Mo is a really great person in general I got my Harley music installed fosgate 6/9s in my hard bags and new speakers in the ferring which glows red I also got a new amp installed man when I say it’s loud I really mean loud!! The shop is always clean and his employees are polite and friendly so if you need some work done on a car boat or anything that needs attention or an upgrade hit up mo music it’s the place to go oh and they also do interlock devices for those who have to have one to operate a vehicle

Mo and his staff are awesome! I had an electrical issue that caused my vehicle to not recognize my fobs and set the alarm off constantly. They were so helpful and fixed the issue at a more than reasonable rate! Highly recommend!!!

Mo and the crew over at Mo Music are incredible. I have always been interested in the work done by Mo and his crew. I have taken my vehicle in for several things including a remote start and new radio. Both times they provided excellent service and had it done timely. All of the staff and Mo made sure that I was happy before I left each time and made sure that they installed with the upmost professionalism. Lastly, Mo and the staff installed a full stereo system on my Polaris General and were set on providing me with the best sound they could with what was currently on the market. After spending several hours Mo had managed to configure a plan for the side by side that has completely outdone anything that I could have imagined. I was referred to this shop by some people I trust. I took my stock Lexus here to have all new speakers installed. I was experiencing a buzz in my left front tweeter, and returned for diagnosis.While my car was in the shop, I decided to have them install a 4 channel amp to drive the speakers.When I got my car back, there was a terrible noise from all my speakers I had never heard before while the associate was proudly demonstrating the new amp. I asked what that sound was, and he immediately said I had a faulty head unit ($1,200 DNX692 only 4yrs old). I left with the car, and noticed my rear seat had a big gap, and was loose. there was also a lot of copper wire and insulation embedded into my carpet. It was on the driver and passenger side floorboard, along with a fuse panel door. The trunk liner was also installed in the incorrect order, and wasnt secure.I was not willing to accept the noise, so I returned to the shop, and asked them to diagnose it, as well as re-install my rear seat properly.They called me back within a few hours and said for sure the head unit is bad. I then authorized them to install a new head unit (DNX695s).When I picked up the car, there was a very loud hissing noise in all the speakers, at level 0 volume, and intensified when volume was increased, with a buzz STILL in the left front tweeter. I picked the car up on a Friday afternoon, and returned with the complaint Monday morning.I asked that they keep the car until the problem was solved.after 4 days with no call, I decided to give them a ring to find out the status of my car. Mo himself said they had performed various troubleshooting steps, and he thinks the car is fixed.When I came to pick up the car again, I heard no more hissing from the speakers, and took the car happily. when I turned the volume up on a good song, I reached max volume on the head unit display, and it was not performing as I believed a 400.4 channel amp should. I turned it to half volume, and realized I could barely hear the music at all.Also noticed my rear seat had no seat belts, and it was AGAIN, not secured properly.I called to talk to Mo himself AGAIN. He said he turned the amps gain almost all the way down to alleviate the hissing noise.At this point, I have had enough of Mo Music, and believed the installers had lost respect for my car.I took my car to Reno Auto Sound to have a second opinion.They agreed that the issue I was having did in fact exist, so I authorized them to solve the problem for a maximum of two hours labor at $85.00 hr.They found that the right rear speaker was inoperative, and the 4 ch amp was in 3 ch mode. They installed a device called a line driver to boost the voltage to the amp, and cleaned up the disaster install job from Mo Music for $150 extra.I returned to Mo Music to ask for compensation for their install bill and some help with the diagnosis charge from the other shop.Mo himself said he could easily void my warranty for visiting a different shop.I told him i would gladly give him the opportunity to make it right, but I no longer trusted that his installers could respect my car.He insisted that he listened to the stereo in my car, and I had no problem with that. He then pointed out that my right front tweeter was not working, and said he needs it to work to make a decision. I was really confused as to why, and reminded him that it was a part of the speaker install that his shop carried out in a prior visit. He said the tweeter not working was making the hissing noise that previously existed go away.I disagreed, and asked for my money back.He then offered to have him AND I both spend time together during the day figuring out the problem on the tweeter! It was very difficult to not laugh, but I remained professional, and in utter frustration, feeling ill that I had just spent over $2,000 for all this, I politely declined.Thank you for reading this review, and please spread the word. Place is neat only ran in here for a little speaker wire. The owner was awesome there shop was super clean and organized. I was surprised since there was a ton installs going on the noise level was low. I definitely will be having then work on my next install.

Between my friends and I weve probably taken over a dozen cars to Mo Music. I recently brought my Corvette in to get the deck replaced. Their pricing was great and even though at first there seemed to be something wrong all I did was let them know it wasnt to my liking and they had the problem fixed properly without any extra pissing and moaning on my part or theirs and they did everything they could to make sure I was satisfied. I will continue to recommend this shop and bring my own vehicles to it as well.

The people at Mo Music are miracle workers. I know if I have an issue with my car they will fix it. I started out with a basic stereo with DVD and back up camera and hands free on one car and have brought 2 more in for even better equipment. I even took my vehicle there when I had an electrical issue and they fixed it. If I had taken it to the dealer the would have charged me over $600. Needless to say I didnt need all that and they fixed the problem for under $100. All of the people there are genuine and professional. I have never gone in and received less than stellar service. Go to Mo!!! He has been in Reno for decades you will not regret it!!

Couldnt have been happier with my visit. Had a tough issue with my grandmothers alarm so her car wouldnt start. Talked to the owner, said they could definitely do it. Brought it in with no appointment. They said it would be done by the end of the day. When I rolled up to work they called me and said it was done in about 45 minutes. You wouldnt even know they touched it. Gave me a great price and Insane turnaround time. Will definitely be back!

I recently bought some 0 gauge wire here. It did what they said. My music was more full and powerful. Their wire is pure copper, oxygen free. I had another companys 0 gauge in there before the replacement. What a huge difference! These guys really know whats up and are very informative about their gear. I got my subs from here a month ago after going to multiple places in town and while they werent the cheapest the quality and bang for your buck is absolute. If you dont want to waste your time just go to these guys and you wont be disappointed.

These guys do great work! Jasin worked with me to figure out the nightmare of my trucks stereo (09 Ram). They did a perfect job and didnt stop helping me until I was 100 percent satisfied! The lead installer Curtis was awesome and knew all of his stuff inside and out. Warren also worked on my truck and did an amazing job! The truck stereo looks great and sounds great.
