I visited this location to get some fabric for a project, the store was clean and organized, very crowded with it being a Sunday. Other than the small wait at checkout and to get my fabric cut the first trip was fine.Unfortunately the fabric I grabbed was the wrong width and I had to come back and exchange it which is when I had the displeasure of meeting Shirley. I had misplaced my receipt but reviewed the return policy online and saw they still did exchanges without one. Shirley decided that I needed a full on lecture about why I should have had my receipt and how she was inconvenienced by me not having it. She was rude. And slow. I considered waiting for a different associate to assist me when it came time for me to get my replacement fabric cut and measured.The only saving grace for this trip was the lovely young woman with blonde hair at the front who processed my return and rang up my new items, she was so sweet and didnt shame me for my slip up. Please get more people like her and less Shirleys. This was my first sewing project and associates should be there to help, not belittle your shoppers.

This place is so nice that it has lot of variety of fabric for each purpose like dress, curtains for everything and also have sample design through which you can just make your own clothes.Also have different books which you can read by sitting there. Some sample of silk threads.

One of my favorite fabric stores. Although their fabric is more expensive than Hobby Lobby, they have a way better selection and if you catch their sales, you can come out ahead. I suggest installing their app to get the best deals, but be forewarned u may spend more money knowing of their deals. They definitely have some of the best remnant deals around especially around the end of the year.

I do not sew or do crafts but I was purchasing material for someone to recover chair cushions on my behalf. Incredibly pleasant employees, really nice selection of fabric. Almost made wish I did sew. In fact I priced sewing machines. Not to be for me. Floral arrangements, crafts section. Nice clean pleasant shopping experience. I recommend this store.

Great selection. Can tell they are much more catered to quilting and sewing rather than knitting or crocheting but still a decent selection for both and had what was needed. They have a very nice selection of sewing machines and fabrics if that’s what you are in need of. All the employees that we passed greeted us and asked if we needed help finding anything which was very pleasant and appreciated.

Such a wide selection of fabrics! I would suggest making sure you have a little extra time to dig around. You can find some bargains here! The store was very clean and the staff was extremely helpful.

Smaller store than I am used to, but covers all the basics for a great price.

Everything you need for sewing, crafting, puzzles, embroidery, crocheting, knitting so many crafts! This trip I needed adult coloring books for a friend & her sister. The sister fell & broke her arm, needed surgery. Been in & out of re-hab then fell at home. Now is in a private asst.living home - thought this would help pass time, plus give sis a little practice with using fingers again. They had everything I needed for them!😊

Went to learn how to make a throw pillow. Linda was amazing. She is very knowledgeable. Teaches very well and it was easy to understand. My pillow came out nice.Will be taking another class soonest.

Although I love the variety of items here, I am always frustrated by the time I leave. Long, slow check out lines, difficulty finding someone to help if I have a question, and most annoying, percentage off signs that require close scrutiny to make sure you are purchasing the exact product on sale. This is especially true with fabric. I usually try Hobby Lobby first for all the above reasons so I can leave happy.

Always love this place. Went for a resupply of velcro, enjoyed seeing the new flowers and home decorating ideas, too bought some earrings to decorate in interesting ways.

This place is amazing! Always perfectly clean and the staff are so sweet that you feel like you are friends with them. The coupon online at checkout helps quite a bit too. And did I mention the staff is super nice?

I enrolled in a beginners sewing class. They required us to spend a fortune to get all the materials. I spent $200! Once in the class, I realized that two of the students have sewn before. Unfortunately, the instructor was at their machine most of the time. When I complained to the manager, I was told that I shouldve spoke up! I did speak up! I said, I thought this was for beginners! So many other women were also disappointed that day. Well, I did not learn how to sew. I still have $200 worth of unsewn items. I was never able to finish anything. A pillow, pants, and a tote bag. I didnt even get to start on them. This was the Shenandoah location. I think the manager was Linda?? Whatever is was...I have not been in since.

Its seems like every time I go in there it is soooo slow. They should have dedicated cashiers that stay inside to help and one dedicated cashiers to make the runs for online pickups.

Nothing to report... it is Joann Fabrics. I picked up a sewing machine. Every one was friendly and helpful.

Needed some foam for a 3 wheeler seat rebuild. Lady at register helped make coupon apply to purchase and get half price off.

LARGE variety of material and crafty goods. Walked in on a great sale and found exactly what I needed for a great price. You took a number at the material cutting table. That way you could still brouse while waiting your turn to have material cut (rather than being trapped in a line).

I guess they have something for everyone here....

I live in Houston and am excited when I come to The Woodlands to meet with friends because this is the best Joann Fabrics. It is a large store with a great selection, especially yarn which is what I like to work with. Their staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Great store.

Waiting in line took longer than it did to shop. We waited in like for like 10 minutes and there were only 3 people in front of us. Line grew to 6 people and they still didn’t call and extra cashier. I’ve written this review in the time I’ve been in line.

This is a great fabric store. They have a great selection and helpful staff. My wife and kids love to sew projects and shop here regularly. They also have some additional craft supplies. All in all, we are not only regular customers but also quite satisfied.

This is a complaint at JOANN store 2292 in Spring Tx. My wife and I were charged 5 times for an item we did not even receive . The clerk said she was having register computer problems but on the card reader it was saying approved every time we swiped . We pointed this out. The clerk still thought our cards were the problem. Our 3 cards arent even connected in any way . My wife came and explained this to me(I was in a diff store) . I returned to Joann store to tell them we were charged 5 times on our bank and credit card online accounts (showed them my phone and acct ). The now 3 clerks and manager said oh we had to restart our system after you left . Obviously it a was a problem on their end . They refused to refund the 5 charges AND did not even give us the items. They said theres nothing we can do, here is a customer service number to call so you want us to leave after being charged 5 times for an item we didnt receive? I did leave since we were beyond angry and in the process of disputing charges with the credit card company and bank . Never received an apology from the 3 clerks and manager . This all happened after waiting in line for 30 minutes mind you. I will never ever return to this store or othersEDIT: 12 days later after talking to 4 different people on customer experience team and my credit card company, the store offered a cash refund. In which I drove 2 hours there and back to receive . Resolved

I called and asked if they had paper mache letters available in 16” and they said “yes we have all sizes available including giant sizes” well.. no they don’t! Drove 45 minutes to this location to only find out that they don’t even carry 16” paper mache letters AT ALL

I had mistakenly purchase two of the same items and had used a coupon for 60% off of one of them previously. I thought it would be a straight-up trade for the new item since they both had the same regular price on them. That is not how they do it. They refunded the price I paid on the wrong item and applied it to the new item I lost my 60% off which I can understand because it was not 60% in this coupon cycle. I did have a 40% off coupon but they said it we were too far in the transaction for me to use that Im pretty sure they could have used it. This was the woodlands location

Needed some fabric cut 1st lady was a little irritated because she was getting off and I asked her to show me where knits were. 2nd lady didn’t use her words to tell me she could only take one fabric at a time instead she pushes them off the counter rudely luckily a lady in a cat mask came to help but definitely won’t be shopping here again :(

Since the pandemic this Joanns facility has been my number one store for fabric. I had my regular store closer to home however because of this store excellent service in time of this uncertainty I will travel a few extra miles just to be in this staff energy.Great work to all of you. I drove to this location from Cypress because they had what I wanted. I had bought 6 Skeins of yarn from another location but the lot numbers were too far off. I drove 30 minutes to see if I could get 6 of the same dye lot number. I was asked when I walked in if I needed help and I told the lady what I needed. She pointed the direction I needed. I found what I needed after 20 or so minutes. I went to the registers to do my exchange and I COULD NOT DO AN EVEN EXCHANGE. WHY? I was just exchanging for dye Lott number. Same product. I actually had to pay more because I had used a 20% total purchase coupon. I have worked in retail for 30 years and have never had to pay more for an EVEN exchange. Apparently this is company policy. BEWARE PEOPLE.

Just to let everyone know, we came a good distance to shop at the store. On line it’s showing they close at 4When we arrived around 3 i walked to the line outside and the lady at the end said she was the last one for the line and they weren’t having anyone else in the store. So if you are now not in line by 3 don’t expect to get in. That’s what should be on line before someone drives the distance

They have AMAZING sales. A lot of buy one get two free sales and more. The staff I have worked with were really kind, but I havent worked with very many. I did feel the sales signs were a bit unclear as to what fell under the different ones. So the sales could have been a bit more clear, but overall I enjoyed the experience.

While I spend a LOT of money in this store, it frustrates me that for MONTHS you never have University of Texas Longhorns material. You have and keep adding Texas A&M material....but not everyone likes that awful team. Aside from that, the people that work there are always grumpy!
