We came to this dealership close to closing time to look for a lease and Ivan Dunlap, one of the sales reps, assisted us. He went above and beyond and was transparent, straightforward and respectful. No added salesman fuss which is totally appreciated and not easy to find. Refreshing not to be sold a bunch of nonsense or back and forth.The other managers and financial reps also stayed over to help with the deal and have been direct and easy to deal with as far as communication goes. He isnt pushy and doesnt pressure you at all, he just listens to what you want and answers your questions directly. Had to get my oil changed and such this morning and Sam in the service department was phenomenal to say the least. Engaging, friendly, knowledgable, and right on top of the ball. Giving genuine attention to every question I raised, I could tell he actually cared which was more than refreshing. I couldn’t have left feeling more satisfied, and I mean that. 10/10 experience.
I took my Honda civic there for a loud muffler and was told that it needed a new exhaust system at 840 bucks, I went to another repair shop and was showed when my car was hoisted up that my exhaust system was fine, all that was needed was two pipes replaced on the exhaust system at a cost of only 280 bucks, they repaired the two pipes on the exhaust system and the car sounds great, I will never go to genthe Honda ever again would you?
The staff are all excellent and courteous. While the process did take extra time due to circumstances outside of their control, they all remained polite and professional. In the end we are still very happy we chose Genthe and will do so again when my husband is ready to get in a new truck.
Took my Honda Accord in for an oil change and tire & break inspection and was told, I had zero brake pads on the front and it would cost $520.00 to repair, well, that didn’t fly with me (my breaks we’re stopping and no squeaking)Took my car to another auto clinic and was told there was absolutely nothing wrong with my breaks. I know not to ever trust this dealer ever again. I assume they thought they could easily rip off an elder lady. NOT SO! You deserve less than 1 star.

My husband purchased a used vehicle here in the last month and we have had it in the shop for longer than hes driven it. Before purchasing, he pointed out some concerns and the salesman assured they would give the vehicle a once-over on the mechanics before he signed the contract and paid. Immediately upon getting the cat home, he started having problems. The dealership agreed to cover up to $1000 of the cost for repairs; however, the repair job they paid for did not solve the issue and the car spent roughly another week at a shop. This car was supposed to be a reliable family car for us and our daughters, except now he isnt comfortable driving it even the two miles to work. This car clearly had issues that were undisclosed at the time of the purchase.

Go see Ivan Dunlap. He really helped us with our lease purchase. You wont feel pressured when working with him. We had a different Honda dealership try taking advantage of us by adding features we didnt ask for. They even tried billing us for taxes on the full MSRP of the vehicle for a lease. You are only required to pay taxes on your monthly payments and down payment when leasing. This was for a Honda factory advertised promo. We wouldnt be fooled. Needless to say we left. Called Ivan at Genthe and explained what had happened. He was more than helpful. This was our third Honda lease through Genthe. Highly recommend them. Especially Ivan.

I have never had a better experience at a dealership than at Genthe Honda. Was I happy with cost, work needing to be done, problems along the way, no. Yet, Keon and Ben both made sure to be honest, understanding and fair when it came to what was best, for both me, the customer as well as for the dealership. That is all I would expect, not a handout, not skimming to cut a deal, honesty. If you are looking for that, go to Genthe Honda. Not to mention, Keon was particular supportive by communicating when he said he would, and providing what I thought to be above and beyond customer service. He always made it a point to pay attention to the customer in front of him and I respected that. My Honda vehicle needed lots of attention and was in their hands for a few weeks and I never once felt like I was on the back burner. Will definitely make this my dealership for any Honda needs. Steve in the body and service dept is the ONLY PERSON WHO CARES. I called to get service done on my accord. Ivan in sales answered “yo” and continued to be extremely unprofessional. I bought my car without even paying a payment. And thats how they treat a loyal customer. I wanted 10k+ in service and add on parts and that experience blew it sky high. Traded in my car and got a 2011 honda with 23k miles on it i couldnt believe my eyes,beautiful car dealt with Bradley hes new and young but went above and beyond to make sure I was happy.Genthe is where you want to get a used car from, fair, honest, super clean and low mile cars great selection from what I saw, i drove all the way from toledo very satisfied customer.By the way my tire light was on when I test drove the vehicle they brought it into the service department and it ended up being the tire sensor and fixed for free since they knew I was from Ohio five star service.

I set out with the intentions of getting a new car and found myself at Genthe. What a great decision! Tez was my salesman and honest and reasonable are two words that only just begin to describe him! I goofed and mentioned my trade in and what I needed to get in order to pay my loan off and even with that information they didnt offer me exactly that number, but instead offered me quite a bit more! That honesty and professionalism is exactly what made me leave with a car! Keep up the excellent work, and, while I wont see you guys for regular maintenance or repairs, I will absolutely be referring this dealer to any of my friends and family in need of a car!

Well now if I could I would give them a zero review. As soon as my oil change package is done I will never return to Honda for anything n if they ask you to call them about your review dont bother cuz you wont get a call back. Im sorry I bought a Honda but I will say there is a gentleman in the service department that is awesome I wish I knew his name.
Everyone is nice enough, but the inventory on their website does NOT represent what is on the floor. If you call first they will mis-represent their inventory. Even after texting the sales manager before driving 40 miles I was disappointed. Finally, they advertise their Honda 4 wheelers for $500+ less than other local dealers. Its because they hide their delivery fees. Youll end up paying as much or more than the other local dealers once they trap you into coming in. I tried to buy some simple parts, but that had to be ordered too. Id rather spend my money somewhere else.

One of the worst sales team I ever seen in the world. Found online a 2015 Toyota Prius at $8989, contacted through email Genthes representative and was after sever messages was offered a price of $9600. Being non-US resident and living in Europe I contacted a reseller company to organize car purchase and delivery to Europe. Companys representatives contacted Genthe Honda and Surprise... sales agent who proposed me $9600 said she dont have the power to decide the final price and she will contact the manager. After that she dissapeared for couple of days, and return with the new price $8888. We agreed to this price too and sent documents scans to prepare all the papers. No answer for another couple of days, we started to call them, they promissed to get back in couple of minutes and never got back. I called them personally and after being transfered to four different persons from Genthe Honda I was yold that the car is being sold to somebody else. I cheked online platforms and the car was stil advertised there. I asked my another contact from the US to call them and to ask about the car and he agreed and was told by Genthe Honda that the car is still available. Reseller Companys representatives called them right after that and again the anser is car is not for sale. Very disapointed.

Good morningThe service Manager were contacted directly from America Honda so the shop can comply with a extended warranty Honda provided to Customers with pealing paint issues. After two weeks of waiting for the service manager to provide an estimate, he stated that they did not had the tool to comply with the request - But is a collision shop- He did not wanted to tell me which tool he was missing.
If you’re going in to buy a vehicle go see Olivia. My girlfriend and I have had a few hiccups since purchasing our vehicle and she has been nothing short of amazing. Olivia goes above and beyond to say the least and I am very pleased with our experience thus far.Edit: I’m dropping this down to two stars because the purchasing process was pleasant but we are still experiencing issues in the service department six months later. This is my third purchased used vehicle from a dealership and I’ve never had so many issues with trying to get a vehicle fixed. Don’t spend your money here if you’re looking for a used vehicle especially if you plan on buying their warranties because they don’t cover anything. Make sure you read what you’re signing up for and don’t listen to what the salesperson is saying. These warranties do not cover everything they say they do.
The best experience i can say i have had at a dealership in decades! Tiffany Resch was welcoming, caring, proactive, and was totally invested in making sure my experience was 10/10. I felt like a part of the family after just a few minutes. She was honest about the cars and at no time made me feel pressured in any way. I will go back to her to buy another car.

They don’t have a clue as to the definition of customer service. My wife’s lease ended in May, 2020. She leased the vehicle from Genthe, but they would not take the vehicle at the end of the lease term “unless she leased another vehicle from them”. She was forced to find a dealer who would take her vehicle. She found a Honda dealer, Dunning Honda in Ferndale, who gladly took her lease turn in. I don’t think we’ll ever lease or purchase another Honda, but if we do, it won’t be from Genthe..

Horrible experience! I have a check in hand attempting to purchase a vehicle cash after having an agreed sale price only to be lied to about the car being sold to someone thats not even present. I count it a blessing. However, this is the worst and by far weirdest experience ever when attempting to purchase a vehicle. I wouldnt recommend this dealership.

We worked with Katherine to buy a used 2014 Town and Country. She was very friendly and easy to talk with we did not feel pressured to buy. Whenever we had any questions she worked hard to get them answered. The team worked past closing time to make sure we walked out of there with our mini van. These folks are the ones you want to work with if you are looking for a used vehicle.**UPDATE**Check engine light came on a few days after buying. The code is P420 for a bad catalytic converter. I am almost for certain this was known by the dealership and they chose just to delete the code. The code will show up after 50+ miles. Running diagnostics the cat looks in pretty bad shape likes its been wearing out for a while. When purchasing the vehicle their documents did not disclose this information. Now I must replace either one OR BOTH catalytic converters which for the parts themselves run $200+ each! Luckily this is a job I am willing to tackle because this can run easily 1k+ if a repair shop did the work. Shady business done by the service department.I will still stand by the sales team as they did excellent work but do be warned.
Had a motor replaced in my accord the same week I was leaving for Florida. The job was fished 3 days before I had to leave since I was driving there. Mike and the mechanic provided the most professional service I could ever ask. No issues at all with the dealership. They are very friendly and make you feel welcome. I will keep coming back as long as I have my Accord.
Went in for regular oil maintenance, found I needed air and cabin filters. Replaced immediately and at a reasonable cost. Stopped to see my salesman and he showed me how to program my voice dialing. Always have friendly and helpful visits. Ive leased 6 vehicles from them and will probably lease another soon.
Lot of cars in their inventory to test drive. My Salesperson, Ryan, asked a lot of questions, attempt figure me out and then select cars as close to what he believed I wanted. Ryan did a good of figuring me out and what I wanted and with respect to my monthly payments. Every employee I talk to or made eye contact with acknowledged me and asked if I was being helped and most offered to bring me drink. Need a Honda? They did a battery test on my CRV said it was good. Battery still has issues. Took it to Suburban Honda who did a battery test and it comes out bad. Not going back here...
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!I bought a vehicle from them.Then over the next couple days after purchasing the vehicle started having many problems. Its going to cost thousands of dollars to repair. I contacted the dealer and they were not willing to help.

Al hall the manager of this place is very rude and did not help us out. They are fraud, they sold us an car and didn’t even let us test drive and assured us that the car is perfect and if there’s any problem come back. The night we came back the car would not start and battery would not charge and they took the whole day to check and assured us they checked everything and told us the car is good and we came back noticed the cars oil was leaking and we took the car back, they wouldn’t check it or touch the car threatened to call the police and behaved really badly. I do not recommend this place very bad. There is no zero to rate I’d give this place a zero.

Ok so my wife came in for the Honda lease. We both bought cars at Genthe Chevy at 1 time when we were desperate to get a loan. I tried to get into a lease a few years later at Genthe Chevy and they werent very helpful. They left me to sit for over and hour and I never heard from them the next month or any month after when the specials were gonna hit. I am thru with the Genthe brand, they really just like to over charge for cars and get you into high interest loans. Sorry we went back.I came in looking to lease a Honda. I didnt know much if anything about the brand, the features, or why Hondas were good cars. I left not knowing anything except what an Accord looks like on the inside and that its a vehicle and was in my price range. I just felt uncomfortable, and like I wasnt really wanted I just was left to sit by myself for almost my entire visit. This is a lot closer to my house I wish they would of done a little better but Id never want to walk back in here :( Id rather drive 45 minutes and feel like Im a customer instead of I suppose a burden. Im really in love with the Civic I got from the other dealership! IT DRIVES ITSELF! Hondas are great cars this place just didnt tell me that or why....

I stopped by after work without an appointment. They took my car right in and said it would be serviced after the car ahead of me. They said probably 45 min. so I walked to a restaurant. Came back after 35 min. and the job was done. The gentleman I spoke with was pleasant and helpful.

A few weeks ago, my father and I went to go look at cars, with the hopes of purchasing one obviously. We had went to other dealerships, and hoped Genthe Honda could offer us a lower price. We went in, and asked for the price of the lowest deal weve gotten, and their manager, Al, had accused of us wanting to steal the car due to our outrageous price. I understand the price was low, but another dealership had offered it to us so it wasnt like it was impossible to do. Al had made rather rude and snide comments about how we had to be tax exempt to get the car. My father had referred to one of the sales people as your boy, and Al had berated us for that as well. He made us feel like children, and we felt clearly unwelcomed. The next day, we went to buy our car at Victory Honda in Monroe, where we felt more welcomed and were treated way better.Overall, I will NEVER give this place my business ever again.
I ran in just before 5p on a Friday because my car was making a noise and I had to drive to Traverse City the next day. While they didnt have time to look at it that evening, the service department test drove it in the morning, determined it was a wheel bearing, repaired it under warranty and I was on the road by noon! Fantastic service!
Did not have to wait long, and very nice people that work there.
I called them several days before I traveled to see one of their vehicles, they said they would call back if anything happened with it. I called the morning of and they claimed they were in a meeting, that they would call me back. No call back. Finally got a hold of someone before I had finished my 5 hour drive to find out they sold it. Not cool.
