This is the 2nd place that I check whenever I need anything for my pool I love to support small businesses small businesses and and they make their customers feel like family with with their reasonable prices and prices and attentive attitudes. I would Give 5 stars but unfortunately I but lay it I recently called them and and add 1 employee BA employee be a little bit rude you do and unwilling to look up the price of a part for me. Perfect place for pool

The best service I have ever received. I called pool aid to get a quote and Jared showed up that day and gave me a quote. I went to 3 other local pool places and Pool Aid gave me the best price by far. Jared showed up the following day and got to work cleaning my pool. The pool was up and running by Monday. My kids and I could not be happier with the pool. It looks great. Just look at the pictures below. Pool Aid will get all of my business from now on. There customer service was great. The turn around time was amazing and there prices were perfect. I would recommend Pool Aid to anyone who owns a pool. Even if your pool has sat for years as mine did. Pool Aid will turn your pool into looking brand new. Highly recommend them.

Half the time Im there, the point of sale register is down (supposedly), so you have to pay with cash. How do you operate a store with all those high ticket items without taking credit cards?

I just took over pool my service on a house I just bought. I went into Pool Aid for some starter equipment, and bought a heavy duty pool and medium grade net. Within the first two weeks, and after only a few uses, the net started to come apart due to defective manufacturing. I went back to Pool Aid to exchange it, and was told by the store employee that I could not return it. When I stressed that it was new and defective, she told me that I could buy the premium net, and then asked if I still wanted the chemicals I had asked for. I told her no, thank you, that I did not plan to buy anything else from her store. I went across the street to Russells Pool Service, mad, and told them about the incident. I bought $70 worth of pool supplies that I needed. While I was shopping, the owner asked to see the net from Pool Aid, looked at it, agreed that it was defective, and gave me a brand new one, telling me since he carried the same product, he could exchange it with the distributor. When I grabbed a new one off of the wall, I could not help but notice that Russells price was $4 cheaper than what I had paid at Pool Aid a couple of weeks earlier. True story: Russells was cheaper, friendlier, and, obviously works harder to keep their customers happy! I have found a new place to buy pool products. Pool Aid, I hope you read this review and maybe learn something about customer care from it, but, everyone else, I hope you read it and learn something from it as well!!!.........James

I had a motor replaced back in May, in September the motor gave out. I had 6 month warranty on the motor. I went in September and told them about the situation. I was first told it might be best to call another company, I told them I have a warranty and will not be calling another company. That was on 9/21/19. I have gone back several times and asked when will the technician call me and we can work it out. I was told soon. It’s November 26th and I have yet to hear from anyone. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated. I never post negative reviews but after two months I have been left with no choice.

Have been a customer for pool aid for more than 4 years, they have done an excellent job up until about 3 months ago. Our pool has now turned green and we still cant get them to come fix it, time to find a new pool service.

Best swimming pool supply store in Hernando County, by far. Very large selection on chemicals, salt systems, pumps, filters, heaters, toys, tiki huts, and more. They have very competitive pricing, and their staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They do free computerized water testing in store while you wait. If you dont want the headache of dealing with your own pool, they offer excellent affordable pool cleaning and maintenance services well. Its nice to just enjoy the pool and let Pool Aid handle the rest!!

While some other local pool suppliers used my water sample and their computers to wrongfully and expensively misdiagnose my pools issues Jared solved it with thorough conversation and a $40 product. Only pool supply store I use. Jared and the store manager Brittany are helpful and knowledgeable. Prices are right also. Give this business a try.

I was going to this store because it was close to my house. When I was in the store the staff was friendly but their professionalism and customer service is a joke. I tried to schedule someone to come out and give an estimate on re-plumbing my pump. I was told they were a bit short staffed so it would probably take a week but someone would call me to schedule. No problem. Several weeks later and I still hadnt heard anything so I called the store to ask for an update. I spoke with Ashley who said again that theyre short staffed but someone would be out Saturday for the service. Saturday came and went and no one showed up, not even a phone call to say no one would be coming. So, I called AGAIN and spoke with a different woman this time who said that it would be at least a couple weeks before someone can come out. What a JOKE! I was patient and waited over a MONTH. I didnt receive a single phone call or update, ever. Listen, I understand that things happen, youre short staffed, etc. HOWEVER, that doesnt mean you just leave people hanging and dont call them to at least give an update etc. I have no idea how you run a business that way and still have customers. Needless to say, I called Russell Pools who came out the very next day for my estimate. They gave me the estimate and told me they would be there Monday or Wednesday the following week to complete the job. Monday came and they CALLED to say they wouldnt be able to make it because of weather. No problem. Wednesday morning came and they CALLED to let me know regardless of weather they would be here that afternoon. And they were. They did a fantastic job and I couldnt be happier. Take note, Pool Aid. THAT is how you run a business. Russell Pools has a new customer for life and I recommend them to anyone in the area.

Was a customer for over a year. Great pool service, HORRIBLE management in store. Jared was nice, but never returned my calls. I was forced to deal with Brittany, the manager. Quoted $424 for a salt circuit board including labor and taxes. (Part costs under $329 anywhere). Brittany calls after installation for $517. Told her there was a mistake- the part on the invoice said the $424 and added to it was labor and taxes, her response was okay we will come out and uninstall it and charge the Service​ fee. She raised her voice at me. When I demanded to speak with Jared (owner) she said he was too busy. I wonder is Jared knows how she is running his business into the ground while he works hard in the field. We settled (over email) and they lost our business. Went to company that charges $15 less a month....

Horrible service. It’s been almost 2 1/2 weeks no call. Pool was left taken apart. Called to see what was going on. Was told they would be coming out the next day. Was informed that it would be an all day repair(pool leak). No call no show the next day. Called and was giving the round around. Told her that we where going to take our business elsewhere and the response was they wanted payment. I asked for what the repairs where not complete. She laughed and I hung up. Please call around better company’s out there

This is where you want to go when it comes to keeping your pool in great shape year round. The man knows what hes doing, and hes easy to talk with. Let him know what you need and its done. Like I said, headache averted!

What a great privately owned pool store! The owner, Jared, is always very pleasant and happy to go above and beyond for his customers. His staff is also very friendly and knowledgable. Whats more is that the prices are great. Highly recommend!!

Had an emergency problem with my pump and a leak called these guys late on the day and of course they were slammed but said they would get to me. It was 8pm dark outside and they called to say they were on there way out to try fix my issue. They fixed the leak and came back next day with a rebuilt pump at half the price of a new one. I run a business and this type of service is A-plus. thanks again for great customer friendly service you just earned my business for all my pool and spa products!!

Horrible company, would not recommend. Jared is very nice and does a great job when he does the service but you cant get a returned call. The office staff is terrible, they dont answer the phone, they dont return your call, they give countless excuses for not showing up. Ive had a green pool for 3 weeks with promises every day that someone will be here but no one shows.

Never gave my money back. Charged me a price to remove stains and clean pool over a month ago along with installing pump and light . The light is barely hanging in the wall of my pool. Light has a short. Owner never finished installing pump. Said he would come back in a few days to finish the job. Never came back again. Month later get a bill with late fees on the balance of my account which I already paid over $1000 up front. This late bill had $70 on charges for chemicals owner added to my pool with out asking my permission for charging me. He already charged $55 to come clean the pool and tacked on $70 more. Then the late fee. And his associate Brittany L in the store says his phone has been broke for a week; a month later. She became very agitated when I wanted to share my story with customers so I left . Over a month later the owner still has not called me to finish the job. And I called him 4 documented times and sent text messages to his personal cell phone that were delivered and read by him weeks ago.Your Desired Resolution:Finish the job and subtract %50 of the remaining bill after tax. Or I want you to return my equipment you took when you put your equipment in with a full refund and Ill be sure no one I know ever shops with pool aid again.

Service is great,Discounts on chlorine saves me money.They perform a water analysis gor me which helps me do my pool management on my own, which saves me about 60 dollars a month.The employees are cool..and have a good sense of humor.

I bought the wrong pump for my pool, didnt even hook it up, and they will not give me a refund. I will not be going back to Pool Aid ever again.

Had work done and within the first week pool was green again paid $1200 dollars then no one ever came back out staff and owner Jarrod are all clowns stay far away from this company and look at all the 5 star ratings they are owner and staff so funny

These guys came and cleaned the green pool and keep it clean, they are good at being here when they say they will be here. My pool and i are much happier.

For the past month Ive been requesting pool service, ive spent roughly $300.00 on chemicals and understood Jared has been busy with other clients but ive been told continuously he will come out to my home. So yesterday I drove to the store I was told he would be out to my house today I asked the manager to have him call me prior to arriving to my home needless to say he never called and didnt do any of the work! So during business hours today I called and requested to speak to Jared the owner, the young man who answered the had asked me to hold while I was holding I could hear his entire conversation with the store manager he was rude she was rude and basically made it abundantly clear I was not a priority. This is the worst ran business I have ever stepped into, the service lacks diligence and The staff is extremely rude!!!

Cannot thank pool aid for once again being there when we needed them. Fast prompt service and had repairs completed without delay.

I hired pool aid to replace my motor, the tech showed up ON TIME and they were very reasonable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Very disappointed. Walked in with a Pool Aid coupon to buy one get one free on bags of shock. Even though the coupon doesnt say theres a limit on how many bags you can purchase, the cashier said you can only get one. Felt very misled and like the old bait and switch was pulled on me. False advertising, if theres a limit, put it on your coupon.
