I have had a very positive interaction with NV Power Products. I have a rare Honda tractor from the 90s and Brian McDonald has been more than helpful with advice over the phone even prior to needing repairs. I tend to do most of my repairs myself but his knowledge of this product leaves no doubt that any time I need help he will be more than able to accomplish the job. I highly recommend NV Power Products!
I brought my john deere lawn mower. They did a great job. Pricing was really reasonable.
My wife and I recently bought a pressure washer that was returned by another customer at Tractor Supply here in Reno. After getting it home, reading all the instructions, and repeated attempts to get it to start, it wouldnt. We called Nevada Power Products made arrangements to take it in and were greeted by Barry. He was courteous, professional and communicated clearly what he and the staff would attempt to learn about our lemon. Long story short, they got our pressure washer running in no time! The charge to do this was very reasonable and we couldnt be happier. Thank you, Nevada Power Products for being fair, responsive and competent. Highly recommend Nevada Power Products and will use them whenever we have a need!
Bought my Honda generator here. Best price I could find. Even cheaper than the internet. They also took care of 2 recalls from honda.
This place has the worst customer service. Call 10 minutes before closing and one of the employees stated he couldnt wait because he had to do Christmas shopping and i was 2 minutes away. Horrible customer service you wonder why businesses go under.
Claims to be a Briggs & Stratton authorized service point but does not work on Briggs & Stratton engines. Had my equipment repaired in Fallon, NV without any problems.
Paid $14,000 for a new Kubota X900 UTV. These guys adjusted the transmission. 4 years later the transmission burned up. Kubota says that it was misadjusted but was out of warranty. Nevada Power Sports lied to the Kubota customer service to get out of fixing my machine. Just overall bad, bad, bad customer service. STAY AWAYNice try, except that your mechanic told me that it was normal to have to kill the engine to get it out of reverse. Since no other dealer ever worked on it and the transmission was maladjusted...it was YOU that caused it and now you blame me, the customer. BEWARE of this Outfit..they DO NOT stand behind their work. It will cost you Thousands.
I have spent several thousands of dollars over two decades at this place for a reason. There is no better place for the sale and service afterwards. Plus they are a great bunch of guys.
Helpful staff
ALWAYS GREAT SERVICE
I drove to Reno 2 times (400 miles total) to have my Stihl chain saw starter rope repaired. Left it off, went to pick it up, brought it home, rope busted on first pull. Took it back, service man put a new pully in it, used it one day, started it up the next day and the rope pulled out of the handle. The rope is down in the pully. Then I discovered that the screws that hold the top cover on must have been put in with an air driver. I cannot budge the screws to clean the air filter. I am going to have to take it to someplace that knows what they are doing. I am certainly not going to take my chain saw 100 miles one way to your place not to be fixed ever again. Thanks for nothing. I am out quite a bit of money over the handling of this saw. Unbelievable! Calvin
We bought a $50,000 John Deere from this company last year. Because it is extra wide we arranged with a third party to have it taken in for its first service- as Nevada Power Products doesn’t have a wide enough trailer.I just received a call from Brian demanding immediate payment ($160) for the service as the tractor was loaded up to come back to us. I asked him if he would mind ringing my husband who had spoken with the company that very morning and he would take care of it. Brian told me that he would have to unload the tractor and keep it until the service was paid for.Why didn’t they call as soon as the service was finished? The third party picking up our tractor was recommended by them!!Brian said he was the main manager- I say to the owner that that you seriously need a new manager as Brian should not be managing anything more technical than a mop.Unbelievably rude- I’m absolutely astounded that a customer would be treated with such disrespect and disregard.
The guys I dealt with were very helpful. I will be returning to purchase some equipment soon.
Ordered parts 3 mo later had to finally file a complaint with John Deere. Got it 3 weeks later.
Friendly and knowledgeable employees
We came into the store today with questions on pricing and some more information on a tractor that would suite our needs. The store was not busy at all yet my husband had to say hello first to the man behind the counter. The man was not personable and proceeded to speak to my husband in a manner that was incredibly condescending and rude. Well theres a obvious difference, ones orange and ones green. After his rude not helpful comments the phone rang and instead of putting them on hold he decided to assist them with ordering a part. We walked out and will go somewhere who would actually like our business.
Been dealing with them for 26 years usually always a great
Pleasure to work with and they stand behind their products. We had some issues with a product we purchased and they worked with us to resolve it. Would definitely go back to this store again.
