About all the Pharmacy on Prater and McCarren has going for it is its open 24 hours. Dont expect anyone to answer the phone. After 30 minutes on hold with no answer, I drove down there an hour ago. Ive been trying to be understanding of the labor shortage everywhere in town, and assumed that was why no answer. To my surprise, there were 4 employees there. 2 checking out people at pick up desk, 2 pharmacists. The most Ive ever seen there, actually.I had to leave, call Dr. I called pharmacy back from home, an hour after I left. On hold 25 minutes, and was hung up on. Just spent another 43 minutes on hold, finally an answer. I exclaimed my excitement and said Id been on hold 43 minutes. I received not a sorry, were busy, but a very snappy, well Ive had people waiting longer!, as if that was justification and I should be grateful they answered in 43 minutes. Ridiculous.
I use to shop here alot when I lived in the neighborhood..they have nice staff from what I remember. I dont know if they still work here but Judy and Myles were my favorite staff very friendly ❤The variety of products seem decent enough and they have a reliable pharmacy that you can easily pick up or have medication delivered!
Good luck finding anyone to assist you or help you check out. I was quite honestly convinced the store was not staffed and that you were expected to use self check out. Decided to print some photos online at this store since it was nearby, Ill go the extra distance for Walgreens in the future.
We were there October 2nd at 6:30 PM referred by other CVSs stating that was the only open CVS pharmacy. We drove there after visiting other CVS pharmacies that werent open. When we got to the counter, they decided they wouldnt take us for shots as they decided they werent taking walk ins at that time, so they wanted us to schedule our flu shots for another time. So, we are really dissatisfied with the poor service...
Used CVS Vista Pharmacy for 15 years for two peoples monthly meds. Its close to my house and was great when I first started going. Unfortunately about 8 years ago it started to go downhill. They are extremely understaffed. Leave you on hold for 30 minutes just to hang up or stand in line for 30 mins as a disabled person? Ive stayed for one reason, Jane. She was amazing. Knew my mom and I by name, always asked how she was if she hadnt seen her. Remembered conversations, would tell my mom to sit down instead of stand in line. Knew when she called just by her voice. She was a gem. Before she left, it was getting bad. They were overworked. It was apparent. Still we stayed for Jane but then she left. My mom wanted to try it longer. Im at my LIMIT. They now dont order enough medications so they cant fill your prescriptions. It always happens on a weekend so you cant call your Dr. We called a week before a RX was needed. Still didnt have it available on the date. THESE ARE PEOPLES LIVES. My mom is hoarding meds so shes not without when her script cant be filled. Its also happened to me. Im removing all of our scripts and going somewhere else.
Severely understaffed. The pharmacist was the only one working behind the counter. He called for management to come help 2x she came out saw the line and went back in to her office. As a result the pharmacist was stuck ringing people up instead of filling peoples medications. The dr called my friends order in at 8:30 am. After an ER visit. Its now 2:45 pm and it still isnt ready. Very poor management. Very likely will be switching pharmacies.
The staff in person is nice enough but this location has a lot to learn about customer service. I have been placed on hold and left there without being told how many callers are ahead of me, been left on hold for an insane amount of time too many times to count and I honestly cannot count how many times I have been hung up on. I can sympathize with the fact this location must be very busy but its no excuse to treat customers this way. I filled at this location for years and now will be filling at the Vista location. Which is a MILLION times better.
Just got off the phone with an customer service rep was told at 1;11 pm that my glucose meter for my type 2 diabetes would be ready within two hours well the rep changed the story now tell me that no meters is coming in and dont know when they are they mistreat diabetic patients this place is the worse avoid it at all cost not a good pharmacy
Great service!
This CVS has always been unique because it is open 24 hours which I think its the only one in Reno-Sparks area but the customer service is not the greatest the lines are fairly long all the time and the pharmacist are kind of snippy..the layout and the openness of the CVS are just uncomfortable I dont know what it is. the lights are just a little too bright and one time I had an employee following me around when I put some eye drops back on the shelf that I didnt want asking me where the eye drops were... I showed him and he felt quite stupid...it was very rude but I still give it five stars because its open 24 hours and that pretty much over powers every other bad thing about it....lol... so yeah...
My family has had very pleasant experiences at this location. In particular, with a pharmacist named Theresa, who is polite and professional while engaging her customers and is efficient when preparing their orders. I highly recommend this location to anyone who is looking for professional interactions with polite, friendly staff, in a store with a hometown feel.
Incredibly rude customer service. A snarky woman working there refused us service and intimidated another employee into not checking us out because we were not wearing masks, despite legitimate exemptions to the mandate. Management really needs to have a talk with their staff about customer service and politeness. I live across the street and Ill go out of my way to shop elsewhere from now on. If yall like store clerks bullying you, come on down~!
Same as others put on hold and forgotten, as Im writing this 30+ minutes on before getting to me
The pharmacy staff is great, except for Tyler who is rude, abrasive, demeaning, and callous. Please find someone else because this isnt McDonalds. This is peoples health and their lives, and they should be treated with respect and dignity. Also, please stop making customers and staff pay a penalty because youre not staffing correctly. Thats the quickest way to turn good people into bad customer service reps.
I came to the pharmacy around 10pm and there was just one lady there and it was busy. Regardless she kept her cool and was nice to everyone so kudos to her. But really guys? Big pharma is a multi billion dollar business and yall cant hire more people for the graveyard shift? I waited over an hour for my daughters medicine.
Cant say much here, typical CVS.
The best way to measure how far to stand away from someone during social distancing is on CVS receipt.
I had very pleasant experience with this pharmacy and staff. Pharmacist Lillian applied a coupon for me and I got my prescription for free. If you are a nice customer, they will go above and beyond. This is a extremely busy pharmacy, probably highest volume in town, the wait isn’t even that bad.
Minute clinic is a 5 star clinic honestly. They have Professional medical staffs. It’s not expensive too. The cvs is my preferred pharmacy. Thank you guys.
The pharmacy staff is unbelievably awesome. They are extremely busy but still do a remarkably great job. I will never do business with any other pharmacy.
Terrible service every time at the pharmacy. They don’t care if they waste your time. Waited forever in line to pick up my already filled prescription, even though there was only one person ahead of me. There’s only ever 2 people in the pharmacy it seems. They took their sweet time even though my prescription was already filled. The pharm tech grabbed it, wandered off and started doing something else instead of just bringing it to me and getting me out of there. This is the last time I’ll go there for Rx needs.
Would give zero stars if I could. The pharmacist is both arrogant and ignorant making for a specific flavor of negative experience thats not found at every place. Some people dont belong in health care, or in any field that requires them to do more than rub those last two brain cells together. The pharmacist has repeatedly, intentionally and maliciously caused prescription issues and takes joy in doing so. Steer VERY clear if you need actual pharmacy help, but the rest of the store isnt quite as awful. Just dont deal with the pharmacist from hell.
Very nice staff
Great store!!
Horrible communication skills. Forgeting to fill prescriptions. Not calling Dr. This place is a mess and doesnt care about patients.
Nice pharmacists and staff, always greet and counsel with a smile. Providing great service is the reason this pharmacy stays busy.
Open 24 hours with friendly staff, prices are a little higher than competitors but its convenient and. Clean. Lines can get a little long during the day
They lost my prescription a couple of times at the most inconvenient times possible. They told me a medication was on back order which I have no problem with that except they told me to come back at a specific date. When I came back multiple days later they told me they ran out again. The next time I dropped my prescriptions off and to come back in an hour. I came back in seven hours and then of coarse they forgot to fill them at once again the most inconvenient time possible. This pharmacy is soo bad that my 5 year old child could do a better job. This place is an absolute joke and someone really needs to fix this. Please save yourself the trouble and just use Walgreens or really anywhere else will do a better job guaranteed. You have been warned!! DO NOT PISS YOURSELF OFF USING THIS PHARMACY.
Always dirty, employees are slow and rude, prices should be considered robbery, somehow there is always a line. I regret stepping foot into this place.
Always have great sales items.
The pharmacist accused me of telling different stories when I needed a replacement antibiotic for my child after spilling it. It took me an hour on the phone with my insurance to unscrew myself after she convinced them I was lying about spilling some amoxicillin. Don’t go to the pharmacy!
Zero needs to be an option. Worst experience Ive had in a retail establishment I can remember. No staff to assist for anything, pharmacist standing at counter in a daze, assistant on phone, and a SINGLE person running rest of the store. I doubt I will ever step foot in a CVS again.
Rude lady working Thanksgiving night. Wouldnt work the photo machine. Told me to come back tomorrow or go elsewhere.Printer had someone elses pics printed and waiting so why not print out mine?We shop there often but never again.
Ive gone to get a money order from this place 3 times. The first time went smooth and was fine. The second was with the assistant supervisor Honeyleen in the afternoon/night. I had my cash ordered for her in the exact way I knew she was going to count it, instead... She complains at me for 15 minutes about having to count small bills and asked me to get large bills for her at the bank. It took her 30 minutes to count out cash I organized and counted for her 3 times in 10 minutes. She kept telling me you only have $39 in this pile of $50 only to find an extra $11 dollars sitting in front of her face The third time (which was about 20 minutes ago) was with 2 ladies one of which was the assistant manager, instead of heeding to the way I organized the cash for them yet again, they decided to jumble my cash up just like Honeyleen except this time losing count and making me pay extra due to the fact that they couldnt keep count. The employees in this establishment are unbelievable.
I stood in line for over 15 minutes just to drop off my prescription. I have was then told it would be over 30 minutes until my prescription was ready. So, were talking 15 min to drop off, 30 min to fill, and 10 min in line to pickup. Thats an entire hour to fill my script. This place is too busy and understaffed. I was planning to move my prescriptions here (I get several a month) but have better things to do with my time than stand in line and wait around at CVS. I went back for some refills after my first review and have waited in line for 10-15 minutes nearly every time.
The minute clinic is great! Thanks to Mara.
WAY BETTER THEN THE ODDIE STORE. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS GREAT AND SERVICE WAS QUICK.
Here pharmcist named lilian is a biggest selfish . She only cares about max rx done. But does not care if its accurate or not... she checks rx like throwing cards on poker table. Does not care about customer satisfaction . Just mean and always rude with customers. ..i always see her fighting with customers and coworkers ........need a change ..........
The Minute Clinic is 5 stars, the pharmacy is 2 stars, and the rest of the store is 4 stars. The pharmacy seems terribly disorganized and overwhelmed by their volume of business. The Smiths pharmacy at Baring & Sparks is much better.
The manager was so racist to me and my mother and she looked at us when we walk in we waited 5 minutes for she can come out and she didn’t follow the price and she tried to charge us more than it said and the cashier looked like he was under the influence of drugs and he kept saying unkind word under his breath I feel hurt about this situation I can’t believe they are still disrespecting my race in 2020 I feel bad for my mother she had to put up this.
Took an elderly patient to pick up a prescription. The line at the pharmacy was ridicules, I searched the vitamin isle 3x for cranberry pills before I had the pharmacy worker come and look. She couldnt find them either. I went and found a 2nd and 3rd employee and finally located them in the tampon aisle. I then suggested some be moved to the vitamins and supplements where I got a slight argument of well look we have gummies right here. Staff not knowledgeable, not well set up, high pricing, long lines at pharmacy. Id avoid this CVS if possible.
Went in 5/31/16The lady pharmacist who was helping me in the morning around 8 am was extremely rude, judgmental, and I could hear her gossiping in the back. I dont know why a company would hire someone like this, I do hope this gets to corporate.
I waited on hold on the phone for over 15 minutes. I called on another line and talked to someone in 5 minutes. They never answered my first phone call. I dont like this pharmacy.
The employees are very nice and helpful!
Rph here lilian is a crazy lady. Fights with everyone.
Convenient but prices are high
Their message says today is 24 Hours. I drove 20 miles to find out they close at 10pm. This place sucks.
The pictures of the cvs arent even of this location?? Why
Didnt even get attended, I arrived at 7:17 and they close at 7:30, but the lady said I had to be there at 7:15 in order to be attended. Really? Dont know If its a problem with the system or that CVS in general.
They had all my needs met and very kind
Pharmacy is really busy. They said my prescription would be ready in 1 1/2 . I returned 3 hrs. later and waited another 20 minutes. They may need an extra cashier.
Medication is ready each time
The pharmacy is so slow....
Busy
