Josh Wingo at Awning of Upstate was very helpful with the process of installing a very large carport at our house in Pacolet, S.C. This was a very big investment that we decide to make after our cars were damaged from a hail storm. The quality, craftsmanship, and price was very good. We would recommend Josh for the job, he works hard to make sure his customers are satisfied. The carport turned out Beautifully.

Great experience from the first phone call till the Goodbye when the work was finished. After installation I had questions and they stopped by to explain the answer in detail. Would recommend to anyone! And if you can think of anywhere you need an awning...they have many options of awnings to fill you needs. These guys are great at what they do and have great attention to detail. They dont just show up with a ladder in the back of the truck, they have top notch equipment to complete any job. Professional work, a show quality product, and an affordable price.

I contacted this company in May and over a 3 month period I still have yet to see them. He kept saying he would come give a actual estimate in person but never did. I sent him the pics of my small awning and he gave me an estimate over the phone which I was fine with. Not sure if I can upload my photos here but its the complete conversation I had with him over this time. I really don’t think I was hounding him to much. Check out the dates in the message. I would never recommend this company!

I contacted Awnigs of the Upstate to request a quote on a new retractable awning. I was surprised when the owner himself Josh, answered the phone and spoke with me for an hour answering my questions before he came out the next day to give me a quote. I contacted a few other awning companies before Awnings of the Upstate and I’m so glad I didn’t with them right away. My grandmother contacted him to do an awning at her house. He called her back 3 months later. She then scheduled an appointment with him to make an estimate he never showed up. She got tired of waiting and contacted another company.

I work at a restaurant where awnings were added. Awnings of the upstate did them. The owner told us it would be only 2weeks. That turned into 2 months. I would not recommend this company to anyone

I would not recommend this company to anyone. My father contacted this company to do some awnings for our business and the guy said he would be out soon to do an estimate. I contacted the same guy later that evening when he hadn’t shown yet and he promised to come out first thing the next morning. After he had still not shown we contacted another company and they came out and installed the awnings we needed same day. We needed some work done ASAP and had we waited on this company we would be screwed. I called back and left a message and i still have yet to receive a call back. This is terrible customer service. Smh.

Be careful trying to use this company they have major problems following thru with their word about starting a job for you
