Massive disappointment and huge waste of time This place would get 0 stars if I could leave it. very unprofessional they wouldnt or couldnt deliver a paid for order. failed to deliver on 4 separate days that they scheduled. we were waiting. they didnt show or even call. then they gave me the runaround & never apologized. should have known something was wrong here when they quoted a price but when we came to pay for it said the quoted price was wrong and it was more than the quote. Ok strange but no deal breaker. we paid anyway with cash & they tried to give my wife a hand scribbled post it note in place of a receipt. she requested a real one and I sure am glad she did! anyway after 4 trips to the place, two to shop and pay one to find out when I would get my delivery after the first three failures, and one more to get my money back, I got a refund. but again absolutely 0 remorse or even an apology for wasting 4 days of our time and putting our project a couple of weeks behind

What happened? When we moved from Boiling Springs to Spartanburg downtown, we always bought our landscape supplies at Upstate Landscape supply. The staff was friendly and you got good product. We needed mulch and bought double ground hardwood. The buckets were not even full and it was cash only, without a receipt. the disappointment continued, when we unloaded the trailer. the mulch was partially gray and there was dirt and rock in it. For the next load, I went back to Hensons Mulch & More, again. Great quality and not even half the price for the same amount. Lessons learned.

I originally went to Upstate Landscape to do an estimate for my summer projects. I had no intentions of purchasing anything that day. The gentleman was so helpful and the prices were reasonable, so I did make a purchase for one of my projects. He and I had a great conversation after the purchase was completed and I left very satisfied. There are multiple options for rock and he sells other items such as dogfood, diatomaceous earth, birdbaths, planters, just an array of items. He delivered the rock on time and even took time to give me a rough estimate on gravel for my driveway. Thank you so much for your help. I will be back for that driveway gravel.

Since the other place closed down that I was getting my mulch and gravel from Ive been coming here Dave is very nice down to earth 🌎 so I will not go anywhere else but here

I bought the TumbleSafe mulch for my future home child care playground. They were friendly and helpful . They delivered it and was thoughtful in placing it to make it easier for me. I would recommend them and I will buy from them again.

Excellent customer service and fair prices. Little by little Ive been expanding my garden for the past 3 years. On Saturday I placed a call to another place that I had been familiar with (initials S.M. of Boiling Springs), and left a message with them that I wanted 5 cubic yards of garden soil. By Monday when I called back they had raised their prices by $5/cubic yard, had upped their delivery fee, and told me to call back in 2 weeks for delivery - that is not customer service, that is taking advantage of people during a nation in chaos and I wont support that behavior. So, I called Upstate Landscape Supply and Im glad I did! Their prices are not only better (for both garden soil and for delivery), Daves customer service is outstanding.

Being a local landscaper this is definitely my go to place to get all of my materials from, Dave will look out for you and take care of you.They have a little bit of everything there at his location from rock, dirt, sand, mulch and retaining wall materials.Good guy and really competitive prices compared to other landscape Supply yards in the area and the customer service is what really separates him from his competition.

Me and my Wife both have tried placiig a order here for a bird bath. I have even went to the place in person. First I was told the person who order the merchandise was not in, second my wife was told someone would call her back and third I was told they were behind schedule. All of this over an 2 week period. I will take my business else where. Products look good and prices are reasonable, but for some reason I can never get a call back. Go figure.

If you are a home owner needing ideas or choices in landscaping your front, back or side of your house, look no further. Many more choices than the large box stores. Mulch, rocks, pavers, sand, soil, they have it all. Delivery prices are reasonable and often times very quick. It was an hour after we ordered 2 scoops of mulch it was delivered. Dave is a pleasure to deal with and look around, ask questions. Just be aware youll see displayed a rock fountain and outdoor fireplace that will end up on your list of things you will want for your yard. Large rocks, small stones, and everything in between. Many different kinds of mulch from which to choose.

High priced on everything. Didnt know me as a regular bc I just moved. So my opinion he was quoting me high prices. May do business and may not.

We purchased some stone for landscaping. Excellent service and they do deliver for a reasonable charge. Prices are reasonable as well. They carry a wide selection of materials, we only looked at stone for our purchase. In particular we were looking for some harder to find stone that they did carry. Would definitely buy from again.
