The guys over at Honest-1 Auto Care of Spring Hill are extremely reputable. This is the first time Ive used an auto mechanic around here to work on our Acadia. I have usually done any work that needed to be done back when we lived in Wisconsin and when I had a lift and tools to do so. I wasnt sure and I was nervous about trusting someone else, especially not knowing anyone who has used them, to work on our Acadia. They completely fixed our issue(s) and in a very reasonable amount of time. These are definitely stand-up people with integrity and....honesty! I 100% recommend Honest-1 Auto Care here in Spring Hill! They have most definitely earned my trust and my future business if I need it!

It was an absolute pleasure using Honest-1 today. I came in with just general maintenance that was required, but asked for a full diagnostic. A full diagnostic was done, but Rod didnt charge me for it because I only needed standard maintenance. However, I totally should have been charged the full rate for diagnostic. So they really did me a favor today. They did a great job taking care of me as a walk in with only a little time on my hands. Thanks so much, team! I highly recommend this business.

We have always taken our cars here because like their name implies, they are honest. Whenever my car needs a repair they are upfront with the cost and time frame. Most recently I took my car in knowing it was going to be bad news. It had been acting weird for months for multiple reasons. They confirmed this and took the time to walk me back and show me the exact issue. When I said I was thinking of a new car they were relieved. They did not want me pouring tons of money into it either. They were not pushy about it at all and for a car repair place this is unique. They could have counseled me into spending SO much money. Our dealings with them has always been like that. Car repairs can be very stressful and they are rarely good news in my experience. This place makes it a little easier.

Took my Nissan Rogue in a few weeks ago as my air was not blowing as cool as it should. Honest did the evac and recharge and advised us to come back within a couple of weeks to check for leaks with they added dye. We took it in on a Tuesday (hoping to take this car on vacation that Friday). No leaks, but we were advised that the compressor needed replacing as it was going out and leaving metal fragments. They expected to have the parts in on Thursday, to be complete by Friday. On Thursday, we were advised that the wrong compressor was ordered and that the first tech had missed that the condenser needed replacing as well (while also apologizing for this), but that everything was in stock and still on schedule. Unfortunately, this increased our cost by about $600, but we understood. Honest was still able to complete the install by Thursday afternoon and we are so appreciative of this (they were very understanding our our hurry! Our 7 hour drive each way to and from vacation was perfect - no air troubles at all. Thank you!!

So I’ve used these guys a few times now. Their communication is horrendous.I brought my truck in for a full inspection and differential fluid replaced. I made an appointment early and dropped it off the day prior explaining to the gentleman what I was interested in. The next morning, The first person who called asked for details on what I wanted, the second person called and had no idea what the first person called about. Then I was told I needed an oil change - it just got one within the past month and haven’t even hit 1k miles yet - then I was told they found some leaks and should they investigate why there’s leaks. The guy on the phone said they’d have it done that day. Well closing time came and no phone call they were done. We called and someone answered saying the mechanic had already left and they had no idea what was completed but he’d call us at 7:45am the next morning. 8:30 am the guy finally called and had no mechanic. Then I got a call around 11 saying they had diagnosed the front tire with wheel bearing issues and they had no idea about the leaks from the day before. I asked if they changed the differential fluid and they said no they purposely didn’t do that, but he’d call me back after he finds out about the supposed leaks.1 rolls around and I get a call explaining the leaks and again asked if they changed the differential fluid - again they purposely did not do it but said they would get it done today. Then nothing. No phone call, no messages no nothing. 3pm closing time and I got no phone calls letting me know if it was done or anything. They don’t open until after the holiday on Tuesday morning. I need my truck for work Monday & Tuesday and now I’m SOL.Absolutely ridiculous. I will not be using them any longer.

These people are crooked. My check engine light came on and took my truck to them only because it’s close to my house.They charged me $100 to run diagnostics and check codes. They told me it was due to “oil pressure” and the oil sending unit was bad and needed to be replaced, as well as an oil cleansing treatment totaling about $1000.He sounded unsure and really did a poor job of explaining everything so I didn’t trust them.I picked my truck up and took it to my normal mechanic and he ran diagnostics for free and the code that came up was something he said was minor having to do with torque, but having nothing to do with oil pressure. My normal mechanic said it was most likely due to some minor hiccup in the system that caused the traction control light to flash which caused check engine light to flash. He reset it and if it happens again I will go back to my normal mechanic who is trustworthy. He didn’t charge me a dime.If you gotta put HONEST as part of your business name, chances are you’re not.

The front person told me they don’t do the tire rotation because it was less then 2mm, that was wrong wright now the tires are at 5mm and they did not tightenougf the oil bolt

Its a convenient and relaxing place to get my truck checked out with all fluids checked and/or topped off. Reasonably priced and no pressure of giving me the aspects of what type of expenses I could incur in the near future. To top it off, I got Famous Amos chocolate cookies left for me in my car!!

Our vehicle began making a noise on the interstate and this was the closest auto repair shop open. They were very kind and helped me immediately. They solved the problem quickly while my family waited in the nicest lobby Ive ever seen in a repair shop. These folks are awesome.

We were on our way back to Wisconsin and hit a pothole which damaged the plastic surrounding the air box. This wonderful place speedily took a look and temporarily fixed the problem to get us home safely. Very generous and helpful and they have no idea how appreciative we are. There are still good people in this world!!!

My clutch needed a full replacement. These mechanics were detail oriented and also looked to save where they could without compromising the vehicle needs.I would have liked a call letting me know when parts had come in/updated timeline when possible instead of we will probably get the parts on this day and maybe get to your car by this day. They were however very respectful and understanding when asked for an update since the vehicle was with them for more than a few days.10/10 would go back!

Traveling through town and blew a tire on Saturn Parkway. With a broken ankle I was unable to put on spare tire. They happily helped me out and didn’t charge me a penny. Talk about great customer service!

These guys are quality. Gave me an inspection report of my Jeep and illuminated some problems I wasnt aware of...did that for free when I took it in for an electrical charging problem. First I would like to thank Brian for the best service I have ever received from an auto repair place. He took the time to find a part for my car that nobody else was able to find. He also was able to get my car serviced the same day he got the part. They have a shuttle service that added great value for me. He also went over and above to get the part and service covered under warranty. This saved me several hundreds of dollars and I am grateful for that. I highly recommend taking your car to Honest-1. I called to see if I could bring my car in to have very specific parts replaced. I was told the diagnostic fee was waved as I had told them what Id like replaced. I was personally given a ride home by the owner and had a good conversation. I was quoted more for the parts than I could justify paying. I decided not to have the car repaired through them. However, Honest-1 was kind enough to let me keep my car in their parking lot for a few days. Despite the fact that I didnt have the work done through them, I greatly appreciated their professionalism and kindness. I would recommend Honest-1 for honest work, especially if youre able to afford quality work on your vehicle.

I came in for a flat tire. This location does not sell tires but the staff was willing to service/put my donut on for me in no time as I was already late for work. I will be coming back to this location as it is extremely close to my house and the staff was professional, friendly and efficient.

Great service! Had an issue with my license plate screw not coming out and they ended up giving me a cheaper price than they originally quoted because the labor was not as much as they thought. They also identified a problem the Toyota Dealership did not!Honest-1 even provided me with free shuttle service to and from my home while they were working on my car. I love this place because my boys have a place to play and they are dang quick. I feel like they care that my little fellas dont have all the patience in the world. I went for an oil change and they were all around amazing. Their very accommodating to customers regarding all aspects. They have a nice waiting area with complimentary food and drinks, an area for children to play Incase you have children. They go over everything concerning your car from beginning to end. I was limited on money and they even told me about a coupon that was available which was amazing because most people do don’t that anymore. They were friendly, fast, and professional. I had my truck assessed due to it showing a brake error code frequently. They came back saying that it was showing due to my brake fluid being low. I greatly appreciate their honesty. They could have came back saying I need new brake pads and rotors, but they didn’t. I will be back to see them next issue that comes up.

We had a $25 off coupon for an oil change. We called beforehand to see what the price would be with the make and model of my car. They said it would be $58 after the coupon. We ended up getting charged $80 after the coupon. It’s a 2015 Toyota Avalon. Next time we will just do it at home. If you have to tell people you’re honest, you’re probably not.

Last time I was in the shop, I had poor customer service and didnt have a good experience. Left a 2 star review. I decided to give them another shot and brought my SUV in this week due to an oil leak. They took care of everything and the customer service was amazing. Totally changed my mind and leaving a 5 star review.

Had an appointment they got me right in they were very professional. When they were finished they went over the free inspection of my vehicle made recommendations from the service chart for my vehicle. I highly recommend then as they are affordable and honest.

The reason for the poor review is that when I called to make an appointment I described the service I needed and mentioned I had the parts as well. During that call I was quoted a price for the service on my vehicle which included them providing the parts. I dropped off the vehicle and was asked to sign an acknowledgment that had a box for the price of the service which was blank. I asked if we should put a price in the box and was told that it was not needed. That was certainly my mistake! During the time they were working on my vehicle I received a call saying that the price was now nearly double from what was originally quoted claiming that it was because of the type of vehicle. Interesting to note that they knew this the day the appointment was made. I received a 2nd call a little while later saying the price was going to increase again because they needed additional parts. I had to remind them that I brought the parts and they quickly claimed they were servicing another vehicle of the same make/model. Interesting enough when I went just minutes later to pickup the vehicle there was no other vehicle on premises that was remotely similar. I would not recommend them to my friends or family. Honesty apparently is not their policy.

When we moved to Spring Hill we were dreading having to find an auto shop. But then we found Honest 1. They have already done great and honest work on 2 of our vehicles and they communicated very well throughout the process.Then I got to meet the owner, Rod, and it all made sense. He really cares about being a great local car shop for his Spring Hill neighbors. We love Spring Hill and love this shop!

I came in early Saturday morning to get an estimate on fixing the heat in my truck. The owner happened to be there, greeted me, and asked how he could help.I explained what was going on, and he said they have a few other vehicles they are working on, and he asked if I could drop it off. I told him I could, but had to get to work. He arranged transportation for me to get to work, then followed up with an estimate to get the work completed. The price was fair, and they completed all of the work. They then picked me up from work and brought me back to the vehicle for pick up.I culdnt ask for a better customer experience.Truly above and beyond expectations.

Great experience with this location! Ive been twice for an oil change and both times Ive been completely satisfied. Quick 5 star service. They even give you an 80 point inspection if Im not mistaken, and update you on any issues you may have or can run into. Pricing is on point too and they offer discounts on their website. They even leave you a pack of Famous Amos with a note lol. If you need servicing for your vehicle this is the perfect place to go.

I was apprehensive due to the name “Honest” which is contrary to the ethic of many auto repair shops I’ve been to/heard of. I needed a new engine in my car and called around the area to get quotes. I chose Honest-1 because of the quote and their 3 yr/30k warranty on repairs. The engine shipped in very quickly and was installed in less than a week. I believe I got the best deal possible. Great place for major repairs.

I have the CarMax extended warranty on my car and went to this shop when I needed a catalytic converter and an O2 sensor. Turns out the Carmax extended warranty doesnt cover catalytic converters. I came back with a new catalytic converter so Honest-1 could put in my O2 sensor and they discovered it was going to take more time and cost more to replace than they thought because the sensor was stripped. First of all, they told me that as soon as they found out so I wasnt surprised. Secondly, the lady at the front desk called CarMax to make sure they would still cover it. The CarMax representative had an ugly attitude and balked at covering it, and then put the lady at the shop on hold for 35 minutes. The lady at the shop finally hung up and called CarMax again and got a different representative, who agreed they should cover the cost. The lady at the shop had to do a lot of extra work to get it approved and to bill it to them correctly, but went out of her way to do so and it saved me a lot of money! I would not hesitate to take my car for repairs here again.

I took my car in to have a free brake inspection this morning. It turns out I didnt need new brakes but they did find a different problem, one that they advised could be covered by my warranty. I was happily surprised by their honesty. They were professional, provided superior customer service, were patient and informative, and in general were very accommodating and caring. A special shout out goes to Brianna for going above and beyond with customer service as well as Kellen and John. I definitely will be back for any auto services my vehicles may need that they provide!

The only reason I am giving one star is because the actual service to my car was as expected. As for the customer service at this establishment, it leaves EVERYTHING to be desired!First and foremost, this facility continues to address me as Mark. This is absolutely not my name, it is Marla. Even though I have corrected them multiple times, I was still called Mark. My invoice says Mark and even as a final dig at me, the request for this survey said “Hi, Mark!” I know I filled out the incoming paperwork as Marla, not Mark. I’m sure if the paperwork was pulled they could clearly see that it is written “Marla”. But I’m sure all that was overlooked because the counter worker never addressed me; the person that happens to be the actual car owner! Leading to my next frustration.My husband was continually addressed during the whole visit, even after I addressed the counter person directly. (I am left only to assume the reason Mark was put into the invoice for my car was because they assumed that was my husband’s name, bad assumption.) I was dropping off my car for service to be completed the next day and already regretting leaving my car with them. My husband asked me to overlook the ignorance on the part of the counter person.Fast forward to the next day when I was called about my car. This is the first moment I realized my name was entered as Mark. The lady that called to give me an update asked for Mark, I said “no, this is Marla.” And the woman had the nerve to say “I am not sure I can talk to you.” I told her “yes you can, it’s MY car you are calling about!” This call only aggravated an already touchy issue.Surprisingly this saga doesn’t end here... but let’s suffice to say I will NEVER return to this establishment and I will NEVER recommend them either!Hopefully I’ve made it clear, I am not a satisfied customer at all!And the kicker to this since my name is STILL “Mark” in their system, I can’t wait to find out if my warranty will be honored!Sincerely...NOT Mark!

We have been coming here since it opened. They have the best price for a quality oil change. The dealership recommended an expensive maintenance service. I asked Honest-1 what they would charge. They said that I shouldnt have it done unless I was having issues. That having it done could cause issues where there were none. Now that I honest!

I always dread auto repairs, but as cheesy as that sounds Honest-1 in Spring Hill turned that around. I have had my van in there twice in just the first few weeks they were open and it wasnt nearly as bad as I had expected. The second time I even looked forward to it. The employees were so friendly. They were very clear about the work and pricing that needed to be done. There were no hidden or added fees when I received the bill. They also told me things that some would say needed to be done but there recommendation is that we dont do them for X reasons. If they are turning down potential money because they feel it is in my vehicles best interest that says quite a bit to me. They were even willing to work around my tight schedule to get me in to get the work I needed. Their free shuttle service is what sealed the deal for me though. I live close to the center and they took me home after dropping off my van and then picked me up when it was finished. I didnt have to spend hours waiting around. I was able to go home and catch up on work. Waiting didnt seem like it would be too bad either though as their lobby was bright, very clean, and full of great refreshments. I would certainly recommend them to anyone and will definitely be back next time I need a repair or regular maintenance.

Terrible. Drove my car in and then they tried to tell us it was undriveable and that we couldn’t leave. A long with a $1500 to fix the car which on the breakdown included doubles of a lot of things. Long story short we fixed the car for $200. It’s like new. A little confused why it’s called “honest” cause it’s not. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Went in because it was the nearest place where my car broke down in the morning . They called me at the end of the day and said the timing belt broke so the rest of the engine was damaged. I assume my car was out to pasture...until I talked to my friends about it. They said I should look up the engine type. Mine was a non-interference engine - basically the timing belt would not break anything else when it snapped. Why was I the one to find out this info and bring this back up to them? They are supposed to be the experts right?? The kind of info I learned seems like car engine basics. I ended up paying the diagnostic fee and taking it somewhere else. Simple mistake and assumption, but still frustrating.

This was my first experience with Honest 1 Auto Care and Im quite pleased. From beginning to end they listened, were transparent, and got my car repaired quickly without trying to up sale or suggest unnecessary work. The next time I need my car looked at, Ill definitely call them first.

I used Honest-1 Auto Care for the first time recently. I live in Columbia and wanted my mechanic (John Mosier) who had moved there to work, to continue servicing our vehicle. They were great! They were in regular communication with me on the status of my vehicle and continued to work until they found the issue. I highly recommend them.

Went on Friday to ask about the cost to do fix timing belt, the guy at the front desk gave me an estimate between 500-700$! That was a good deal! But asked me to bring the car on Monday morning, I did, and waited more than an hour for a tech to take a look and give me final estimate, the final estimate was 1300$, can you believe it! They kept me waiting for more than an hour to give me more than double their initial estimate.I would say, avoid this place go to professionals.I received a reply, First, I went there in person and got the information directly from the front desk not on the phone. The labor estimate was 270$ before taxes. The wait time was just to look at the car, not to fix it.So, all info is, unfortunately, not accurate!

I made an appointment for an oil change and a tire rotation for my care. They were ready for me and took my car right in and with an oil change the tires were rotated for free. This was great service and a bargain. Thanks, I will be back!

I was amazed and surprised by the over all kindness and honesty of the staff. Peggy was so nice and helpful. I got to meet the owner and talk to him. He treated me as if we knew each other for years and I just met him that day. My experience was very telling and I would certainly recommend this establishment to anyone who needs decent and Honest Auto care.

Said they would fix it, didnt fix it, kept it past agreed date and still wanted full payment. Who does that? Bad business to not call when you cant finish on time. We called late in the afternoon asking if our truck was ready and they said they needed another day. Why wouldnt they have called and said something? Had to rearrange our schedules to get to work. Went to pick it up and paid. Went out to the truck and it sounded terrible. Said they couldnt fix it. Then why take our money?! Gave them another chance and a full week to fix while on vacation and its still not done! And they want 300. more than was quoted AND put the wrong parts on! What is wrong with this place! Its 6pm 7 days later and our truck isnt even at the shop. Unbelievable.

Always great customer service. Fast yet thorough on oil changes and tire rotations. Call at least by Monday to make an appointment for Saturday as the book up quickly.

Friendly and honest. Im happy they opened on this side of town. I used the $24.99 oil change on the back of my Kroger receipt and was impressed that it also included a 100 point inspection. I suggest you do the same and give them a shot.

Warm and inviting atmosphere and the customer service agents were great. However, they wanted to charge for 3 hours of labor to do the job that I did at home by myself in 30 minutes. Im not a mechanic.

Friendly service without too long of a wait for the services I was having done to my car.Honest 1 had sent out a coupon mailer and I was able to save money by using the coupon.They drove my car around to the front for me, walked me to my car and opened the door for me ....When I got in my car to leave they had put a thank you note and a bag of cookies on my dashboard. Such a special touch that meant alot to me.

One of the best experiences I have had with the auto care industry. The seating area/waiting area has many chairs and an interesting design, it also has a large window where you could look into the garage to see your car being worked on. While I was there they offered complimentary drinks and a snack at the same time I was using their wifi to continue some unfinished work I had. I was just a walk in, and they got to me right away, even though you are to make an appointment. The manager and owner were very active and wanted to make sure everyone was comfortable.... Good Energy and happy to serve. Mentality of always improving, as I left, they left a gift for me in my car and told me they saw no immediate services needed. They made sure my vehicle was 100% to drive away... THANK YOU

Got a coupon in the mail for $25 off an oil change. I use full synthetic and after the discount my bill came to $80. Terrible pricing!
