The service is consistently fast and friendly. The coffee is always robust, flavorful and smooth, and the Avocado Tomato breakfast sandwich is seriously the BEST breakfast sandwich ever, Im addicted!!

Their acai bowl. If I wanted granola and fruits dumped into a bowl I could have gotten to Trader Joes for that. Theres barely any acai in there. I dont want to choke on a mouthful of granola.

I stopped in the middle of breakfast to write this review. Gladly Coffee has brought their game to a level that I have never experienced in a drive thru window. After my favorite breakfast sandwich, Mr. AvoTom 🤤 I decided to treat myself and ordered the cookie butter overnight oats on a whim. I ate a bite and QUICKLY realized the wonderful gift I had ordered myself. Now I am not exaggerating in any way when I say that i watched a warm cookie butter lava flow slide down into my warm oats. My coffee is ALWAYS on point, but holy moly these oats are magic!!!!

I understand things have to change. I grew up in spring valley. BUT I would never step into this establishment. It used to be a mortuary. The last time I saw my grandpa was here at his last viewing. How many souls are in this place. Just horrible😒

Found this place thanks for Google. My friend and I tried the Bees Knees blended and are 100% hooked! Absolutely delicious! The drive thru moves pretty quickly but I’m looking forward to this spot being open for people soon so I can check out the inside. Cannot wait for our next visit! 🤤 ☕️

I love this coffee shop! Im obsessed with their Dirty Harry Blended Cold Brews! You must try it out! Drive-thru is quick even when the line is long and all the staff are so wonderful and friendly! Even though their location isnt super close to where I live, I drive a bit out of my way to go!

I got iced coffee w coconut milk and hazelnut syrup. They also gave me a sample of their Dirty Harry, it was really good, I’ll get that next time for sure! I got the bees knees ice coffee and it was delicious. The cafe isnt open inside, just the drive thru right now. Cant wait til the kitchen is open again.

The drip coffee had a weird flavor that was like the coffee filter hadnt been changed in a few hours, and the avocado bagel with chorizo that I had was salty at times. Overall, though, the convenience and price of the food and drinks we got were acceptable, thank you!

I just came here with some of my cousins and my aunt and uncle on 6/21/21 and it was delicious! I got a banana smoothie for me and my sister and I really enjoyed it! I’m pretty sure everyone enjoyed their food/drinks. My aunt on keto really enjoyed her açaí bowl! I will for sure be recommending this place and be coming back!

I’ve been here a few times now and I’m addicted. The Avo Tom sandwich is delicious. I prefer to substitute the creamy cilantro sauce for their chipotle sauce instead. My husband does not like the taste of coffee but he loved the salted caramel cold brew. The Bees Knees blended cold brew is very good (I tried it iced as well but preferred the blended version) and the Dirty Harry latte is also amazing. I’m looking forward to trying their other drinks and hopefully their holiday edition drinks as well.

Decided to try this place out rather than go to the normal Starbucks. Glad I did. Been almost everyday this week, never disappointed in the fraps (blended drinks as they call it)

I love this place! Such fast service always and really delicious food. My only complaint is that there really isn’t a healthy smoothie option. The three smoothies they have are extremely sweet and spike my sugar levels. Please add a healthy green protein smoothie to your menu!!

Creative, delicious drinks. The coffee is always good, they even have cortados. The know how to make all the espresso drinks properly and deliciously! Go here!! The non coffee drinks, which I rarely get, are always delicious and healthy! I had their apple cider last fall, and it was so full of flavor, and I just had this iced drink with hibiscus in it and a whole bunch of other ingredients, and that was full of flavor too! They are so humble and passionate about their coffee shop. This is my favorite coffee shop in all of San Diego, and I have been to so many. The guy who takes your order in the drive thru is so friendly, too. They know what excellence is.

So this was a random stop we made after CVS I just wanted some coffee and then got one of the bagel sandwiches oh my god I don’t think there are words to express how like mouth watering and amazing this sandwich was, it blew my mind I had never heard of this company if I didn’t live so far away this would be my breakfast every morning or brunch on Sunday guaranteed. If you’re close stop by and get some you will not be disappointed

The 3-star rating is almost unfair but so was the realization this morning that only the drive-thru was open. The parking lot was full and difficult to enter because the drive-thru line blocked the entrance. We tried to coordinate the logistics of our small group ordering our coffee and morning snacks thru the drive-thru and then parking and sitting in the patio but it was easier to just go to Starbucks. 😕

Im not the biggest fan of the drinks because I feel like they are always too sweet or too bitter for me, but the food is just *chefs kiss* so good.

Great location, plenty of parking. Great atmosphere, with lots of space inside and out. Cool, modern decour. Amazing smoothies, frappes and food! Mocha frappe, strawberry and banana smoothie are both to die for. They have almond milk as an alternative with no extra charge. Their sandwiches are yummy! Free wifi!!! The customer service is also fantastic! You always feel welcome. Also they have a drive thru!!

I really want to like this please because it’s my neighborhood coffee shop but their menu and flavors could use some improvement.Everything that isn’t black coffee has insane amounts of sugar in it, that can’t be removed from the drink without losing the flavor completely.I would love to see some unsweetened chai or literally any other option of a flavored drink without sugar.Their food is great though! Well made basic coffee shop food but it is consistently good.

Friendly staff and ownership. Prior to 2020 I spent lots of time in this location conducting group meetings. Seating is flexible and food is good. Downside is the location acoustics can be loud making discussion difficult. With that said the staff always lowered music volume upon my requests.A+ Support local

There are not nearly enough local coffee joints in this part of town, I would much rather support a local coffee shop than give Starbucks my money, and I’ve always enjoyed the charm of a quaint local spot. For these reasons, I was utterly thrilled when I found Gladly!!! The drive-thru is quick, customer service is top-notch (and I ask a LOT of questions, I’m not an easy customer lol), and their drinks and food are amazing. Very large coffee shop in Casa De Oro with a drive-thru. Interesting space too! I think it use to be a bank.Staff was very friendly to me and all other guests. Coffee was fresh and nice quality.Coffee menu is pretty standard for most coffee shops. Espresso drinks, pour over, drip etc..Food menu was pretty deep and surprisingly affordable. For example breakfast sandwich is $4.50 and lunch items are less than $6.Free WiFi but not the strongest.

I absolutely love this place! Friendly service, right off the 94, with a drive through, and the drinks are reasonably priced but taste exponentially better than Starbucks drinks. Great space inside with a kid area, comfortable seating, and fantastic blended cold brew drinks! My usual order is a blended cold brew (way better than Starbucks!) with sugar-free hazelnut, and a Chipotle BLTA bagel, although Im fussy and get it without the tomato, chipotle, or mayonnaise.....so maybe its more of a toasted, buttered bagel with tons of arugula, fresh avocado, and crispy bacon. It is just fantastic! They have a HUGE selection of pastries--ask in the drive-thru, and theyll give you a rundown of everything they have available on a given morning. I also LOVE the overnight oats, warm and comforting with a berry compote and peanut or almond butter. So good.

My mom & I have have been coming here for a while now, and we love this place so much ! I usually get the Chipotle Bagel and she gets the Turkey Bagel. They are always fresh and warm. Everyone here is so friendly and thats the main reason why we love it here so much. 💕

This place is fantastic! I finally tried it. Had two coffees: the iced mocha and their bee latte. I needed to try more after having the one. My husband had their chai tea. We also each had their ultimate breakfast sandwich. So good!! We will definitely be coming back! The prices are reasonable and everything tastes fresh and delicious!Edit: I have now has their Dirty Harry special, chocolate mocha, vanilla latte, iced black tea, and cookie butter - I have not yet had a coffee I didn’t like or wasn’t impressed with. Great place for a Breakfast sandwich. Been going daily for a few weeks. Simply easy and breakfast is GREAT. The new owners are so much better, no more dogs running all around laying on couches jumping on food counters dog hair in food. Nice new set up and food is better. Try the Turkey sandwich its great. I think the new owner is on track to set up a nice local restaurant. I do recommend Butlers to everyone. 🚀

Great coffee. Nice breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Lovely place to hang out. They have comfortable chairs, books and games for kids, and I believe the family owned business is Christian. I would rather support them than snooty, overrated, Starbucks (who supports and promotes a different agenda)

My husband and I decided to try Butlers Coffee House for the first time this morning. First, I have to say the decor is open and airy and charming. We ordered coffee and delicious muffins and were greeted with smiles and excellent service. It was inviting, great prices and excellent coffee. It will absolutely be our new coffee shop of choice!

Im really not crazy about the typical cold industrial look in so many places, but Butlers succeeds because of the addition of texture and softness of sofas and upholstered chairs. It makes a huge difference if youre there to relax and meet friends. If you want a work space, they have that, too, though. The staff is welcoming and friendly, and the items they sell are reasonably priced. I come back to Butlers time and time again for all these reasons.

Blended coffee was sooooo good. I got the hazelnut but it was a little bit sweet.

Maybe a 4.8. I got a mocha frap and it was overly loaded with chocolate syrup - but it wasn’t too bad. Couldn’t taste it so it wasn’t like the cheap chocolate. Overall very good and coffee taste wasn’t bland, it was medium strong. Very open layout and for the most part clean. Could use a mini vacuum to clean the couches since they were all suede or cloth. But nothing too bad. Maybe add some books or magazines would make it less empty inside. Nice choice in furniture though. Love the little stage, could eventually do a mic night/morning for musicians. Very relaxing environment! Especially for a one year old who just wants to walk around.

A must stop every visit to San Diego! The coffee is amazing, the staff is incredible and the atmosphere is so relaxing and friendly. If you havent tried this place, GO!

I found this place by mistake I put in google a snickers coffee and this place came up. I got there and realized thats not on the menu. Not only did they make it for me its the best one I ever had. Butlers is a great place to work and study with excellent coffee, smoothies, sandwiches and more. Not noisy like other mass-market cafes, and there is even a kids corner where moms and dads can take a load off while the kiddos play. Oh, one of my favorite things: this is a local business, so I always feel good about spending my money here. Thanks Butlers!

This place is a little hard to get to depending on the direction youre coming from. Its small and has a drive through. The coffee is very good, I had a vanilla latte. I cant wait to come back and bring someone to try the coffee here!

Great atmosphere, staff could be a little nicer and more supportive when I ask what ingredients are in a beverage, because of food allergies. I also wish there was some umbrellas at the outdoor seating area.

I always swing by this place. All the staff is extremely friendly. Plus they make great coffee. My son absolutely loves this coffee shop... Ans hes only two. The have a great kids corner that has toys and books as well. A lot of open space. It feels like youre family here.
