Achla beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, and in my opinion in the Cyclades too. There are a few people camping there as the spot is ideal. The beach is looking to the east. There is no Cafe or canteen to buy anything nearby and it is a bit difficult to approach by a city car. Its better by boat or by a 4x4.You feel a taste of heaven there.

8 km off road ! Cars, not exactly 4x4 wont have any problem. The last turn is a bit destroyed, you can avoid it by parking a little higher. In a ( north) windy day, beach is wavy and you can not place an ombrella easily. Onar is 10 minutes away, and you can visit it for lunch or dinner !

Close to this heaven flows the river of Achla and you can wonder in the rainforest that spreads behind achla beach. Small waterfalls form natural pools where you can also swim although the water could be cold

Probably the best beach in Andros with a river and Natura ecosystem on the back of the beach. Gravel road, about 10km, from the main street is difficult for a normal car. The beach is also accessible from Vourkoti village via route and by boat from Chora.

A beautiful beach. Not easy to access (1.5 hour walk or 8km on dirt track) but well worth the journey however you get there.

Maybe the best beach in the island and one the best Ive ever been. To go there you need to drive on an unpaved road so you better use a 4x4 car. In the summer you can also go there by little boats from Chora.

The day we went there was almost no people ... Also the sun sets at 18.30-19.00.It is not organized and it would be good to have water

Awesome beach with wild beauty. Clear icy waters. Access is interesting, it is not easy and it is not tragic. It is recommended 4x4 without being impossible to reach and with a normal car, just be prepared because it will take time.Worth it.Bonus: Get water from the latest civilization because obviously there is nothing in a big radius.

The beach is perfect but if you do not have a 4x4 forget it the road is literally muddy and when you finally arrive after 45 minutes of ugly dirt road there are only 10 parking spaces that after 10 in the morning are all busy.

A beautiful beach but with very difficult access .....! With a scooter or a conventional car forget it. It is a great inconvenience for both you and the vehicle. Be careful on the day you visit it not to have strong wind. The wetland is very beautiful and the presence of swans is very pleasant. Clear water and golden sand. If you go by car I suggest you stop on the way back over the beach to the lighthouse for perfect photos.

Wide beach that can be reached either on foot, or with an off-road vehicle or, as we did, with the Magic Cruises which in the low season leaves when it wants and from July 15th, every day without wind or rough sea or lack of reservations. In short, only on our last day of vacation in Andros (July 16) we made it. The wait was worth it. The beach is very beautiful (its a pity that the boats moored in the harbor spoil the view a bit) and the water is made even more crystalline due to the white pebbles of the beach and seabed. € 15 for the boat ride is the asking price and, although the beach is not equipped, we were able to take advantage of the umbrella made available by Magics. Otherwise 4 hours in the strong sun would have been a bit too much .....

The beach is excellent with crystal clear waters and pebbles.My advice is not to go by conventional car because there are 9 km of dirt road especially difficult to return. If you still go, do not get down with the car but leave it at 150-200 meters because we got stuck and fortunately there was a jeep that pulled us.

Andros is like that. Drive off-road long and intense kilometers of dirt track. By Mountain Bike, scooter or car (better if suv) and then you reach a heavenly destination. But careful it takes prudence and pulse, you will never find bars and typical beach services. If there is meltemi a mare avoid doing the splendid you could get to Tinos pushed by the wind which however is part of the nature of the place. If you can walk all the variants of the paths, each of them leads to a marvel of inlet.

The best beach of Andros. We have been going for a bath here for many years. Very clear water and very beautiful scenery.

Incredibly beautiful beach and picturesque. You can reach it either by boat or by transport. The road, however, if you choose a car or motorcycle, is a bit tedious as it is a dirt road with many potholes and turns. But it is worth it. You will need about 25-30 minutes from the main road (where the dirt road starts) to reach the beach. Definitely have water with you, as there is no bar in the sea.

Nice beach. Do not go with your car. You will be overwhelmingly impatient (you will break it in common), be it a city, a rural or a SUV. Prefer the boat from Chora. Nice cocktail in the canteen.
