store with great staff. The parking sucks.
Custom service is out of this world. They are awesome
More empty walls. enough gear to spend a few hours if you like. $$
Sold me a used tube amp that worked for like 3 days lol
I would be surprised if guitar center still exists in 5 years.Been a shopper here since the 90s. Its not the same anymore.
Workers were extremely friendly amd ready to help out with what I needed. Very friendly to new players
Awesome staff and great place, Andrew was the best at helping with all our needs.
Great helpful staff I love coming here great people always giving Top Notch service
I always went to this location but the last time I was here was 5 months ago... Always liked this guitar center more then the Roseville location and also the Flint location
I like guitar center, been going there since 99. Gone though are the days of dealing on the price, or maybe throwing in a free book or strings..Staff also doesnt seem as knowledgeable for some reason either. Not trying to be an a** just giving an honest review.I used to love gc back in the day, Id spend hours on the weekends, Just playing guitars, drums, ect. And talking to staff! Made some good friends. Now its frowned upon to jam in the drum department.. And the selection of (in store) amps has become a joke..Its more of whats hot now.. Its becoming more disappointing as the days pass..But I do still go there for a few things. Mostly to get something used Ive ordered from another store location..But for most my purchases now I go to motor city guitar.. Great selection of drums, amps, cabs, and guitars..And a lot of custom stuff also!Like I said, I do like gc.. But its definitely not like it was..
Great customer service!
The staff is knowledgable and if one is unsure, then they will point you to another member who can assist.
Ive been coming here for years! Great sales reps! For whatever sound gear you need!
Nice and knowledgeable people and it is a huge showroom. A lot of gear on display and you can demo some of it too.
Very helpful and knowledgeable.
LOVE THIS LOCATION! Tons of selection, extra knowledgeable staff in no short supply, Loud, proud, & open for rockstar biz.
Awesome place! So much to see and they were very helpful.
This branch of Guitar Center is great. Dont let the small front fool you, this store is deep and stacked with instruments. Quality personnel that can get you a quick answer, and quick service so that you can get out and to the next gig.
Very helpful knew exactly what I needed
The service is amazing just maybe not enough. Had to wait quite a while for service but, the service was great when it showed up. Andrew L. was of great help. Beautiful store.
One of the best places to go for musical equipment they carry everything from drums to gutiars to the accessories.
They only allow a few people in at a time due to covid restrictions and I am totally fine with that. The amount of customers vs. the amount of employees was about the same, so when I went in to buy a guitar, I half expected to be annoyed by sales people constantly asking if I needed help. Lo and behold, after 15 minutes of browsing, I had seen all their guitar department had to offer (not much), and still hadnt been helped by a sales associate. I was the only person on the sales floor for most of that time. I went in with the idea of buying a nice American made Strat but walked out after 15 minutes of being ignored. Instead, Ill spend that money supporting my local guitar store, which I should have just done from the beginning. Although it costs a bit more, local privately owned guitar stores should always be your first choice and Im an idiot for forgetting that.
Really cool location. Awesome high end section for their guitars and amplifiers.
Wasnt too crowded customers and employees followed all restriction hand sanitizer was available. Went in did my business and got out quickly. Guitar tech was knowledgeable and helpful
Usually I am so impressed with this store but this time they disappointed me. They say that they will take used musical gear on trade in but they failed to tell you it must be in nearly perfect condition. Used gear rarely is. Go to Music Go Round in Troy! The staff there are great and very helpful and offer top dollar!
Never been to guitar center
They only let a few people in at a time now due to COVID19 but Im cool with that. Its for everyone safety. Only thing is staff is low too so knowledge is hit or miss some days. I will be glad when we can get back to life like we knew it. I like to ask questions. They also had limited stock on pro audio equipment and thats is so not like them and not helpful when shopping. Still love the store bit COVID19 is affecting how we shop and how they do business.
Cool place
Great customer service. They dont trying to upsell you on things you dont need. They make sure whatever you do buy is a good fit. I appreciate how they dont put any pressure and really give you the time to try things out...
Received a gift of guitar strings but they were the wrong gage. I went to GC to exchange and they refused to help me without a receipt. Will never step foot in this store again. No wonder they filed for bankruptcy!
Murphy was great! Helped find everything I needed, provided options on warranties, and (best of all) with no pressure. No need to shop anywhere else.
