A decent pizza / hamburger / kebab joint located centrally at Ås kvartal. There is a small outdoor seating area during the summer months but not can be noisy and dustic with the traffic. There is a good range of pizzas and kebabs to choice from the menu The restaurant / cafe / bar has an informal ambience with a friendly staff, a nice place for quick bite or a pit stop after shopping groceries at The adjacent grocery store b( Rema 1000). It is possible to order take out based on the convenience.

Stopped by for lunch accompanied at eight. One pizza did not come with the rest of the food. Called for it without response and went to cancel, since everyone at the table had finished eating anyway. Then finally came the pizza - which turned out to be cooked in a hurry and was therefore not edible. Suggested that we could avoid paying for the last pizza, but nope. Bad customer experience.

I ordered sweet potatoes but I got regular, we waited ck 40 min. We also ordered a Pepsi to never get it no matter that the boy even asked if we wanted something more ... The food was just edible. We ordered different dishes but it been the same regular kebab food only with few tortilla chips. There were only a few living busy.
Here everyone finds something they like, made from scratch with fresh ingredients. Have completely fallen in love with Charlies Kebab in pita. Baked and spicy pita bread, fresh salad with really hot, crisp and juicy meat. Here it is not mass production, but a chef who has made everything with pride. This is really high end restaurant kebab, if there is anything called it :-) Top service!

Cozy place, safe and good for families with children during the day. In the evening there is a good atmosphere with very good service. Nice service with a sense of good ingredients and fantastic food. Good selection of drinks and long opening hours.This is the gathering place that Ås has been missing for years! Is good with outgoing and forward-thinking waiters and owners 👌

The worst and coolest tenderloin we have ever tasted. We did not get rejected when we said nicely either. Discourages everyone from eating here. Everyone can make better steak than this.

Have tried a little different on the menu, the burger and kebabs are good.
Have passed this place many times but never entered. This is due to another slightly sluggish impression of the location with the nearest neighbor a rema1000, a parking space and a parking garage. Today I tried take away and ordered the burger. I have to say I am very happy with the jack daniels bbq burger I ordered. The price was fair and the portion with fries and onion rings was large. Students also get a 10% discount, which is a big thumbs up when running a business in a student environment like Ås. Inside, the room looked very nice so should not ignore that I eat inside next time.
Nice with several eateries in Ås. Tam coffee from coffee machine. Messy menu system with multiple menus. Disordered. Didnt try the food. Could have cost and cleared the outdoor area a little better. Stayed a little insolent with broken glass and smokers everywhere. Table as wobbles and for large seat cushions. Very nice waitress. Nice interior. Will come again enough to test the menu.

Dirty resturant looks like it has not been washed for weeks, the waiter picked up the phone while taking our order, the food was sub par and on par with a grandis from rema1000.
As we know from before, the food and atmosphere of this place is amazing.Last night we were 4 people who were NOT disappointed.We ate 4 different dishes and all 4 were equally pleased with the quick and incredibly enjoyable serving. One of the worst restaurants I visited. Ordered a piece of meat and can honestly say I would rather have eaten my own shoe. The waitress gave a good treat and I got back the money for the food.The environment inside is fresh but it does not feel like a nice restaurant atmosphere. The outdoor environment is disgusting, cigarette butts and broken glass on the ground and it takes an eternity before the tables are cleared and dried. Pizza and kebab are ok but overall I never visit the place again.
Was shown to a table in the middle of the room. After about 15 min we were asked to switch tables because the music was playing there.They did not accept ordering they had to pick up for themselves.It was partly cold food. There was no service at all. The table was not cleared until more than an hour had passed. Was not seen at all. Was not asked if we should have something to drink or dessert. Must be sharpened or we will not go there again. Plus we were asked for money because of the music. It was out of date so we went.

Charlies is a nice place to eat, great to meet for lunch or have a pizza in the evening. The food is good and can be highly recommended. Have also tried some of the takeaway menu also highly recommended. Good food at ok price. Experience that the employees are great and stand up for you to have a good experience. Take a trip and judge for yourself. Think you will have a good experience.
