This place has LITERALLY everything Anime and skating related its mind boggling. The best skate shop Ive ever been to hands down.

Some of my favorite figures are from this store. Im so happy I found this place. I love the women that work here. They are always very helpful, professional, and personable to the point where I always end up buying something upon each visit to support the business. I was in the area just yesterday and only wanted to check out their inventory. Of course I leave with roller skates and laces soon after. The person manning the store at the time was so honest and helpful, asking the right questions to me and everyone else who was also trying on roller skates. I wish I knew about this store sooner.

This is a cool little place. It covers my son, who loves skateboarding and my niece, who loves anime! If youre into either, I would definitely recommend checking it out.

Excellent place. Only store in the whole state with 2x2 roller skates as far as I can tell. Staff is amazingly helpful. Clean environment. They will try to get you good deals, no upselling. Go here to buy stuff, its good.

I personally come here for the action figures, but holy cow is there a plethora of stuff to choose from, if you like animals shirts or skate boards or even movies and Manga, definitely come here.

My favorite local anime stop! Excellent quality products, a fantastic variety of snacks and very intelligent staff. These ladies really know their stuff from all things weeby to derby! The japanease snacks are my favorite thing, and I can always find a good selection of goodies! 💙💙💙

Great place got what you need for skateboards roller skates and ofcourse anime. I recall when this business first sprung up in wyandotte downtown in a very small hard to locate storefront loved it it was only anime at that time 99 ish then the skateboard boom happened and they stocked up on hookups skateboards which ofcourse was due to the hentai illustrations that singular mive blew them up happen they still exist

Neither my partner or I are skaters, so we cant really rate the skateboard aspect of the store. However, we are pretty big fans of anime and manga. We did some browsing around the store, and the prices are awesome!... But these products arent authentic. At least, a lot of them arent. A lot of the plushies have an off look to them, and dont have any authenticity tags on them. A lot of the pillows, wall scrolls, and some of the clothing either have stolen art on them or arent official products. There are some pretty cool cosplay selections, such as Danganronpa, Sailor Moon, Inuyasha, Studio Ghibli, Dragon Ball, etc. They also have some neat snacks and drinks. Overall, we might visit again if we are in the area, but we probably wont go out of our way to visit. My partner and I did buy some plushies that were authentic, a Puar plushie and 4-star Dragon Ball plushie. They were cheaper than they would be on Amazon, and Ive wanted the Puar for a while, so we are happy about that! 2 stars regardless for the skateboarding aspect, and one star for the anime aspect, for a total of three stars.

Purchasing from a store with a “no refund” policy was not the greatest decision. I didn’t notice until I got home, unfortunately. I tried returning the item that I no longer needed within the 24h that I had purchased it(wrong type of purchase). Mind you, I mentioned that the product had never even left my car, and it was still in its original wrapping. After deciding to return it, I am now stuck with a store credit for a store I do not wish to purchase anything from. Their advice: you can always call us ahead of time to see if we have something you like. I’m embarrassed to go back in, but it seems like that’s what I’ll have to do in hopes to find what I need eventually(within the next year, according to my store credit).

I called on the phone and spoke with Jill. I inquired about skates, she was very friendly and helpful over the phone. I went straight to the store after my call and Jill was there to help me. She was very friendly, informative and helpful. She was the only sales person there helping everyone in the store, and gave each customer attention and care. Jill was the best! She even put the toe guards on my skates for me. I will definitely shop there again - especially because my first experience there was so awesome thanks to Jill!

Non corporate store great place to get pop figures and skateboards and various other anime items

I went in there to size out a pair of quad skates, Ive never wore a pair before that I can remeber. The lady was SUPER helpful and knowledgable to where I did walk out with a new pair of skates and wheels. Now the journey for me to learn how to roller skate begins!

DO NOT PURCHASE ITEMS FROM THIS STORE UNLESS YOU KNOW 100% THAT YOULL BE SATISFIED WITH THE PRODUCT AND KEEPING IT! These People only offer store credit, absolutely under no conditions do they take returns, even if youve owned the the item for less than 24hrs they dont care.Dont bother asking for help looking for a board either. Theyll tell you to feel free to look or feel free to try it out with the plastic on. We kept asking questions about bearings, material of, and quality and we kept getting the same response as if they were scripted. Maybe theyre clueless about the items they sell, unless its the anime Figurines, they really tried to push that sale on us.Make sure you read the negative reviews on this store before going there. Chances are it will happen to you.

Went for roller skates, decent selection.hard to find stores with roller skates in stock. Didnt know skates could be so pricey. Staff nice, knowledgeable about brands and quality. Wanted beginner/casual skates. 1 star taken off because I was very specific about the style I wanted and she (staff) went to clearance section bringing out style I wasnt interested in. When I politely told her, I didnt like that style she was pushy about me trying on those for fit. Seems to be that since shes into Derby she pushes to sell speed skates. But I would recommend this place with a warning

My fav place to go! 💗 They are always welcoming, they are one of the only places that have rollerskates and accessories and skateboards and accessories, they have anime dvds, figurines, accessories, and Japanese drinks and candy and masks! We just bought sailor moon kitties, some masks, and Pocky last time we went. They also get a skating group together on Wednesdays after close. Ask them about it if interested. 💗

Let me tell you about a magical roller skate purchasing experience.1. Had a vague idea of what I wanted.2. Was prepared to spend a whole paycheck.3. Needed all of the guidance.Dame is an angel. Listen. All I told her was I hate my current skates, I need a tall boot, and Im prepared to spend a bazzilion dollars because I have saved all my pennies for this very moment.Keeping in mind my preference for suede and tall boots, she directed me to lower priced skates she had experience with and even had on her personal list of future purchases. Slowly we worked up in price. I swear she must have pulled out 7 different skates. None of which worked for my weird feet and wobbly ankle, until, the One. It was great. Amazing. Everything I could have hoped for. I told her, sell me on one more before I buy this one. Theres nothing wrong with it, it might be perfect, I just want to make sure these are the ones. She seemed a little apprehensive because she was about to sell me on a high end boot, as she described it. I put it on and nearly cried.Bliss. Pure bliss. Like putting my foot into a marshmallow. Turns out, she skates in the same skates. She even gave me hers to try on and see what 3 years of roller derby wear do to these skates. They are still in amazing shape. This was the most intimate of customer service experiences. She let me try her skates on. Who does that?!Dame, Anime, thanks. Im thrilled about these skates. I doubt Id be this happy about the birth of my own children.

While I cant personally speak for the skating inventory this unassuming little storefront holds some of the best selection of Anime merchandise weve found in the area. My kids and I have shopped here for most of their lives and I highly recommend this great little specialty shoppe!

I had such a nice experience at this store. I was getting back into skating after several years away and was in need of a helmet and some wrist guards. I was assisted by a very kind and patient person who took a lot of time to explain to me the different aspects of each piece of equipment I had questions about. And their prices are very fair. This is a cool local business the downriver community should be really proud of.

I used to go to this store all the time as a kid and as an adult its still just as fun. Its always well stocked, clean, and the staff are friendly every time.

Very knowledgeable in her craft. From the helpful insight to the pricing couldn’t of asked for a better experience. Will definitely be returning for all my skate needs.

Im a derby skater, and I use Anime to Skateboards for EVERYTHING. Recently, I bought new skates there, and they let me customize everything so that theyre perfect. Jen and Meg are both so knowledgeable and friendly, and make sure I know the ins and outs of whatever Im buying before I leave the store. They are my one-stop-shop for everything skate-related, and sometimes I pop in there without even knowing what I need and they always deliver. Im so glad theyve moved into a bigger space, and hope they continue to grow.

I love this store. The ladies there are always very nice and helpful. The anime and manga selection is very good. A lot of anime figurines, plushies, shirts and hoodies. Even a little bit of cosplay stuff. If you want skateshoes at a good price they have them in clearence in the far back by the hoodies,wall scroll posters, lanyards. They also have Japanese imported snacks and drinks if youre interested in that as well. Even some rollar derby stuff. Skateboards and longboards plus whatever accessories you need like wheels and trucks.

Nice store, although i bought a miku senbonzakura nendoroid and it turned out to be a bootleg, so i am kinda upset about that lol

Love this place. Its a great idea too. Most skaters like anime and alot of anime fans are skaters. If I get into roller derby Ill make sure to get all my supplies here but for now Ill stick to all the anime merch I can get my hands on
