The employees are really nice, and the selection of books is great. The store is always clean and well organized. They also have a large selection of budget-priced books.

Reminds one of Barnes and Noble (clearly) but Books A Million has just a little more of niche and fun merchandise. Great for any pop culture lover or obviously the avid bookworm! Another plus is how organized and easy it was to find different sections.

The inventory is great, but customer service is lacking. They wouldnt match their own online prices. Told me that I could order online (while standing in the store) and select in-store pickup to get the online price. That seems ridiculous. I try to support local/not Amazon, but a book that was $15 at Target and Amazon was $35 with them. Thats a bit steep. On top of that, when I went to go and do a return it was a pretty subpar experience. I arrived in the store, no one greeted me. I waited at the register but there wasnt an employee to be seen, except working at the cafe which had a line of 5 people. More people were lining up behind me. We waited 10 minutes and then the woman working at the cafe yells across the store, I CAN CHECK YOU OUT OVER HERE! so then all of us in line at the register shuffled over to the cafe, making a line of 5-10 people deep. No one apologized. So much waiting. Sadly, I wont be going back, Ill support some of the independent bookstores instead.

Great my girls and I spent three days in a row coming in and I bought them a total of 16 could be more, but it was fun none pressed us to buy or anything like that, it was really relaxing .

I am not sure what is going on with this store. Ive only been there twice, bit both times they did not have the book I was looking for. Now, if youve been here, you know its a big store, they look well stocked, but alas... it has been a disappointment.

Store is ok, lots of cool stuff, some of the employees are rude, not all of them, just two that talks way to much about who is over them. Instead of talking about your boss, you need to be paying attention to the patrons waiting at the register ready to check out.

I miss book stores. Stopped in here the other day and was brought right back to the time when book stores were a must stop. Book selection was good, staff was knowledgeable, coffee bar, and(why not) more Harry Potter than anyone could believe existed.

Continues to disappoint. Good selection of books, magazines and calendars. Customer services lags behind other major book vendors. Spur of moment coffee order at in store coffee shop. Clerk took call just before I walked up. Took. quite a while on phone then told me he would be back and walked away. That was too much for me. Got my coffee down the road. If this was isolated incident I would write it off. Unfortunately over the last 12 months my disappointment has becoming the defining feature of BAM interactions, regardless of in store or online.

I have to say extremely understaffed Could not begin to find the gift items or books we were looking for and ÑO ONE at registers or in cafe. Other customers wandered with as bewildered looks on their faces as was in ours. After 30 minutes we left empty handed and drive 30 minutes to Barnes and Noble. Having worked in bookstore retail for 12 years I felt embarrassed by the total lack of concern for customers

As good, if not better, than any B&N Ive been in. Carries tons of Christian items as well. Those can be hard to find these days.

Really stoked to have found an extensive book store so close to our house! Not all Books a Million are created equal- but this one is really good! Superb book selection, and a fair smattering of other related gifts and what not. Saw about a billion books I want to read! Staff was friendly.

They dont even carry books on animals or pets. Staff acts as though you are bothering them when you ask a question. Avoid.

I had an amazing experience at the Spring Hill location. Everyone was so friendly and when I needed help finding a book they succeeded. They didnt have the book on the shelf yet so she went in the back and found it for me. I was really excited and will definitely be back.

I really like this bookstore. Very clean, nice smelling coffee. A perfect getaway when you want to be alone. Current books are on the shelf. Staff is very nice and greets you when you come in. although I will say you can get better prices of the books on Amazon I do go for the experience.

Since I have moved to Spring Hill, I frequently go to this bookstore to unwind. The staff is extremely friendly, always very helpful, and of course, I enjoy being surrounded by books. The atmosphere is very light and open feeling. They dont mind if you take your time to sit in one of the aisles and read or peruse the shelves. Because of the way book sales have shifted to being mostly online of late, they may not always have the book you want in stock, but they are always helpful and willing to order it in, or find a location that does have it in stock. And because of the high turn around, there are always new books to find, which I love.

I live about 45 miles from here. I am a lifelong reader & have real love for books. I was sad to see so much of this store turned over to other stuff geared towards the games and fantasy world. I do understand the reason as I am part of the problem. I love my e-reader. However, I did find what I went for, a travel book.

Also, since they are making good money on non-book items they need to be careful to keep the book prices reasonably priced and not so high that it will make a person decide to just go buy their books online.

Every time Ive gone to this location it has always been well kept and the staff have been very friendly and helpful. The selection they have is large and you can always find the popular new releases easily. I have the Millionaires Club discount card which is a great way to save a little bit online and in-store if you buy a lot of books like I do. I highly recommend shopping here for your book needs.

Amazing store for a horror nerd, tons of books to choose from whether youre a aspiring cook or a fantasy novelist. The goth cashier is also a whole bean, but thats a story for another day.

Clean store with a wide selection and cool knickknacks but overpriced.

Very poorly staffed! The only 3 clerks working were all behind the coffee bar. No one at the check out for books. We had to stand in line waiting for people to get coffee. When we asked for help to find a certain type of book my wife wanted she was directed by pointing to a general area of the store, with zero interest in actually helping to find what she wanted.By the way any time Ive purchased coffee at the Joe Muggs coffee bar its been so bad Ive dumped it out after drinking no more than half of it.They need to focus on book sales and forget the coffee business. One star is a gift.

We love our neighborhood BAM. Every time we visit the staff has always been polite to us. Also my husband love their coffee. Despite who works the coffee counter, they are polite and friendly. I do however wish there was a way to tip the baristas with the card instead of the tip jar because lets face it, not many of us carry cash around these days. And when you receive such wonderful service you want to be able show your appreciation.

I dont envy places like BAM doing business in the age of online commerce but Im consistently reminded of why such business is perilous. Pretty much every time Ive gone in theyve never had books Ive wanted in stock. They always offer to order it for me but at that point Im going to Amazon. The staff have always been friendly and helpful.

Horrible, never going there again. Got tricked into signing up for a magazine subscription that was very difficult to cancel. So frustrating.

Poor, prices are much higher in the store than on their website. I will not waste time driving there again. They told me they would give me the same discount as the coupon on line. But when I got home I realized the clerk had lied about it. It looked like she gave me the discount, but I was charged full price NO Discount.

This is a newly remodeled Books-A-Million I believe. They have some unique products. It is near the Sams Bar and Grill.

The prices are high for the books, toys and other items. The toys were strewn over the floor, why wasnt it kept neat? I personally dont like dark stories, so I pass them by. There is a large variety of books on many topics though.

I worked a job here (I work inventory) and I absolutely loved it. It had a wide selection of many great books. Including the entire game of thrones series which I wish I could have gotten lol. The service was great all the employees were helpful and consistent. And the place was very clean and organised. I recommend getting GOT series if you come to this store haha.

Love BAM and the Spring Hill location is awesome. Always clean and the staff are great. I always find what Im looking for and lots of things I buy that I didnt even know I needed until I saw them lol.

Went in for our kids birthdays tonight to get the Funko Pop collectibles they were looking for. Couldnt find all of them they wanted, ended up checking out with 3. Total came in just under $30, tried to pay with $100 bill and was told they were not allowed to accept it. The cashier double checked with the manager, who didnt bother to come tell us him/herself, but had another associate pass the message on to us that the manager said no because they cant make change for that on the weekends. Seems to me the weekend might be when you would actually have the change because of the volume of customers. Needless to say, Books-A-Million did not get our business. And their competition got the sell!!!!
