We purchased a great pre-owned boat from the RecStation. They took the time to make sure we knew how to operate the boat and were able to purchase all of our boat toys there too. Awesome transaction! Would highly recommend.

Called Charlie on Monday asking about a trolling motor, he gave me a price and told him I’d take it and that I’d call with payment by the afternoon. I called back with payment to the office lady, was told Charlie would call me back. No call back so I called on Tuesday and they said Charlie was out but they would have him call first thing Wednesday. I called back Wednesday afternoon after not hearing from him, finally got ahold of him only to find out they sold it to someone else. Piss poor communication!!!! After I must have talked to 3 different people about the trolling motor. Then he says he has a new one for sale, thanks but no thanks I’ll take my money elsewhere and buy a new one.

We were happy with the customer service however when we went to “make the deal” they pulled both my wife and I’s credit SIX times each and absolutely obliterated our credit score for years to come just to find out they have HORRIBLE lender/loan options. We bought elsewhere with ZERO issues through a major lender to be told that Recstation.net has a terrible standing with lenders. What a shame.

I made an appointment to get a boat I just bought gone through. Everyone is busy right now so I was please to get an appointment within 2 weeks. I drove over to Spearfish and drop it off on Monday the June 29th (appointments the 30). I call the following Monday July 6. He said “ I will let me know when the guys in the back get to it and let you know”. I asked if there was an estimated time...he said he was hoping to get it in this week but not sure.So apparently an appointment to get it in means nothing. Further more no explanation like: the two boat that were before you had major engine problem, or sorry 2 mechanics quit..... nope not even sorry you drove 100 miles, we didn’t schedule well... nothing. Nope just yeah we are behind.Then I drive back over and tell him my name. Not a sorry about that... nope... you’re here to pick up your boat, it’s in the back.I never raised my voice, wasn’t even upset, just wanted an explanation why I made an appointment and a week later it hasn’t even been looked at or even a idea when it was going to be looked at. Good to be busy but I guess I’ll try another shop and it’s too bad cause it’s a nice facility.

After sale service- A few years ago we purchased a new pontoon from Shawn and Misti, it was a great purchase so it was an easy decision to go back. we traded our 5 yr old pontoon in on a couple used wave runners.After less than 6 hours on the lake one of the wave runners lost 1/2 of its power and would not run over 25 mph. I communicated with the shop Forman and was told they had no idea and would research my problem... we are not PWC mechanics it has been a few weeks and I have not heard from the shop Forman or the dealership...I know as is is what it means...… but less that 6 hrs on the lake and things go south?...obviously I am the owner of a previous problem with no help from the seller...... still not fixedVery disappointedI am no stranger to tuning wrenches, so after educating myself on Yamaha Wave runner engine technology. I was able to fix the issue myself, and the Yamaha wave runner runs great...to bad the shop mechanics were unable to help me resolve the problem They made the owner Shawn look bad.I would like note that Shawn did offer to have me bring the Yamaha up to the store and let his team look at it again. At that time it was still winterized and stored away, and i just didnt have the time to get them un-wrapped and hauled up to Shawns store before summer.

There IS no other place to purchase watercraft, new or used and accessories Galore.
