Did not feel I was going to be screwed over . Helped me Purchase my first 14k Gold Rope Chain. And I was unbelievably pleased with the shop itself and the very laid back atmosphere did not feel bombarded as soon as i walked in. 14k Jewelry & Exchange Southgate is a fantastic establishment. The staff is both knowledgeable and friendly, not to mention they pay TOP DOLLAR for the item I brought in. I knew nothing about my item and Tony helped me find the true value of it. He also encouraged me to shop around for better prices, and I did. But no place even came near what he offered me for the item. An overall GREAT experience and I will 100% be coming back in the future!!

This place is awful they prey on people who are in a tuff spot I took an old gold coin to them they offered me 100 dollars went to another shop they told me it was vintage and offered me 800 I probably could have gotten more but 100 and 800 was a big difference. I went in last thursday looking for a tv i seen on the website for the location. Today was the second time I went to this shop, to get a second opinion on jewelry I wanted to sell. Both times I was offered almost double what another pawn shop down the street offered me. Went with a friend to sell a few higher end items. The gentleman we were dealing with was extremely honest, explained how everything worked and even gave his opinion on where to go to get a better price. Didnt end up selling anything but his honesty and expertise sure helped.

My experience was pretty damn good tbh. Highly recommend this shop because they definitely fall into the more moral section of the pawn shop spectrum. Why? well typically 14k pawn pays 40% of a gift card. I bought my JCPenny gift card in, and since it was my first experience in the shop, the owners brother, sorry man i dont know your name, gave me some extra cash for being a newbie. So it was serendipitous experience and i appreciated that.
