The worst company to return an item back to them, customer service say that I have to cover items return shipment cost at my own expenses if I want to get my money back., Then most of these enterprises say that Amazon is blast them off, but Amazon has a return policy very focused on Customer Satisfaction!, something that your at Parts-Express is lack off

Guys in the showroom are fantastic, phone customer service was great too. I am able to visit in person so thats nice. I got a shallow mount subwoofer for my truck and it blew they 3 days later, they replaced it no problem. Then that one blew, so I changed it up and built a box for 4 8 inch subs under rear seat of Silverado. These little lanzar 8s put in some work lol. I have a 3000 watt lanzar monoblock pushing them at 4ohms sounds amazing has the roof flexing lol seriously. Unfortunately today one let go. I will be making a trip to the store tomorrow and as always will be pleased with customer service. These guys are fantastic cant speak highly enough about them. Miss when they were in Dayton back in the day but still worth the drive. Keep it up parts express. Best music store around.

I have had several orders by mail and 6 from their showroom, such a top notch establishment!Shipping is always lightning fast always as advertised. I had a problem with one amplifier that was no fault of theirs but they stood behind the product with fantastic customer service!! Electronic components and accessories that have become so hard-to-come-by elsewhere are still easily available here. I own a radio that takes 7.5VDC and live in a rented RV that has a 12V CLA socket just like a car does. I never found a DC-to-DC adapter for said radio until I discovered one here. Shipping didnt take too long and products are of high quality.

Ive been a customer since 2013, and Im a retired EE and a Ham. Do repairs/mods to supplement my fixed income. Im very disappointed because my Online Order finally arrived after six days, ONLY TO BE RETURNED to Parts Express. Made it to the morning of delivery, then UPS said there was an address problem prior to Out For Delivery. Im a UPS Choice member and called them to fix the address. Apparently, their contract with PE has them return the package if any issues arise. UPS said PE could fix the Order so it would reach me.I call PE only to be told that they wont take the time to contact UPS, and my Order will take at least a week to make it back, and then they will Refund my Order.Im surprised because on one of my orders they forgot to ship the Power Supply. They immediately sent me the missing item. Well, Im redoing my Review based on the prior good service Ive received. If you run a business, errors occur. Hope they fix their UPS Policy though...

I have made several orders with Parts Express. It is nice that you can call first (if you have questions) and get good advice from the team there. I have had fast shipping and well packaged items arrive with no issues.I recently ordered the little hybrid amp that they carry - Dayton Audio HTA20BT. I ordered some replacement tubes from another site and that little amp rocks the house! For the tube amp purist it is not a true tube amplifier. I understand that, however, it really works great. I have several other Made in China hybrid amps and the one from Parts Express is quickly becoming my favorite the more time I get on it.I am using a nice TEAC CD player with a Bur-Brown DAC and that feeds through the amp to Klipsch Industrial La Scala speakers. Sounds amazing. The speakers are in the corners in the pictures.I will buy from them again. I like to check their clearance section often also.

Okay, to start off this review I want to say that if you arent using parts express you need to be using it. Everything Ive gotten from them has been quality! I ordered 5 speakers yesterday and got the cheapest shipping. My order is already sitting in front of me as we speak. Simply amazing. I cant voucher for their customer service because I havent had to use it but that in itself should tell you something! I will continue to use parts express for all audio needs. With an ever-shrinking number of places to get good electronics, Parts Express is a welcome find. Ive never been to their retail location since Im not in Ohio, but Ive ordered from them online several times. Delivery is always quick and everything Ive gotten from them has been good quality.Started with the Ultimax 15 subwoofer + flatpack cabinet combo and had fun building it, and it enriches my movies and games in the living room every day. Super happy with it.After that Ive gotten a few flared ports for other subwoofer build projects and theyve been easy to assemble, size, and install and man do they make a difference in the boxes Ive built.The one time I had to contact customer service about an order they were really friendly and helpful, which I appreciate, and answered all my questions. Theyll also help you make decisions about gear if you have questions and give you recommendations. Whenever you can, make sure your order is over $50 and take advantage of free shipping!

Parts express customer service screw up my order. I called them to specifically shipped to different address as I have ordered before. After 4 days later I received notification it is being shipped to the wrong location. Now I have pay toll and drive 1 hour to get my product. 100% customer satisfaction is a lie.

I’ve ordered random items from them for years. I just left their catalog showroom for the first time and could not be any more pleased with the service Bob provided. They always have a HUGE selection to order from and carry things you cannot find in stock anymore. Better prices than almost anywhere and more knowledgeable than what you would find if Radio Shack was still in business.

I had a wonderful experience at the Springboro Parts Express yesterday. I live 45 minutes from there, but they always have the parts and electronics parts we are looking for. My mother is 96 years old, with dementia, and is living with me. She is bedridden and cannot see all the beautiful Christmas decorations in our house. I had brought to my house a small fiberoptic Christmas tree that she and Dad had used for years to put in her room. It had quit working Tuesday night, and I was hoping I could have it repaired for her. I took it to Gary at Parts Express and thought it would be a simple thing of replacing the power supply, which just plugs in. However, Gary checked it out, and the power plug was not the problem. He took it apart and found that it was just the quartz light bulb that had burned out. He was so kind and explained it all to me, where to get the bulb, and how to put it back together. He even carried the tree in and then back to my car. He told me to bring it back to have him put it back together if I couldnt do it. I did purchase the bulb, put it back together, and it happily brightened her room with Christmas cheer again last night. Gary went above and way beyond what we expect these days in customer service. I have told several techy people already today about the store and the heartwarming customer service I received from Gary. I thought that kind of thoughtful, caring customer service went away in the 1960s. A big thank you to Gary and Parts Express. It is worth the 45-minute drive when I need electronic supplies. Pass the word!

Ive been a customer for a long, long, LONG time, and while they dont carry speaker cables selling for twenty grand a pair ( and I wouldnt be buying them anyway ), what they DO carry are products that tend to offer the most bang for the buck, as well as all of the maintanence products required to keep your electronics of any kind running at its peak of performance. Not forgetting clearance pricing on all kinds of products you otherwise may not have been able to afford otherwise ( which is how I got here - I just saved almost 50% on a combo amplifier / headphone amp which rivals the quality of those found at your favorite high end dealer . These ( and numerous other reasons ) make Parts Express my first stop when I need anything to do with electronics!

Great source for electronic parts

Ordered a $4 part, it got lost in the mail (tracking says received by sender but nothing further, its been 3 weeks), and PEs response was basically its between you and USPS, good luck. They could have easily looked at the order and resent the $4 part, they could have said theyd help look into the shipping, but they did neither. Not impressed with their CS.

The level of customer service at Parts Express is unmatched in the industry. I had a relatively small order and they handled it with the utmost professionalism and responsiveness, reaching out to me both by email and by phone to verify the products arrived as promised. Even if other providers can match their prices, I will be a PE customer for life based on the service I received.

I called in wanting help with replacement speakers of better quality than that came in my floor standing 3-way home stereo speaker cabinets. This guy named Tim specifically told me to measure the entire cabinets, speakers sizes, baffles ect.After calling him back and leaving 2 messages along with a few emails I got nothing.Why have someone do all this if they cant follow though really pisses me off!

Aside from having the best price on my items and free fast shipping ta boot, their customer service is impeccable. I ordered a 12 driver and panel amp, which shipped together, but when I opened the speaker box the rim was bent. There was a small hole in the manufacturers box where something must have jammed through and bent the rim. After a quick call to customer service and snapping some pics for verification, they had a new one sent out the next day and it was in my hands 2 days later. A final note to their concern for customer satisfaction; the packing list had a painfully bright sticker on it and bold letters informing the picker that this was a replacement for a damaged shipment so make sure everything is perfect. I will definitely be shopping with them again.

Their parts fall into the category of just open and go on whatever it is youre working on. I have yet to see any miscounted items from Parts Express. Of course their are other sites selling pieces/parts but just dont have the inventory nor the promptness that Parts Express has. They have me as a loyal and continuing customer.

Im not to hip bout putting a stereo system together just me say that. I didnt know what I was looking for purse what kind of speakers are what kind of amps. When I went in to just some questions, this older guy did not get his name. I told him what I was wanting to do. So he check out my info on my truck. So he actually recommend what I should get. Thats when I realized he knows his sounds. I bought what he recommended. I thought its gonna cost like thousand bucks, not at all more like 150 bucks. Ive been a long time customer, since the 90s. I never had an issue until recently. I contacted customer support and they advised that I go through the manufacturers warranty. I tried that but the order had already been back ordered and the warranty process was going to add quite a bit more time. I contacted them again and was mistakenly told that I was outside my return window. This resulted in several emails back and forth. I think I was speaking with multiple reps and not all of my messages were visible to all reps. Finally, Lynie followed the ticket until it was resolved. It was frustrating but I think it was just a misunderstanding. They really did seem to be trying to proactively take care of my issue. In the end my issue was resolved and I placed another order the next day with no issues. Im relieved because I count on Parts Express for many of my projects and I look forward to shopping with them for many years. to come.

Decent inventory at decent prices. BUT!!! They will hound you mercilessly for reviews and spam you endlessly about products you purchased!!! They have ZERO concept of professionalism... They call buyers by their first names and act like we are old friends. NOT the case!! We are CUSTOMERS NOT FRIENDS!!! My third order over the years with Parts Express. UPS damaged the box in shipment and one of the speaker enclosures had the woofer detached and rattling around. One call to Parts Express sales and replacements on the way to me pronto. Sent them pics and explanation of damages. Superb customer service and great products/prices. I ordered the Overnight Sensations speaker kit on 12/17/2015 at 12:30 AM (Thursday morning). The website showed it in stock.I called to check the order status on 12/19/2015 (Saturday) and was told that the item was on back order but that some of the kits had come in on 12/18/2015 (Friday night).I asked if I could upgrade the shipping to 2 day air so that it would make delivery by Christmas. I was told that the items would be shipped on Monday 12/21/2015.Today is 01/02/2016 so I called to check on the status of the order again.I was informed that a component in the kit was on back order and that it will be expected to arrive and be shipped on 01/27/2016.I will be cancelling my order.I will do business with your competitors from now on.

Only two stars due to the outrageous shipping cost. $6.95 standard shipping for an item weighing 1oz at the most. Something is wrong when the item is $5.58, and shipping is almost two dollars more. In a padded envelope, it should cost them no more than $2.00 - envelope and all! Bad business model to gouge your customers and profit from shipping. They offer free standard shipping for orders over $100. Another tactic to get you to buy more, so you can save on shipping. Rethink your policy, Parts Express! Id gladly pay the actual shipping cost, but it burns me up to pay 3--4 dollars more.

Nice, clean store. It is amazing how much of their online inventory is merchandised on the floor. Also, anything not on the floor can be retrieved from the warehouse.

I purchased a Bluetooth solution for my vehicle. Easy to install and even went back for a in dash stereo. Prices are much better than BigBox stores and quality may be better. Gadget Junkies please leave your wife at home....bring both credit cards! To sum things up here this was the best thing I could do for my community. After finding what I needed at Parts Express, I started an account on 7/13/2016, placed my order immediately, all parts were in-stock, and order was confirmed by email. Recd my package via DHL at approx. 3:45pm, 7/19/2016 with no COD costs at time of delivery. Total cost of my order was exactly what it said on my invoice as I placed the order. VERY QUICK delivery with no unexpected costs due to cross-boarder red tape. This is my first order with Parts Express and Im very satisfied with this transaction. Ive always been satisfied with customer support here as well as their products. You can find a variety of electronics here. Mainly audio/video and speakers. Their Dayton Audio brand is great. Best sounding speaker for its price. They do have higher end DA speakers that are pretty close in quality to other high end brands (JBL, Polk, Cerwin Vega... Etc). They also sell other speaker brands as well as DJ equipment.

Buyer beware. Parts Express just flat out cancelled my order with no previous communication, 7 days after my order was placed. Purchased items on line, payment confirmed, everything seemed ok. Then a week later, customer service representative emailed me that they cancelled the order, then offered a 5% discount on another order, come on Parts Express, thats disappointing. I have had better experience on prior orders with them, but this was a let down.
