I really like this place. It’s unique! I’ve taken a few clocks there over the past few years. Clocks are sentimental to me, and to have the right people work on them is comforting. Just go there and check it out. You’ll be impressed too.

They have always worked on my watches and done a helluva job over the past 15 years for me, personally. Cool place also. They sell genuine Rolex watches as well!

Friendly, fast service on a wrist watch battery replacement. Even got a quick history on pocket watches while I was waiting! Saved me a bundle as well - Jared was saying that the watch needed to be sent to the manufacturer in order to have the battery replaced, which would take over a month, and about $75. Would definitely come back again. As a side note - they also carry some pretty cool items that arent watch/clock related.

Worst experience ever. They made me wait 8 months for my clock to be cleaned. Multiple claims of paperwork mix ups and bad customer communication. Long hold times on the phone just trying to get an answer. Absolutely horrible service.

Quaint, old fashioned clock and watch shop run by a long time family. Beautiful assortment of cuckoo clocks, grandfather clocks and specialty clocks. They are one of few in the area to do clock and watch repair. Parking can be difficult depending on how busy Old Spring area is. Parking for wheelchair access is very limited and down the street. There are curb cuts but no street side parking as the curb is too high. Many cracks and ruts in the sidewalk. But once inside, it is worth it.

I have an old Sessions Tambur Mantel clock and was told it couldnt be repaired or restored to working order.My husband suggested Moore Time.We took it in and they were able to get it working! Recently, I had to return it as the click spring got sprung and, true to their word, theyll cover it under warranty.I also have an almost 100 year old Ladies Hamilton watch that I was also told couldnt be repaired and that the only way it would be operational was if it were turned into a quartz set up. I refused to have that done and hoped that maybe Moore Time could fix the watch as well. I am happy to say that the watch was repaired and keeps perfect time in its original state - without being gutted and turned into a quartz.I am totally enamored by the shop.The friendliness, customer service, willingness to answer any questions I have and extensive knowledge will keep me as a customer for my clock and watch needs.

We visited twice this place but the owner did not even talk to us. I wished happy new year he did not even acknowledge it! I was not alone but with family. Still he did not bother to ask us if we need any help or if we find anything that we needed or not even hello!!! Unbelievable! Why such run businesses without any business etiquettes? We also saw a lady complaining about her Clock that’s NOT working and looked very upset with the quality of the product or repairs performed. We were surprised the owner did not even say bye when we left the place after 15 minutes of waiting!!! Don’t shop there. Everything is overpriced compared to the online genuine stores. Not worth it.

I needed someone to check on what went wrong with my 2 months old peacock wall clock and set it correctly to run. Hyrum on the front desk has been helpful and kind. He offered not to take money for the 5 mins effort. However, I offered him $10 for his work and appreciated his kind gesture.There are beautiful old time grandfather clock displayed to purchase as well in the shop.

First time to this location to repair a wall clock. Very friendly guy welcomed us and said he would repair the clock while we waited. Im not wise to clock repair pricing, but was please with same day service.

Outstanding service! Located in a beautiful small town, they took care of me in no time, explained how my wall clock works, showed me the issues and repair needed. My wall clock now is working like a clockwork...lol...Wish you all lots of success!

We did not have a positive experience with this business. I do understand errors happen and I did my best to give the benefit of the doubt, on multiple occasions. My dad called and arranged to have them fix a grandfather clock he gave me. This repair was a birthday gift which they were aware of. After getting it scheduled and waiting 3 weeks for the home appointment, the tech did not show up and did not call. The day of the appointment someone from the office called to confirm we would be home, then they no showed. I called the next day, naturally upset. They did not apologize and asked if I could reschedule. I waited ANOTHER two weeks, and again, no call no show. After I was clear I work from home and timing was very important. The day of the second appointment my father called and had a conversation with them. Someone from the store called me and asked if they could come out immediately. Again, no apology, no explanation. The tech came, and after making two rude remarks about how the problem with my clock was that it was cheap and inexpensive he was able to retime and oil the mechanism. Mind you he had not looked inside the clock at this time to see the mechanism, only the outside. The comment was rude and completely unnecessary especially after the runaround they gave us. The ONLY reason I am giving two stars is he was actually able to get the clock running and as of 5 days after the repair it is still working. I would never return to this business.

They do not where mask during peak Covid activity nor required customers to where mask, whereas other stores in the area had “mask required inside” signs on their doors.At drop off of two two clocks for simple repairs we waited 15 minutes for someone to offer help, there were two employees at the counter, one busy with The only other customer in the store and the other staff just on the computer, but after 15 mins asked “what can I do for you?”. We dropped off with a transaction of less than 5 mins.After 2 weeks I phoned to ask if my clocks were ready and if the procedure was for me to call or would they call me when ready ...... they advised that they would call me when the clocks were ready.After 4 weeks I sent an email with a pic of the repair tickets and asked if the clocks were ready, and there was no response. So we drove there and asked to just pick the clocks up. One was completed and was tagged “weird clock” and the other was untouched. It took them 5 mins to find it. No apologies or care that we elected to go to another shop, they just charged me for the one clock repaired with gold mechanical parts vs the silver parts that were originally on the clock, so if it looked to weird to them before, it is more weird looking now.The experience with the drop-off, the long time for repair, the “no response” to my email and the experience at pick-up, as well as they are irresponsible with PPE during this Covid period has me giving them one star for professionalisms. I cannot comment in the quality since it was a simple replacement of the clocks mechanical pieces that I could have done and with matching parts.

Great place to have your cuckoo clock repaired. This folks do great work. I had a 1960s era cuckoo clock that hadnt worked for at least 10 years. They did a great job and runs like new. Timeline from start to finish was about 4 months.

We picked up the Atmos clock that they repaired for us. They cleaned up this almost-60 year old clock. It looks beautiful and works, well - like clockwork! Its keeping perfect time.

My boyfriend and I discovered a small music box (about the size of a locket and probably meant to be worn as one) at the back of a drawer in my dad’s office but it didn’t work and a battery had corroded next to it. We weren’t sure if it was fixable or even how to fix it ourselves, so I knew I’d have to bring it in someplace to have it fixed.I saw Moore Time online and saw that they were close by to where I live. So after some time, I just stopped by to get an estimated to see how much it would be to get it fixed. I came in, the gentleman took a look at it and brought it into the back to check it. After 5-10 minutes I’m told that he fixed it! He also mananged to clean off most of the battery corrosion. The ending price for that small fix was $10.I was very surprised that he fixed it that quickly when most other places would look at it and then drag out the process for a least a few days and charge much more. It was a very small fix, so I’m thankful that the charge was so small.This will be a wonderful gift to return to my dad for his birthday. I have brought a few of my music boxes in for cleanings/repairs, and I am always happy with the results. Each time, the repairs were done quickly and very thoroughly. The service is not only friendly and knowledgeable, but they are also willing to share detailed cleaning and care tips. Their prices are also very reasonable. I will be coming back here (all the way from Central Texas) if I find any more music boxes that need fixing!

Needed repairs for pocket watch purchased from them less than a year after buying. Front counter help was extremely rude, was told watch was unfixable with no further explanation. Took watch to another repair shop and watch was fixed and polished in less than a week.

Extremely knowledgeable, very quick with their work, and reasonably priced. Only thing bad was that I waited about 10 minutes until an employee acknowledged me.

Wow!! These people know their stuff! I brought in my grandfathers rare cuckoo clock that no one else in Texas would even touch, they simply didnt have the skill set. I CALLED EVERYWHERE they were the only ones who could work on it. Ben and co. had my clock completely restored and working in no time at all. Also had a really nice chat with Bens wife, Chelsea, super nice, very informative! Also, the clocks they have on the sales floor are unbelievable. They should charge museum admission with the type of clocks they have. I would highly recommend these folks.

Theyre always kind, courteous and efficient. Its the only place I go to get my watch battery changed and the most reasonable price Ive found. I always enjoy looking around the store.

Moore Time is one of the very few who can fix the most challenging clock issues. They might not be fast (complicated issues can take 3 months) but they stand by their work and are dedicated to fixing your clock. Prices are reasonable based on price of your clock. thumbs up!

Watch repair shops like this are very hard to come by. The level of professional work and courtesy is top notch. I wish these guys the best and they have earned my familys business. The area they are located is really cool too you can visit these niceLittle shops all around this area while they work on your watches.

Dropped off my clock in April to be repaired but they totally dropped the ball on this one..never got fixed..never got looked at and never followed up with me..i will never recommend this place..go else where..!!

There are a few clock and watch service shops in the northern Houston area, but Moore Time is by far my favorite. Their prices are excellent, service is speedy, and they have the expertise and equipment to handle most commissions.

Took my clock there back in 2015, they said it would be 4 months to fix it, still dont have my clock back! Every time I call they say it should be done in a week! They need to get a better system to keep the customers informed. Never again will I take my clocks here! Never!!!!

These guys have terrible service. Son Pre-Paid in July of 2017 for a watch repair. They still dont have it done and they make excuses for not having it done...even blaming Harvey. Seriously. Its watch repair. Should have been done before Harvey...long before. Went today, just more excuses. No watch. Go to a professional place that has pride in their service. This place is not it.

I want to make a reply to Bill Douglas who posted a one-star review just below mine. Clocks are not an easy thing to repair and it takes a very skilled person who really knows what theyre doing to fix the clock. And there are not a lot of people out there who are willing to learn this trade and it is becoming a lost art. I can understand your frustration but not getting your clock fixed on time, but there were only a few people there that are probably skilled enough to fix your clock. I left my mantle clock with them and came back 6 weeks later and and they had not had a chance to look at it yet because the person that they wanted to fix it was backlogged and I understood that. And I want the best person for that type of clock to fix it and being that my clock is well over a hundred and fifty years old I could wait a few more months. My clock has been ready for about 2 months and it was just picked up yesterday because of my own scheduling conflicts. They fixed two of my clocks and one of them was a cuckoo clock they had never seen before because the pieces were so small and made in Switzerland from a from a Master clock maker that is no longer around. They took the time to take the clock apart, learn it, fix it, lubricated and reassemble it and then went ahead and fixed some small imperfections with antique hooks and nails. Clock looks like it did from the 1960s. I will only take my clocks to Big Ben and his staff at Moore time clocks.My mantle clock its from my grandmother Beatrice Adams who is the great great granddaughter of John Quincy Adams. That is a very special clock and I wasnhonored to have Ben work on it. The Cuckoo-Clock belonged to my recently deceased brother and its now my cuckoo clock and it looks and works beautifully. Thank you so much Moore Time, for your skilled hands.Ben Moore or Big Ben as he is known. Knows his stuff. I have taken 2 rare clocks there and he knew all about them. He is currently repairing 2 of mine. They take their time. I am currently 2 months out for my repairs. But this is normal for complicated clock repair. They do flood restorations, watch batteries, clock sales, new and old. The most beautiful selection of clocks I have ever seen. Worth just stopping by. Its like a museum.

Absolutely terrible service. I took a wall clock in for repair in July 2017 and was given a 3 month completion schedule by the owner Big Ben. In December, when it was not ready, I was told it would be ready in February 2018. Finally in April, when I checked on it they had not even touched it and I was nonchalantly told they could send it out to another repair shop, if I wanted, as they were backlogged because of Hurricane Harvey. Well my clock was there almost 6 weeks prior to Harvey I picked up my unrepaired clock. I do not recommend using this company!

I checked the reviews before I came here and they look good. I had a broken band on my Citizen watch and Kevin had it fixed in 5 minutes. They do have a Rolex certified specialist there so my dad will take his watch to get fixed as well.

Great place to get you clocks and watches fixed

Took our cuckoo clock for repairs in February 2016. After numerous calls as to when it would be ready, I decided to pick It up without them even looking at it. Thought I was patient enough .... they had it for over 7 months. What also troubled me that it took the lady quite a while to even find it I conclude that they have their preferred customers while the rest of us are relegated to the very end of the line. Shouldnt be that way. First come, first out.

Tyler and the staff are nice. I took my cucu clock In September 2017 I didnt open it until November 2018. I kept the clock in a safe spot for the year. Finally when I decided to set it up I realized the music Box wasnt fixed, which was the reason i took it in 2017. So I took the clock back and they told me they can trouble shoot the clock for $50 or I can pay $275 to fully fix it! At this point i have realize this business takes peoples money and say they fix things but dont. Also I dont understand how they fix pieces if the clock worker is gone before 3pm everyday. I do not recommend using this company!

Had my Howard Miller clock repaired by Moore Time last year. Even though it took nearly 6 months for them to get the work done (they are crazy busy...you must get on their waiting list) it was well worth the wait.They are now working on a Bulova watch I accidently put through the wash 6-7 years ago. Did not think that it would be possible to fix, but theyve assured me they can get new innards for it and it will be ready next month. Woo-hoo!!!
