I went to Mattress Firm in Spartanburg in need of a new mattress that could help me sleep longer and give me the support I needed for my muscles to recover and heal. I work production at an automotive manufacturer and the jobs puts intense strain on your body so I required lots of assistance picking out the perfect mattress that would not only fit my price range but my lifestyle. Landon was fantastic! He was extremely knowledgeable and able to address all of my needs but even more he was extremely patient while I carefully considered my options that he had provided me. I left extremely satisfied finding the perfect mattress that was even more affordable than I could have imagined. We had a great experience at the store and were not rushed through our decision making process. The staff were highly knowledgeable with all products and effective in helping us come to a conclusion. We purchased two beds, one for my wife and I and one for our son. The prices were good and a little better than the industry standard. All in all, we will use Mattress Firm in the future.

Walked into the store not expecting to walk out with a mattress. I will admit I am very picky and indecisive. Tom did an excellent job. Was not pushy at all and I ended up buying a mattress feeling good about my purchase. Would highly recommend this store.

Ordered a bunkie board which ended up being too small, they were awesome and exchanged it for a box spring at no extra charge, sadly thats where the awesomeness ended. Was meant to have it delivered on Tuesday but never got my 2 hour window call Monday night, called 1st thing when they opened and they couldnt find the order, they needed to call someone else to find it, I called back a few hours later they apparently still couldnt find it and said they would call me back, 3 hours later I called back and was told that they didnt have any delivery times for that day thats why it wasnt delivered and I needed to wait on the lady who took the order to call me the next day when she returned to work. Opening time came and went so I finally called back and spoke with the manager who thankfully got everything fixed, box spring was ordered and finally 3 days later my daughter got to sleep in her bed.

Had a really great time picking up a bed with these guys and I hate furniture shopping with the intensity of a thousand white hot suns. I needed a bed same day for a sick family coming to stay with us for a bit. They were super understanding, helpful, and friendly. Hand to god I walked in and was strapping a bed into my truck in less than 20 minutes. No BS, no run around, no gimmicks.

Soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a friendly smile. Landon was great and had helped us pick out the perfect mattress and pillows. I would definitely come back if I ever needed another mattress.

A good range of quality mattress products at an easy to get to location. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. We found the product we needed. A Tempur-Pedic with an adjustable base. They will remove our old mattress, and deliver and install the new product.

This was our fifth mattress bought at Mattress Firm over the years. We have always gotten great service and found a good mattress on our budget. And with the 120 night guarantee, all worries are gone. We don’t even think of going anywhere else.

Initially was coming in to just try a mattress and see about getting it at a later point. Walked in, laid on the mattress and loved it. We still wanted to wait though. But then we spoke to the worker at the store and he told us about the returned mattresses and that he might have one in stock. Sure enough he had one and would be able to get it delivered this Friday. Everywhere else we would have had to wait 3-4 weeks or l months just to get it. In our state, the law requires a returned mattress must be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. We figured, hey for half off, the mattress is guaranteed completely cleaned and sanitized and we get it 2 days later?! Sign us up.So basically, we walked in only planning on testing the mattress out, and ended up walking out with the mattress we’ve been wanting for so long, almost half off! 5 out of 5 stars!!!

The bed and mattress pretty much sold itself. I came in during the 4th of July weekend looking for a deal. I expressed to the salesman that I was a active duty military member. He whispered quietly that he would get me free delivery that was normally $150. I later went to the website after my purchase and found that they were offering free delivery to all customers. It made me feel that the salesman was disingenuous towards me. So I went on the website and ordered the same items to ensure that I got the right pricing, which I did. So my advice is utilize their website before going into the store if you have idea on which bed you desire to purchase. That way you can decipher between the salesmanship and the reality of the purchase.

Pam greeted us at the door with a very inviting attitude. She made us feel welcomed. Pam was very knowledgeable and explained each mattress in detail. Her attentiveness to our specific needs enabled her to direct us to the best choice for our budget. My husband and I appreciated being treated with respect and felt comfortable trusting her recommendations. Never did she belittle us because we could not afford the most expensive setup in the store. She insured us if we were not completely satisfied we could return or exchange within a specific time frame. It was also reassuring to have a associate that actually owned the mattress we selected. We are really excited and filled with anticipation of sleeping on our new mattress. The gentleman there is very nice! as a new home owner, i was dreading having to put down a lot of money for a mattress, but he was able to get me the best deals for the best quality 🙏🏻 he was very quick and knew exactly what would be best for me, and was understanding when we had to wait for my family to come pick up the items. couldn’t ask for a better experience! the lady who was working there was also very sweet ❤️

I had previously visited the Hillcrest store and talked to Joseph, who was friendly and knowledgeable. I went back for Labor Day to find that due to COVID the only open store was Westgate. At Westgate I was assisted by Frank who was also friendly and knowledgeable. Frank not only assisted with my purchase, he was able to match online pricing and financing options from another store. The whole experience was fantastic from research to decision making, and the Mattress Firm staff was helpful throughout the process.

My wife and I were looking for a bed and came in store twice, a week apart, and Pam, the sales associate that helped us the first time, remembered us and everything we had said before without missing a beat. Pam knowledgeably and patiently helped us with the incredibly hard task of choosing a bed, and when we finally settled on one, helped us get the best deal we possibly could. This took a couple hours and the entire staff could not have been more hospitable and friendly! Highly recommended!

Landen was so helpful and he really went over and beyond in helping me buy the right bed! I came in knowing roughly what I wanted and how much I wanted to spend, and gave him my preferences and needs and we narrowed down the options. I was able to get a super nice Tempur Pedic with an adjustable base, and saved over $1000 on it! He was also really cool with letting my young son play around on all the beds and mess with the remote controls lol. When other customers came in, he did a great job of juggling us all and keeping up with the sales. He was the only person working that day, and I think every person that came in purchased a bed from him. He wasn’t pushy or salesy, he was just relaxed and knew how to help everyone find what they needed. No one was ignored or waiting too long. My options for delivery or pick up were flexible and easy also! When I came to pick everything up the next day, the girl working there helped us load the heavy base and mattress! Really good store and good employees at the Westgate/Blackstock location in Spartanburg!

I have a large family under one roof. It’s a challenge in these times just to provide for everyone. Robert was patient and knowledgeable. We had to decide who was getting new beds and who was getting hand me downs...lol. Robert was quick to help us get the most out of our allotted budget by showing us sale items to match our needs. My wife and I felt right at home and we got more value than we ever expected.

I purchased two mattresses and platforms for my grandsons. The entire process was pleasant.I got a great deal and superb customer service. They are very happy.

Delivery was not good. The bed is for my 92 year old mother. Delivery crew was mad when they arrived as they had trouble finding the house. I was teleworking on a conference call and did not hear their call. They had words with me when they arrived. The sales people told my sister they would haul the old bed off, but the delivery crew refused to take down the old bed and said the room was supposed to be empty. So I had to quickly dismantle the old bed and throw it in the hall while they watched and threatened to leave. Once I alone got the bed out, I went back to telework to allow them to install the bed. They asked me no questions about bed height or anything. There goal was to be quick and leave. They constructed the bed in 20 minutes, came and got me to show me how the remote works. Never told me it could be lower or asked me about height. They quickly left and I went back to work. When it was time to get my mom to bed, the bed was too high. The company had no answers, the delivery crew are coming back two days later to lower what I now know are adjustable legs. I give them the lowest possible rating for customer service and situational awareness.

We came to this store on a whim to try out a certain mattress (that we quickly figured out was not for us.) We weren’t expecting to buy anything today because my spouse and I have VERY different needs and ideas about what’s comfortable. We figured eventually we would just order a bed-in-a-box from online that we both could tolerate but probably wouldn’t love. I had been dreaming of a split king with adjustable bases but everywhere I looked it just didn’t seem affordable. Lucky for us our salesperson Sarah was a miracle worker. I have dreaded mattress shopping because I hate feeling pressured by salespeople. Sarah was so friendly - she gave us a run down of the store, asked about our needs, gave us some pointers, and then let us take our time looking without pressuring us at all. When we figured out what we liked it seemed out of reach budget-wise. But Sarah worked some magic and got us exactly what we wanted - a split king adjustable bed with each side being a different mattress that works perfectly for my spouse’s and my individual needs. AND she got it for us for a totally affordable price! Plus free delivery and haul off of our old mattress! We couldn’t be happier and we’re so glad we decided to stop in!

We knew we wanted a bed, but we werent well informed about the many types. She was very friendly and took time to explain why each bed firmness is best for each sleeping position. I could tell she wanted to make sure that we made a good educated purchsing decision. She wanted us to love the bed that we bought. She was even able to help us get the best deal on our purchase, so thats always a bonus. Overall, we were pleased with Saras service and our buying experience. I called to make sure the store was open because of the pandemic (I called a couple weeks ago) and when I called the girl on the phone Sarah was pleasant and told me we should come in today for the memorial day deals. I am so glad we did. I have never had a king size bed and my husband is a bit picky about the bed he sleeps in... Sarah was super patient and let him lay in each bed. We ended up getting great deals and our bed hasnt arrived it has only been one day but I am so excited!!

The customer service is good, but i wasnt told until after i signed the contract that the e electric base is not returnable. We were told that we got to sleep on the mattress for 120 days to make sure my husband could sleep in it due to back problems, when we decided to return the mattress they took $460.00 for a return fee and then charged $99.00 to come pick it up, so we paid that much money to sleep on a mattress for 40 nights. I will never ever do this again.
