An absolute delight to visit. Chatting with the owner, who is the master distiller was both fun and informative. And like he told me this is not a novelty, it is a delightful small batch spirit. I recommend the traditional shine made with rye, and the peach flavored variety.

Incredibly nice staff, and a really good moonshine. I stopped in there after seeing it while driving down the highway and had to stop in. I was offered as many free samples as I wanted, but had to turn them down since I had to drive right afterwards. I did try a few of them, and I greatly enjoyed everything that I sampled. Ended up buying a jar of apple pie and the white lightning with rye. if Im ever back in South carolina, I know where Im going again.

Driving on 85...coming up to Exit 78 you will find Rock Bottom Distillers. Great moonshine. Great friendly customer service and their gift boxes. All round great place to stop, sample some moonshine and buy your gift boxes or individual mason jar full of a variety of favored moonshines....

I traveled very far to get this shine. I had a big backyard party last summer and this was the only alcohol I was serving. I wish I had more of it. All of my friends loved it. I will be back real soon to get some more. I just hate it will take me a week to get as much as I need.

We absolutely love Rock Bottom. The people who work there are amazing. Always free shine tastings, we either get the blueberry or the peach shine. Love them both.

The moonshine is awesome!! Great flavor quality product. We stopped in at closing time and the gentleman still took time to show us the process, tell us about each one and answer all of our questions. Dont let the plain exterior of the building deter you. Its beautiful inside.

Smooth and Great

If you have 10 minutes to spare, this is a place you have to stop. Dont be afraid of the outside appearance, this is just as nice as any legal Moonshine place out there. The people are friendly and the alcohol is strong. Samples are free and jars are competitively priced. Stop in to try some and leave with a jar or a souvenir.

Stopped in today to try some moonshine. Steve was a wonderful host! Such a fun place. We decided on the pineapple, and apple pie shine. Got the gift box, which is a great deal. Will be back for more moonshine in the future!

Guy that runs the place is really friendly and his product will keep you coming back. I recommend the strawberry, but dont take my word you can sample.

I stopped in today and grabbed a bottle of the Pineapple moonshine. It is very smooth and the sweetness is not overpowering. After reading over a pamphlet that came with the bottle, I learned that they use fresh, natural ingredients with nothing artificial. You can certainly tell when you take a sip. Go ahead and give them a try, you wont be disappointed.

The moonshine was amazing: complex interesting, just plain yummy. They have some very interesting fruit versions, some work local fruit I have never heard of.

This distillery is full of fun information and provides an “up close and personal” view of his moonshine is made. The owner is extremely nice and very knowledgeable, plus the moonshine is delish! We highly recommend the apple pie and white oak char - yummmm! This place is definitely worth a stop!

I came here looking for a anniversary present for my husband (4th year is fruit, and I wasn’t about to give a grown man fruit as a present lol). The gentleman working was very helpful and also very nice. I tried the peach and another one that I cannot remember the name of, and they were both really good. I bought my husband the peach and he LOVES it. We will definitely be going back to buy more and try some of the other flavors!

The inside is a lot nicer than the outside, give it a chance. Good service, good price on the items, decent selection. Good stuff.

Just bought 2 bottles of fruited strawberry moonshine. It was bottled in 2016. The directions says not good after 2 years being bottled. Very disappointing
