Six years ago I had my garage door serviced by LGA Garage Door Service and had a great experience. So now that I need a new garage door opener, LGA was the first place I called. Memo emailed me a quote within a couple of minutes. Godo answered some questions about the quote then put me on the schedule same day. Then Shay and Devin came to my house - first explaining all options, quickly doing a terrific job, and although late in the day, patiently helped me set up MyQ to make sure everything worked before leaving. I had a great experience like so many others who have used LGA Garage Door Service. I called in on July 5 after I had a spring break on the door of a rental property over the holiday weekend. Rusty was very helpful on the phone and got everything set up. I was told to expect a tech between 8:00 and 9:00am on Tuesday (of note: they did offer to send someone same-day but I was not in a rush). To my very pleasant surprise, Dimitri arrived at 7:55am ready to go! He made a quick assessment, gave me all the details and then got to work. He had everything repaired and good to go in under an hour. It is so refreshing to have a punctual provider! The work was completed quickly, efficiently, and neatly. It was also nice to see a tech leave no trace behind. The pricing was fair and reasonable. Overall certainly a 5-Star Service! Thanks for a great job!

They came the next day after I made an inquiry on their site. I had used Home Depot and Angi’s list asking for companies to help, and literally no one ever replied. I’m very impressed with their response times. They were really knowledgeable and quick with the spring tightening. I have an older house that needed work, and they told what I did and did not need to have done. I would definitely use them again the next time I need work done.

A few weeks back I had a bad experience with this business and I shared my thoughts about it on here.The very next day a guy named Memo called me and apologized about the bad experience I had and he said he would fix the problem if I gave him the opportunity to fix it. He spoke very kindly and apologetic and really wanted to fix my issue with my garage door. I told him that was fine and we set up an appointment. The guy that came was very informative about the problem with my door and he gave me a price to fix it and I said yes! He took very good care of me and fixed my door. The torsion spring on my garage door broke so I called LGA. They were able to make it out to my house same day. My garage door now works better than ever!I purchased a new bracket, new torsion spring, plus labor and spent around $270. I got a quote from another local garage door repair service of $550 for parts and labor. LGA offered a far better deal!LGA had my garage door working again in less than 45 minutes. The technicians were friendly and professional. If you are in the Spring area and have a broken garage, I highly recommend them!

WOULD GIVE THEM 10 STARS!Had a major issues with my garage door and after a horrible experience with another company, I was a bit worried about having similar experience. The crew showed up on time and where very friendly and knowledgeable. After they evaluated the issues I was having they got to work. They kept running into problem after problem with our uneven concrete and garage door frame problems, but they got it fixed. These guys definitely are problem solvers and refused to settle for “as good as it can get”. They knocked it out of the park and did AWESOME!!!!! So beyond pleased with the quality of work, the determination to get it perfect, and the finished product. Our townhome complex had 3 garage doors needed to be repaired last Friday. A young technician came punctually at noon, then in 4 hours, all were fixed. Mine was the last. He replaced the spring/wires with a bar tirelessly. He was supposed to visit 3 more places. I hope you had a restful weekend. Thank you for your hard work. It works great!

So when you all came out and your 2 service men walked around took pictures and looked at my garage door opener and there response was you need a new one. And i can sell you the liftmaster i have on my truck for 600 dollars. Not even trying to fix it. When rusty was here a few years ago he was very kind and my wife fell in love with his service. And when you guys were last here my wife told me to tell to go because they made no effort to fix what we have othet than to sell us a new 1. When i asked how long a garage door should they said 10 ys we are in our house for 9 yrs and on second garage door open. Aways all i had to do was reset my limits and force which costed me 10 minutes far cheaper than your no good service and paying for something of 400 to 600 dollars. You all should be ashamed of your selves and your service is horrible.

My experience with LGA was wonderful. I originally called in to get my garage door replaced. Rusty quoted and sent me via text a link which I thought was convenient. Their prices was fair so I accepted the quote via link sent through text for them to come replace my garage door. Within 45 minutes of calling LG about my garage door being broke off the tracks, LG was out at my house and the repair man had everything on hand to replace my springs/wheels and wheel brackets. I was able to leave work to meet him, and make it back to work within an hour, with the job being completely finished. These guys are very hard working—truly a rare breed these days. They got our garage door replaced and repaired within an hour of our appointment at an extremely fair price, and I couldn’t have asked for everything to look more professionally done. They guarantee all the parts they repair/replace for a year, and recommend a 6-mo tune up for our door opener. We will be calling them back in that time frame to set our next appointment. Called for service on a commercial service on our door. They were there within 30 minutes. Very helpful and knowledgeable about our door and what service needed to be performed. Robert was very polite and courteous. Answered all our questions and even made recommendations on things that we needed that we didnt know. We would recommend them to everyone. LGA Garage Door Services replaced two 13 year old garage door openers for me. They had to order the side mount openers which arrived exactly when they told me they would arrive. The technicians arrived on time and were very courteous. The install went perfectly and I look forward to my door no longer opening randomly.I learned the average life of a garage door opener runs between 10 to 15 years. My two openers lasted 13 years which makes replacing a better value than repairing them. I highly recommend LGA to anyone needing garage doors or openers!

Very difficult to deal with, I have called numerous times to inquire regarding our purchase and was told, by unnamed worker, to call home depot. Home Depot previously advised us upon purchase that all communication would be through LGA to set up install. Absolutely, the worst customer service ever and in fact, down right rude and abrasive. The idea that they have of customer service is appalling and quite honestly, its amazing that the are still doing business. I am quite sure not every interaction with every customer is this way and like to hope that they do care but based on every step so far it is dreadful.

LGA has been a phenomenal asset to me and my home. They were kind enough to fit me into their schedule quickly to fix issues caused by another company. They ensured the safety of my home and went what I feel is above and beyond to get the job done quickly and professionally. All the people I interacted with were kind, professional, and understanding. I cannot say enough good things! LGA will be my go to for any future garage door needs.

Prices very competitive. Workers excellent, knowledgeable, friendly. We had damage to a wooden, sectional garage door in Harvey. We called the company on a Friday afternoon. They came out later that day to estimate repairs. I received the proposed work by E-mail at 10:30 that night, and accepted at once. They came out the next afternoon and fixed it before nightfall, installing new springs and new hinges in the panels. When they completed the work, they manually lowered the door, and found it would raise itself about four inches, which I thought was reasonable, since the door opener could easily handle pushing the door down that short a distance. But this did not meet their standards. The door should be balanced, they said, so they removed the two new springs and installed a single spring with a slightly lower lift capacity. This time, the door went all the way to the ground, and still raised manually without any strain. These fellows are very professional. Two neighbors stopped by during the repairs and asked if they could look at doors down the street.

The spring broke on my garage door. I called LGA and they had a service man here within an hour. The technician quoted me a price to replace the spring which I thought was fair. He had the spring replaced and the garage door working again within 1 hour. Very pleased with the service and professionalism. Will use again when needed.

Its Friday afternoon and my garage door came off the track. I quickly called LGA and Robert and Alberto were here in about an hour. They were able to figure out the problem, put the door back on the track and tuned everything up. They were great to work with, polite and knew what they were doing. Greatly appreciated! I had my garage door come off the track late one Saturday night several months ago and tried to fix myself ….but didnt work out. I called several companies but didnt get an answer or not available. Godo came out very early Sunday morning to repair it. He was very professional and honest. He was able to reform the bent track instead of replacing with a new one and repaired the rest very quickly. I appreciated the honesty and not trying to charge for unnecessary parts. Great job Godo! He and LGA are strongly recommended!

I did not care for the service, the tech looked at the garage door opener, he asked how old was it? I told him 5 1/2 years, adjusted a few things on the opener and it still didn’t work. He then told me I just needed a new garage door opener. The tech then asked when was the last time my garage doors were serviced, I told the guy I spray the rollers from time to time. He talked me into a $151.00 service which included adjusting the doors and openers. I allowed him to perform the service and my garage door still doesn’t work...by the way I was quoted $521.00 to install a new garage door opener.After speaking with Rusty and explaining the situation LGA was kind enough to make things right and offered to refund my cost which he didn’t have to do. I am satisfied with the solution and would call them again for garage door service!

The tech was great. I wish I could remember his name so I could compliment him personally. He came out on a Sunday right on time and not only repaired the door but also gave me info on what to do to prevent the problem. He also didnt try to oversell me when he realized the repair could be made without replacing the hoist he told me it wasnt necessary even though I had agreed to replace it. I dont expect to need service anytime soon since he gave me prevention info but will absolutely call LGA next time.

Willing to fix the garage and do a good job, but came a day late from the scheduled time. I just wanted to fix the whole garage but talked me in to fixing it temporarily with a whole new garage coming the next day. Does not make much sense to do that so just think ahead and be sure of what you want.

Fantastic! The tension cable came undone on Sunday night and the technician was here waiting when I got home from work on Monday (he offered to be here sooner but I couldnt miss work). He took the time to explain everything so not only was it fixed, but I learned why it happened and how to make sure it doesnt again. He was friendly, courteous, and very polite. I called a few different places and was getting quotes of around $150-$200 and they only charged $110 so not only was the service exceptional, but the price was great too! Hopefully I dont need to call them anytime soon but they will be who I call for any garage door needs. Thank you LGA!

Good service but expensive. I was changed $289 to replace the rollers on my door. It took maybe 40 minutes. Happy with the work but a fair price should have been half what I was charged.

Called this company for a wheel popping out of the track and service was dispatched within 30 minutes. Robert, the technician was very professional, fixed the problem within just a few minutes and performed some preventive maintenance for us after checking over the entire system. He was very professional, friendly and explained everything very well. Very reasonable prices. Will call this company in the future for problems and routine maintenance.

Robert Gamez did an excellent job replacing my old Liftmaster with a larger unit. Very professional and fast. I did my research to determine which opener I needed since my door was very heavy. I therefore knew the cost online. The price of the unit was virtually the same and the labor charge was very reasonable. My highest recommendation.

Called LGA after door got caught on a piece of wood and the wire came off. They arrived during the time they said, promptly fixed the problem, were very helpful and answered questions. I would recommend to friends and will use them again.

I called LGA specifically because of the user reviews but I was VERY disappointed in the service provided. I requested a maintenance service on the door AND I wanted the access code reprogrammed and two new remotes. What I got were two remotes with the old code and the tech used lubricated the hinges on the doors. This set me back $184.UPDATE: As a result of my earlier review, both the owner and the tech called me. They came out and reprogrammed the remotes. He demonstrated that the existing code no longer worked on the door and then programmed them to work the door. He also showed me how to program the code for the door. THIS was the service Id been expecting the first time and I appreciate that LGA Garage Door Service made it right.
