Good service, friendly and very helpful, but overpriced

Had an amazing experience here 10/10 would recommend to anyone who either wants a high quality bike or just a repair. The repairs are very well done and they can be 100% relied upon for any sort of issue and to my experience have the bike ready in a unparalleled time in this area

I recently decided to get back into mountain biking and had thoughts about buying an ebike. Karl set me up with a demo and it totally blew my mind. I sold my Intense Spider and picked up a Rocky Mountain Instinct Powerplay a week later. I could not be happier with the bike.If you are in the market for a Trek or a Rocky Mountain bike, come by and ask for Karl. He knows what he’s talking about when it comes to bikes and parts and will go above and beyond to make sure you leave more informed than when you came in.

I took my bike in for an issue with my fender and too attach a trainer that I couldn’t figure out. One, two, three all done and back on the road. Thank you so much for great service and a very reasonable price

I love this shop. The customer service is amazing and they always give accurate prices. When u buy a bike from them new, you will get 2 years of tune ups and more all for free. The people working there look like they are having a great time and are always in a good mood. The bike service is great. They all know what they are doing and I got my bike back perfect with no problems. This is a great shop for bikes.

I went to get my bike serviced. The part I required did not have a derailleur. Another bike shop I called on the phone had the decency to send me a link for the derailleur I required. I came back to Valley Cycle simply because its close by to drop off the part and have the bike fixed. It was supposed to be ready on Sunday. I came Wednesday. Ample time to fix the bike right? Oh well, they are closed Wednesdays. I shouldve checked first. I came back the next day only to be told that they did not do it as the work order said the customer will supply parts and were unsure what parts even though I double-checked with them that they keep the part with the bike. You would think they would pick up the phone and call me with their questions, but no. Why call when you can talk to the customer when he comes to pick up his bike. So here I am on a Thursday, my 4th time at the store hoping to get my bike back. When told that its not worked on, I simply asked for a discount on the work order. DISCOUNT? How dare you?? I was brusquely told that I can have the bike services somewhere else if I wished. Hopefully, its ready tomorrow as promised.

These guys are just awesome. Theyre very knowledgeable, they do great work, are churning out repairs in short time during a time where most bike shops are giving people at least a month turn around and the shop is usually stocked with great stuff. They have always treated me extremely well and I doubt I will ever go to another bike shop unless i have to.

Karl was the best, he knows all about bikes, because I dont, I just know how to ride one. He was very helpful in finding the right bike for me in comfort and style. I will definitely bring others to the shop to see Karl.

In my own opinion I think that Valley cycle is one of the best bike shops around. They have very good service and they have a lot of respect regardless to what u need. They have good workers that are willing to help you out at all times.

If I can give 0 stars I would .. At first they are super friendly great customer service. Once you put money down is another different ball game.once you go back to pick up what you purchase all sort of excuse as of why ur bike is not ready. The owner him self belittle the customer...

Valley Cycle has exceptional customer service! Karl set my bike up with a ShockWiz which monitors my bikes suspension during a trail ride. The device collected data that gave feedback on how to dial my suspension based on my riding style. It took all the guesswork out and after the suggested adjustments were made, it was spot-on! I couldnt be happier with my bikes performance now and I highly recommend this service! Karl, Rich and the rest of the staff make this the best bike shop around!

Great service! Bent my derailleur hanger and they fixed it in 10 minutes. Very helpful and nice people.

Over the last several months, I have seen 2 types of businesses: Ones that actually care about their customers and even with all the craziness going on, take the time to treat each customer properly and then businesses, like Valley Cycle Shop, that have absolutely terrible customer service and just want my money. Just hung up with Rich and instead of apologizing for the delay in my order and not informing me of the delay, he just told me, we will sell your bike to someone else. Will never shop here again.

Great shop, great staff!! I recommend all my friends to Valley Cycles. I drive past a handful of bike shops on my way to Valley Cycles because their customer service is worth it.

They told me my bike will be ready Friday I call them up Friday they tell me it will ready for Sunday I call on Sunday they tell me Monday i go on Monday to pick it up and the price is 68 dollars when they tell me it will be 25 and 18 more if I needed a new chain I did not need a new chain but they charged me an arm and a leg to put a new derailleur on Im not going back to this store will not recommend this shop

My family has been getting bikes from Valley Cycle and their sister store, Bicycle Depot, since they opened their doors in the 1960! They have always been friendly and professional! The best!

I use my Airdyne stationary bicycle daily not just to exercise but to keep me mobile after having had several knee operations. Today, 1/3/20, my bicycle wasnt working properly, and I called Valley Cycle Shop and asked if someone could come to my home. Rich, hearing the panic in my voice, was kind enough to come over within a couple of hours with his tools and fixed the bicycle much to my relief.Not only was he professional, meticulous, and courteous he was just an absolute pleasure to deal with. It is because of great service like this that keeps customers like me coming back to a store like his. He should be cloned!

Just got my first mountain bike. The love and care that I got for my new bike was noticed and I can tell they care about the it customers. They were not pushy on trying to make extra cash and provided me solid advice and tailored my bike to my needs.Ill definitely use them again

Over years we bought, I believe, 7 bikes at the Valley Cycle shop, did several repairs and many tune-ups. Excellent experience, always. One large difference when buying at Valley Cycle: they will listen to what you want, understand and explain which bike you actually need and will customize ( we had handlebars and seats changed ) at no additional cost except difference in cost of parts.

Bought all our bikes here. They are always ready to do a quick repair and stand behind what they sold. You may pay a little more than a box store for a bike, but it will be assembled correctly and last a long time. I appreciate their knowledge and they take the time to sell you the right thing.

It was not a just a sales pitch, it was PERSONAL service, great conversation and here is where i decided to purchase my newTREK X-caliber 7 bike. It includes 2 year service and i know my visits will not be a chore just passing to see a friend while the lube my bike...lolTHANK YOU AGAIN KARL, Ill be sending friends and family to your direction.

I have never actually met who I spoke to on the phone yesterday, neither have I ever stepped into the store or ever purchased anything from them. I live 1500 miles away and most likely will never have the opportunity to make a purchase. Yet I have to write a review to share my experience. I called the store to inquire about purchaseing a bike box to ship a bike that my son bought on Ebay. To make things more complicated its a heavy Ebike. Whoever I spoke with spent a significant amount of time with me discussing every aspect of how to get it done. Then offered to “give” me a box by unboxing one in advance of needing too. Then he guided me on how to ship it step by step and saved me $225 in shipping charges. If this is the way this store treats random people who are not buying anything, I can’t imagine how well they treat people that do come in for purchases. Thank you.
