I would not recommend buying anything from ANY Ace Hardware. If you do buy something from them, you can not return it to any other store besides the one you bought it from. Even with original receipt and item being unused. There are plenty of other stores that are nationwide and dont have this very idiotic policy.

Its sad to hear the negative reviews of this place! I walked in for my first ever visit yesterday and was nothing but pleased! The employees were super helpful and got me what i needed. I came in just to look at smokers and ended up leaving with one! They answered my questions and helped me get it loaded.

This is my go-to location when I need the best products and helpful advice. The team at this location is amazing, and they know their stuff. Skip the big box stores and go here. You wont regret it.

I was told my son couldn’t buy something first because “he’s not a person” and then “he’s not a paying customer” I would like to know at what age you are considered “a paying customer”. He has his own money and can pay for it and the project is for him. I was allowed to buy one, he was not.I don’t think I would be as frustrated if the cashier was kinder, but she was not friendly and very rude.I will not be visiting this ace hardware again

Near a Lowes and a Harbor Freight and a Walmart Supercenter and yet still often the only place I can quickly find what I need.

Gotta love ace it’s the place of the helpful hardware people. Friendly staff and all the good I need for most home repairs. And I was here this time to get a screen door replaced. Never knew they could repair and old beat up screen but hey they can

Awesome place to go to avoid to crowds at the big hardware stores. Surprisingly have a lot of stock for projects and everyone working seems friendly. Definitely a go to for quick parts and nice atmosphere without all the people.

I was super disappointed in the service I received here and will try to absolutely avoid this place if at all possible. I try to shop local to support smaller businesses, but when I tried to replace the faulty product I received when it broke after just over a months use the manager rudely refused stating that had I brought it in a few days prior then it wouldve been fine. The return policy is only 30 days. Lowes has a 90 day return policy, so Ill haply pay extra and shop at Lowes. You lost a customer for $7.

Great local hardware store! I try and get things as offer from here as I can to support local businesses, they might be a few dollars or so more than say like the Home Depot but I don’t have to drive an additional 15 miles to get what I need. Oh and they usually have some of the odd things Home Depot doesn’t have. I was looking for a shallow electrical box or even a low voltage cut out which they had both, as I said I’m sure the depot might have had these for maybe a dollar cheaper but it saved me the time driving all the way there to check. The staff here is very friendly and helpful too!

Had no issues store was stocked would give 5 stars but had no 3 gang Decora toggle switch mix plates.

My wife bought me a staple gun for Father’s Day this year and it’s been sitting in my garage ever since.We started finishing our basement a few weeks ago so I broke it out to use it. I didn’t have any staples so I came to Ace Hardware to buy some staples for the gun.I got home and put the staples in but nothing happened. So of course I got on YouTube to make sure I was doing everything correctly.When I figured out I had loaded everything right I called the store and told them what was going on.They told me to bring in the staple gun so they could take a look at it but told me that because it was bought five months ago they wouldn’t be able to return it.I got there and the front desk employee started helping me. (I wish I could remember his name because he was AWESOME!)After a few minutes of him tinkering with the staple gun he realized it wasn’t the staples but it was a staple gun. So he said they would exchange it for a new one.Thank you so much Ace for that great customer experience!!!

Great hardware store for Spanish Fork. Has most everything that you would need. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Think twice about buying anything at the Spanish Fork Ace Hardware. I purchased two patio chairs from them, but once home realized they were broken at the time of purchase. A few days later I went to return the items, but they wouldnt refunded me my money even though I had the receipt. They would only give me store credit. They claimed that I couldnt prove that the items were broken when purchased. The employee was rude and their return policy is unfair.

This is a surprising store. You wouldnt think it from the outside but the store is actually quite large with an incredible selection inside. While most Ace hardware stores are somewhat more expensive than some of the other large home improvement stores their selection of odd items and very helpful staff definitely make it worthwhile.

I’m always impressed with the staff at both SpFk and Provo. They know their store and they don’t let me waste time finding my way around! :0)

Its been a long time since ive gone into an ACE hardware store. For the most part ive gone to the big giant stores like the home depot and Lowes, but both of those bigger hardware stores didnt have what i needed to finish the job I was working on at home. But the small yet fully stocked friendly and helpful staff store had exactly what i was needing. Im starting to think that i dont always heve to go to (the grown ups equivalent of a kids toy store) those giant stores to get a few item that may or may not be in stock, when I can drive a shorter distance to a place that so far has the items I need and more.

Do not shop here. They do not value customers lives and therefore they do not value our business. Its very disappointing to see the irresponsibility with not one employee wearing any masks in the middle of a health criss pandemic. The cashier started coughing all over my items. Their carelessness could get someone killed. They are violating mask requirements. I will never shop there again. Lowes, Costco, and online retailers have better prices and care about their customers safety. I will spend my hard earn money where my life and business is valued.UPDATE: I wanted to respond to the managers response. I came in contact with employees 3 times, each time they approached me less then 6 feet apart with no masks. They are clearly not following the mandates. The following statement is on the Utah County Health Department website businesses should ensure employees and patrons are wearing a face covering in their establishment. Employees should handle the face covering requirement just like they handle other health requirements and public-decency expectations in their establishments, such as “No shirt, no shoes, no service.” I will not be coming in to discuss this as I do not want to enter an unsafe environment that will put myself and familys life at risk. I will be shopping at safer environments here in Spanish Fork such as Lowes, Costco, Walmart. I have Asthma and a damaged lung and I use a mask around my customers and co-workers all day without issues. Regardless of managements excuses for their negligence in not keeping the public safe, I no longer feel safe shopping there and will I never return. I will not support businesses that do not put their customers safety first before personal views. I will spread the word so that others that value their life and the lifes of their family will know not to shop here.

Dont bother, ordered parts online, drove 40 min down to location after confirmation that my order was ready. When I got there they couldnt find my order, then wondered around for 20 min looking and then proceeded to tell me that my order was never pulled and they dont even have the part I paid for. Said they would try to refund me and ut would take a few days... clearly they have not figured out the order online pickup in store process. I contacted customer support and they were no help. Better off ordering from somewhere else. Wasted a bunch of time 😒

Our family has always used Ace hardware, they have a small town business feel which makes it really personal when needing help or advice from professionals. Zach specifically went above and beyond and helping me diagnose some nuts and bolts and other things that I had to solve, but he was extremely helpful and everyone was super friendly on the team. Recommend this place a lot!

$60 for a mid quality SAE/Metric Allen wrench set with no other options? Wow, dont know if its just this location but, Ive never seen other ACEs so overpriced.

Never has what I need. All the other surrounding stores do...but never spanish fork

Easy to get in, find the things I need (Particularly bolts, nuts, screws, etc.) and check out and get on my way. I have saved probably close to $200-250 by buying my bolts here and not getting the same thing for double or more the price at an auto parts store. Hardware is good quality and very well priced with tons of variety, just about any metric or standard and some specialty pieces. The team has always been very professional and knowledgeable and always ready to help when needed.

Great place for those hard to find screws! They have a very large selection of screws, fasteners, nuts and bolts. Go the the very back of the store and turn left.

I have to admit that it is a rare experience to be treated so well in a hardware store but the folks at the Spanish Fork Ace Hardware are truly exceptional. I will be there often as they really seem to care.

This store has brought back a level of service that has been lost to society. There prompted service and knowledge of the store makes this store an easy pick for me. I recently perched a grill from this location thy took the time to assemble and personally delivered it to my house at no extra cost. I definitely recommend this store!

Not the biggest and they dont carry everything, but it is great to have a local Ace to quickly run in and get the odds and ends for small around the house projects

I have been in to grab a few things here and there, the staff is always very helpful and attentive. The store has tons of products and everything I have ever needed. Their loose bolts and hardware selection is awesome, I was looking for an o-ring that was pretty specific, they had one for about a dollar compared to $7 online, plus shipping.

And had helpful and knowledge staff. Would give them a 5, but they didnt have the size of bolts I needed, and could only suggest to order a ton, or try a different store. At least they saved me a lot of time by finding out where they should be and that they dont carry them.

Its hard to recommend places like this due to the insane markup pricing. I almost bought a weed whacker here but found out its literally half the price at Walmart. Most things are cheaper online or at Home Depot. BUT, one thing this place does have is convenience. If you live in Spanish Fork, its easy to stop by and get help looking for a tool or special screw size. Be smart, but support this place when its reasonably possible.

I have been going to this Ace Hardware location since it opened, and they have always been great. Today though they exceeded my expectations when helping me program my car key (and get an extra) and then some. Mike (the assistant Manager) was excellent and very helpful. I love this location and all their staff have always been awesome!

Very nice. They are always happy and joke around but help everyone even if it is to send me to another store if they dont have it. They generally know the store to go to if they dont have it. Amazing mechanic Devin and Charles.

Beware chain saw owners. Dropped my older Craftsman saw off for tunup and any repair needed last spring. Many excuses, went in to see the trouble, explained that I needed my saw to take down a tree, deadline for completion came and past. Bought a new saw there because needed something. They kept on assuring me they were waiting for parts and that the part was on order. It has been over a year now. Still waiting for the he promised repair. They have not called me on the status after many calls and promises. They still have my saw. Not happy. Even after this bad review that I left a long time ago, no call, no response by the company. Now thats customer service at its worst ☹️

Great that Spanish Fork finally has a hardware store with a good selection. The hardware/nut/bolt bins are great! Watch the prices though. Some items, not all, are a little bit more than other places. But if you just need one or two items the shorter drive is well worth it.

Great place for the little things like nuts and bolts and what not. Other than that I find them to be on high side of pricing. Great friendly staff always around if you do have a question.

I didnt know you could buy individual screws and springs, Etc. In that way, Ace is so much easier than Home Depot. I am just getting to know Ace Hardware, but so far its been a great experience. The employees have been helpful and knowledgeable as well.

Ready to help. Had plenty of little parts, tools, nuts and bolts along with plenty of materials for maintenance of a home. Even an aisle for RVs! Paint section is well stocked as well. Recommended!

Every time that I go to Ace in Spanish Fork, I’m disappointed in the selection, pricing, and the staff.Save yourself the time and headache. Go to Lowe’s, Cal Ranch, or Home Depot.

Totally incompetent people working here. This whole idea of local is better does not work here. I would prefer big box stores over this place any day. Managers dont listen to you one bit. Would prefer you to just move on. I will never shop there again.The response the store just gave does not help with the problem. I asked for the managers name multiple times and was refused. I finally had to speak louder in the store to get the managers name who has responded to this post. I am not sure why it was so hard for them to provide me that information. The problem was not told to me at all that it would take several hours to do so. In fact, he had no idea how long it would take and kept blaming it on the person who last used it. And when I asked him if the other locations did it, there was no offer to call other locations (partner stores, I guess) to even see if they could assist me. I guess local means screw you at this location. This was my 2nd visit to this location to get the key programmed and both times were unsuccessful.The manager on duty wouldnt listen to a single thing I was concerned about when I brought my problem up to him. He was more interested in telling me that since I didnt buy the key from them it may not work... This is all as the program was still downloading an update and hadnt even tried processing the key. Dont you just love people who try to tell you what the problem is without listening to the whole story?Its unfortunate that a negative review gets more time than the customer gets while in the store. Just goes to show that new and shiny doesnt mean trained and helpful... Sad day.

Id like to give them 5 stars because of their service, but can only give them 3 due to their prices. The Convenience tax of stopping at Ace instead of the big stores can be pretty steep.

I was in a big hurry to get a part, with people waiting on a project. I called ahead to find out if they had what I needed. The store manager met me at the door, helped me find what I needed, and got me back out the door in less that 5 minutes. Amazing service!

Shopped here a couple of times. The employees have been helpful. The selection isnt as big as a big box store. But I have found what I am looking for each time I have gone.

The staff is so helpful, they even re-wired a light fixture and saved me a lot of time and frustration by doing that. Will definitely go here over the bigger guys just for customer service!(:

My experience here is hit or miss. The online store indicates that items are in stock, but there is no convenient system like Home Depot or Walmart that indicates the aisle and bay number of the item, or how many items are in stock. No Apple Pay support makes it difficult to pay for items. Some of the staff give off an unfriendly vibe and others seem to be ready to ask to help quickly.

Expensive but if you need something convenient and fast than its worth it.

Helpful stay every time that Ive been in there. The store is clean, well organized, and has had a great selection of the basics (nuts, bolts, screws) that exceeds the big box places (Lowes, Home Depot).

On several occaisions when I went to the counter to check out, the prices have been wrong. The items ring up higher than what was posted on the shelf. Then me and the associate would have to walk back and look at the price tag so I wouldnt be charged extra.Much of the merchandise is also priced higher high than their competitors, I mainly only go there when I have a coupon card just to break even with what I would have spent at lowes or Home depot. Sometimes the associates dont seem to know what they are talking about, so if I hadnt double checked things myself I would have left the store with the wrong items. Looking forward to the new Lowes.
