Don’t go by their rating! They’re very unresponsive and don’t honor their scheduled appointments. This is the 3rd time they’re assigned to us by AHS insurance.This instance were supposed to come 1 week ago per scheduled appointment but that was a no-show. We had to make multiple calls and they say they’re not free until after a week. Once they came, they said they have to order a part and come in week or later to install.That’s literally leaving us without dishwasher for almost a month.Previous instance technician spoke rude as well and walked into our house with mud filled shoes. He didn’t even ask for permission if he can wear shoes or at least cloud have worn shoe covers. We have a baby who crawls so we had to mop the floors all over.Worst service ever! We’re gonna ask AHS to assign a different company to fix any future issues!!
James was very professional and courteous. To me, he seemed very knowledgeable about what he was doing. He even called the next day to make sure my Whirlpool fridge / freezer was running well. I will use A-Tech again if the need for service warrants it.

Our technician did a good job fixing our washing machine. Nothing wrong the service he provided. He was great - polite, friendly, knew what he was doing.The only problem we had was the steep price A-Tech Appliance charges. If youre needing any appliance repairs done, keep searching. Youll pay out the wazoo at A-Tech Appliance. They charge $89.95 for a diagnosis fee. Then for labor they do not charge an hourly rate, but instead a platform other service providers use in NWA & Central Arkansas that gives a labor code based on the part they are installing. If youre needing an actuator replaced on your washing machine, the part is $64.92 and then $234.90 for the 15 minutes they spent installing it. But dont worry, they do deduct the $89.95 service charge from the labor fee, as if that makes you feel better. So in our case, it was $64.92 for the part, $144.95 for labor, $89.95 for diagnosis, and $29.98 for sales tax . A total $329.80 for spending 15-20 minutes diagnosing the problem, and another 15-20 minutes fixing the problem.Seems like a rich scam A-Tech Appliance has during a pandemic to make a quick profit.
This is the first time that I used A-Tech Appliance and found them to be a company that I will use again. Their headquarters is in northwest Arkansas but they service Little Rock so when I got a call for my appointment confirmation, it had an area code of 479 - a bit confusing.The technician was very polite and timely. He was very knowledgeable and efficient. Definitely a recommend!
Allen was able to immediately diagnose the issue with the dryer and had it fixed within 45 minutes. I have used A-Tech several times over the years. They have always been very honest and professional every time. Highly recommend them!

I am updating my review, though somewhat after the fact. I wanted to see how everything was going to pan out and cogitate a bit on how to revise my initial review.Only a couple hours after I posted the review below the owner of A-Tech Appliance called me to ask what he could do make things right. He was quite gracious and arranged for a service technician to come out the very next day.The technician was, again, prompt, courteous, and professional. He quickly identified that the problem as a broken heating element. Much to my surprise and delight he replaced the heating element for free.Then why not a five star rating you ask?Well... - before the first repair my driver was making a cacophonous rattle but heating up just fine. After the first repair my dryer ran whisper quite but produced no heat. After the second repair my driver heats up quite nicely but is back to making the aforementioned cacophonous rattle.Its been a few weeks now, so I guess its going to keep running, albeit extremely loudly.Its an old dryer, and they did install the heating element for free... - so, four our five stars. I figure one star off for the deafening racket is fair enough..~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ORIGINAL REVIEW~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I have used A-Tech ten, maybe twelve times over the years to repair microwaves, dish washers, washers and dryers and have been, by and large, satisfied with their service.Most recently I had them come out to repair a dryer. He quickly identified that the cacophonous rattle was due to a bad roller which he replaced on the spot.Later that afternoon, upon attempting to dry the first load of clothes, we realized that the heating element no longer worked. It had worked prior to the aforementioned repair.When I called and asked if they could send someone back out they informed me that they wouldn’t be able to schedule us till a couple days out. I explained that my wife and I were leaving on an extended trip tomorrow; and as our laundry had already been piling up waiting for this service call, we would really appreciate if someone could come out today.My request was met with irritated indifference. We have a service call scheduled for next Thursday. Commensurately, I will be taking off work and spending my afternoon at the laundromat.Once this repair is made I will not contact A-Tech again.
Adam provided outstanding service for my new GE dryer that needed a new part. Today he had a helper with him, I don’t recall his name. Both young men were professional, Proficient, fast and genuinely friendly. Excellent service from A-Tech.
I needed an igniter for my gas oven, and they had the part in-stock and available, and I was able to get my oven working the same day.
Everything was great..start to finish. When I called for an appointment Allison answered and she was very nice and polite and helpful. The service man was super nice and he really knew everything about my machine, he even taught me a couple things that I didnt know. We will continue using A-tech for as long as they are around.

Own samsung refrigerator and water dispenser stopped working, person came last week and couldn’t fix it he himself create order for new door and replaced it. Associate who came explained my doubts and recommendations also committed to the work. Very punctual

Very prompt service and response time for fridge repair. Technician was right on time. Was given a window of 12-3, and the technician showed up a couple minutes before noon. The compressor needed to be replaced, and he was done in approximately 45 minutes which was much faster than I expected. Overall very happy and would use them again.
My tech, Adam, was great is why im even giving them 1 star. It shouldnt have cost $236.00 for a heating element replacement. It takes 7 minutes if that to change the element. The only reason I couldnt, was that I was out of State. I wouldnt recommend these guys for your appliance repairs. They are way over priced!!!

We’ve had a home warranty for 15 years, been serviced by all the “repair” companies through the years for our appliances. Never, EVER has a company shined brighter than A-tech. Their call center personnel are at the top of their game! Wonderful communication! The repair person was on time, well spoken, very knowledgeable.Look no further than A-tech. Even if you have to wait a day or more till they can come out, well worth it to get their caliber of service.

I called Sears first. The phone was answered by a foreign voice with bad English. Hung up immediately. Called a local source, person went straight to selling If you want to talk, hire us. Called these folks. Got A great human/Arkansan. Set up service appt. they arrived approximately on time. Sensed excellence immediately. Dude took out a pocket knife and probed the door jamb and immediately told me what the issue was. Dude was a microwave whisperer. Awesome expertise. Could not have been more impressed. .

I had a broken washer door under warranty. They contacted me to schedule the repair the same day I called in my warranty. Service was fast and the tech was very knowledgeable. I have never liked the appointment scheduling with the window of time but that is how everyone schedules. All in all great appliance service!

I needed some drum rollers for my dryer, and this store was the only one recommended to me that may possibly have them locally. I went in just after opening, the man behind the front desk was incredibly polite, kind, and helpful, and I was out of there with the exact parts (Whirlpool certified, which was a toss up while looking online) I needed within a couple minutes at a very reasonable cost. Hopefully I wont have any more appliances breaking soon, but Im very happy this store is here just in case.

If I could give zero stars I would. Two weeks after moving into our new residence, and after having used the dryer no more than three times, it broke. When the technician A-Tech sent showed up, he repeatedly accused my wife of overloading the dryer which he said caused it to break. We have been careful to make sure and NOT do this as both washer and dryer were brand new and we wanted to take as good of care of them as we could.The technician then stated it would be another week before someone would be able to bring the part necessary to fix it. On that day I called A-Tech to assure the technician would be coming to fix the dryer as scheduled. When I reached them, they told me the dryer had been replaced and all was fixed. I told them the was not true and they rescheduled the appointment for that day. The technician showed up an hour outside the 2 hour window with no notification of this. When I contacted A-Tech, they could not reach the technician.Not once did I or my wife receive an apology from anyone in their company for their tardiness or false accusations. Steer clear of this company if at all possible.
My husband and I are so happy with our A-tech experience! Jamie Leach was so kind and helpful! He is a pro at what he does, and has a great personality to boot. I will definitely use A-tech services in the future!

James was super fast repairing our dryer. He took the whole thing apart, replaced two components, reassembled and tested it and was gone in 30 minutes or so. He had definately done this before.
Our dryer went out a few months ago. We didnt have the funds to call a repair place and since my husband can fix about everything we went here for parts. It took two trips and over $150 later to get it fixed. The first part replaced wasnt even the right one but they wouldnt exchange. Fine I understand. The part that was right has failed us again (bad dryer). I called for a price check and the guy on the phone was rude. He argued with me and wanted me to replace the wrong part again. I explained I knew what was going on and I just need a price check again. He interrupted me multiple times and argued with me. After calling around their price was twice as much as another place. Not to mention the other place didnt argue. They just gave me a price like I asked. If someone asks for a price just give it to them. Dont try to diagnose their problem and be wrong about it.

Tech Jamie Leach is courteous. He made the visit/repair very pleasant. I dealt with techs thats doing work for they money. But not Jamie, he prides on what he does and does it right. In and out in no time. Dryer was making this weird vibrating noise and he was able to narrow it down to the metal plate that goes out to the vent. Taped it and put everything back. No more weird noises. Thank you!
Ive dealt with customer service for years, but Jaime Leach takes it to another level. My biggest problem is customer service that doesnt really care about the customer. Jaime did it old school. He called an hour before he completed the job prior to visiting me, then called 30 minutes before he left to come to my location. While here, Jaime was personable, knowledgeable and a fantastic representative of A Tech Repair. I hope I dont need you, but if I do, I wont hesitate to call and ask to have Jaime come out. I felt strongly enough about this that I created a google account just so I could write a review. Jaime is the absolute best in my book.

This is an excellent service store. They repaired our upright freezer and billed the manufacturer instead of us since it was still under 1 year warranty. Very courteous serviceman. Highly recommended for repairs you need to home appliances.
Ronnie and Brandon came out to check our new fridges ice maker that will not shut off until the ice is overflowing the bin, which in turn pushes the freezer door open... They checked over the total unit and were told to replace the unit... both guys did their job professionally and were also very personable... these type employee s are a pleasure to deal with... The pump on our washing machine stopped functioning. I called on a Monday and had an appointment scheduled for that Thursday! They arrived on time, called 15 minutes before they arrived, were professional and had the broken part already ordered so there was no lag in time in the repair. From the great customer service over the initial car, to their prompt arrival and prepared repair, I HIGHLY recommend A-Tech! Will call again - if I have to.

I would give the ATech technician 5 stars. He seemed to have done everything that could be done to identify the problem. However, I’m giving 3 stars overall because the problem still exists with the refrigerator.
The tech seem to know what he was doing found the problem quickly and gave us a price to work with.
I went into A-Tech to purchase a new start button for my mothers dryer unit because it had stoped working. I had already taken the switch out of the unit and had it in hand when I arrived at their location in Springdale because I thought that it would be easier for them to order a new one if they could see the part number on it for themselves.Once the guy behind the parts counter saw what I had and heard my story of what was going on with the dryer he confidently stated that he didnt believe that the dryer really needed a new switch at all. He recommended that I go back and retrieve the thermal fuse and bring it in so he could check it for continuity. It turned out that the thermal fuse was just fine so the parts guy then reiterated the fact that in the 18 years he had been working for A-Tech he had maybe ordered only 10 start buttons. He recommended that I check the dryer door switch. That made sense so I went ahead and purchased the door switch, took it home and installed it. Sure enough, that was it.Before I had left the store the parts guy was even courteous enough to show me how to pop the top lid of the dryer off so access to the door switch would be a lot easier to get to. When it was all fixed, tested, and put back together I took the time to give him a call say thank you for all of help. He saved us a lot of time and money. If I ever need anything else for an appliance, A-Tech is where I will be going.Thanks, parts guy. Sorry I didnt really catch your name.
Got caught with out a working dryer with family in for the holidays and they were able to get the part overnighted when no one else had or could get until the next week. Great service!
A-Tech told me that my broken washer machine needed replacing, so my landlady purchased a refurbished washer from them. After multiple failures to deliver the washer and failures to call when they said they would, I decided to take the old washer to them and pick up the refurbished one myself. I then went inside to get the number of someone who I could talk to about the horrendous service I had received, but instead the man behind the counter began to argue with me about what he thought good service was (clearly he was confused), while gradually raising his voice. It was at that point that I called him a “f****** idiot” and proceeded to leave. The man then, threw a pen in my face and then came around the counter, and yelling in my face, told me he was going to “kick my a**!!” and calling me a “queer bait”… in the store!!! I was in total shock; I could not believe an employee of a private business would do anything like that, no matter what someone in the store said to him. Of course the washer they gave me was broken when I got to my house, so I called to see what should be done. After all that had happened, and after giving me a broken washer, they told me I had to bring the washer back on my own accord to have them “fix” it!!! I eventually got the owner on the phone, who also clearly does not know how to treat customers, or potential customers, because he attempted to tell me that I was to blame for his employee verbally and physically attacking me and threatening me. I have never been treated so poorly at a business in my entire life and would NEVER recommend A-Tech to anyone. If you have any other option, please use it, for your own good. This is not a false story at all, I have no reason to lie about this as I have nothing to loose here; on the other hand, A-Tech has all of their business to loose, so I would count on them lying to you. Heed this warning!
A-Tech was able to correctly diagnose the problem with our oven - it was a floating neutral in the house’s wiring, and not an oven problem at all. Two other people had already looked at it.
With the help of some research and Farhad at the front desk, I was able to fix my oven with the part that he suggested. Customer service was excellent and they really take care of their customers. I would Highly recommend them for both new and dated appliances.

The technician Jaime was very thorough, helpful, and considerate. I will absolutely use ATech again. Our only issue was that they dont work directly with American Home Shield insurance but they are worth jumping through additional hoops to get them vs. other companies in the area!
John showed up on time, was very informative, professional, and adequately diagnosed the problem.
I called them to get an estimate to replace a bearing on my front load washer. They called me back right away with an estimate. The estimate was $930. So I passed.Thank you for your response, but I can purchase a new front load washing machine for less then $930, and receive a one year warranty on the entire machine.
ATech did a fantastic job. The service tech was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He went the extra mile to get my refrigerator working the same day. He found the part in North Little Rock (I live in Little Rock) and went to get it and came back and had it working!
I purchased a new refrigerator from Metro Appliances in Maumelle and the ice maker stopped working 6 months later. Metros service department referred me to A-Tech appliance since it was still under warranty. They have been out to my house 5 or 6 times and the ice maker is still not working. Would not recommend unless you want to use vacation days sitting at home waiting on unsuccessful repair attempts. Ive had a horrible experience with both Metro and A-Tech, would not recommend.
