This is the first time ever that I can say I have absolute trust in my mechanic. My problems are fixed correctly the FIRST time (never misdiagnosed). The prices are far below dealership. The customer service is outstanding.I bought a 2009 Audi A6 two years ago. Big mistake, but thats beside the point. A local mechanic would not touch it, but recommended Harvey at Small Car Clinic. Harveys specialty is Audi/Volkswagen and his team works on North American brands too. Ive had three major repairs done there.Harvey clearly explains the problem and repair options. I prefer an abundance of details before I am convinced that the problem has been diagnosed correctly. Some problems cannot be 100% understood until corrective actions have been tried. Harvey answers all my questions and is upfront and honest about the probability of each option. This has not been my experience at other shops where it sometimes takes 2-3 attempts to get it right after theyve lead you to believe they completely understand the problem the first time.Another quality that stands out about Small Car Clinic is they try to fix the problem instead of simply replacing parts. This is the old school approach and will save you significant money. For example, I needed a brake job a few weeks ago. If I had gone to the dealership, or any big brake stores, they would have insisted on replacing all rotors and brake pads. Harvey machined the rotors.My overall cost for the brake job and other work was about half that of quoted dealership prices. These savings are typical. Ive saved 30-50% on all my repairs compared to dealership prices.

Have to say Im a bit biased about this shop. Ive been a customer for 20 years. You have to be able to trust your mechanic, and I can say without hesitation that I do. If you have a foreign job this is the place to go. If there is a way to save on the repair, they will find it. If you can get by for awhile on something else they found, they will tell you. If its unsafe, they will let you know.

We are sorry you were not happy with our repair service.You brought us your high mileage old rusty Nissan that you had advertised to sell. It had a check engine light due to multiple emission diagnostic codes. Many times in order to fix them all we need to address one issue first, drive the car for approx 100 miles allowing the computer to reset, then address the next.Your fuel filler pipe was perforated with rust, it was venting to the atmosphere. Once that was repaired we needed to address the next issue. The problem was you waited til the last minute to address any issues. You are not the only person in the world. Should we bump our other regular customers to the back of the priority list when you demand we service your car immediately? I dont think so.We all know everyone has one, please dont show yours around here again.

Awesome car shop. I will definitely go back. Honest, trustworthy and fixed all my issues and brought up issues that will come up on my car in near future.
