Stopped by after I had a flat tire to get it patched and they were very busy, so I just left my tire to be fixed and picked it up after work. They fixed my tire and put it back on my car and did not charge me for the service. I was stunned and very impressed with their Customer service. They did not make one cent from me that day, but they will from now on. Thats what Customer service is all about. Sean the store manger gets it!

Im not sure whats going on with this place, but after my oil change, my car was making a funny sound. THEY FORGOT TO REPLACE THE UNDERCARRIAGE SKID COVER! I was of course frustrated and came back... Then as they lifted my car... They damaged the side panels. They are definitely going to hear from me on this.

Great customer service. Competitive pricing.I had the pleasure of Brandon helping me out. While my car was being serviced, I witnessed Brandon educating some other customers on an issue their car was having. He pointed out on the car what he was seeing and how that was impacting his recommendation for service.He also worked with another store to get the tires I requested brought in. Really nice experience.

This location on W Kemper got me scheduled for the same day I called to inquire about services. My oil/filter change and tire rotation went seamlessly and I am very pleased with the service by my tech and also Cory at the counter. I took my SUV to have an issue addressed, too much play in the steering wheel, and was told that I needed inner tie rod ends, idler arm, and idler arm bracket with alignment. I spent over $700 which I thought was excessive but I really needed to get the work done, only to pick up my truck after completion of repairs with my steering wheel 45 degrees off to the right in order to drive straight.. I was told to come back and they would correct the issue but when I did the next day I was told that they would not work on my truck due to that was the best that they could do with the equipment settings that they have and recommended that I go somewhere else to have my alignment addressed when I just paid $90 there. I called customer service to have the issue addressed and was directed to go to a different location to do so. The work performed at the other location improved the situation but my steering is still 10 degrees off to the right. I am now questioning all of the work performed on my vehicle being done properly if at all and now I have to spend extra money to have the previous work inspected and alignment corrected on my vehicle. I do not recommend this location.

At first I thought it was a good place to fix my car then I realized they are not good at all, not truthful. It became the worst garage Ive ever been. They financed me to get my car fixed and put 4 new tires, just a day after fixing my car I noticed some new issues popped up in my car, I got back to them for fixing those issues noticed they asked me to pay again. It sounded like a game trying to make me pay more and more. Think twice before going to fix your car there!

I do not recommend this place to very lazy workers, I signed up for an hour of the day to replace the sensor in the wheel, they started working with my car only after 45 minutes and 45 minutes later they changed the sensor, in the end I waited almost 2 hours with the replacement of one sensor in one wheel !!

Made a phone call today to see if I could get a price on a muffler by phone & was told I have to bring the car in. I said okay, I’ll be by shortly. I get there & was asked to drop the car off the next day. That doesn’t work for me for more than one reason so I kindly let the guy working know that I just called & told them I was coming by. He said that they were only taking appointments and only had one guy working. I left and went to Midas and they had my estimate done in just a few minutes.

I’ve been going to Springdale’s Car-X for many years and always had a good experience. Last Wednesday I went in for a tire check and Cory told me they’d take care of it. I had bought all four tires from them the year before with the full roadside package etc. A young man pulled the car in and checked the tire. He did not communicate anything to me but left and went next door (another oil change garage) and returned. After 45 minutes with no one working on the car, I left to get a bite. About 40 minutes later, Cory called to tell me I would need to replace the tire. He said there was a nail imbedded where it couldn’t be repaired. I wondered why no one had shared this information with me while I was there. He said they would prorate the tire but I had to pay again for the warranty. I wasn’t happy but told him to go ahead. When I returned to the store, he told me the sensor on the tire was broken so I will see the light on. Baffled by this statement, I told him that the light was off when I came in. He said that it probably broke off when they took the tire off so they will take care of it. I had scheduled an oil change with them for Friday so I decided to have them go ahead and do it since I was now there 2 hours. They did the oil change and two and a half hours later I was on my way home . I realized that I got a standard oil change and not the recommended full synthetic that is recommended for my car. It seems to me that the young man who worked on my car was inexperienced. I’m not happy with the lack of communication once the problem was initially detected. I’m very reluctant to return to this Car-X.

I’ve been taking my cars here for several years and have never once had a problem, the work is always well done and timely, and the prices are more than fair. Dan and the staff are friendly and understanding and go out of their way to be sure you are happy with the service you receive.

The employees are nice and friendly. However it can take up to 90 minutes even with an appointment, just to get a 10 minute oil change and the employees won’t tell you why there is a hold up unless you take the initiative to ask them yourself. How does an oil change place not have filters in stock?

Already had a problem with the Mason, OH Car-x but I decided to go to this one a while back for an oil change. This time I got my own oil change and decided to do it myself. When I crawled under my car to take out my drain plug, I found oka COMPLETELY ROUNDED DRAIN PLUG that was put in so tight Im going to have to drill it out. I am so disappointed with Car-x and now have to spend more money to fix my car. Please avoid Car-x!

Took two days!! just to get a coolant flush and the thermostat replaced. A 30 minute job! The employees looked over worked and frustrated as they kept on saying to me how they were short staffed, and had a high work load.I new exactly what was wrong with my car but they insisted on wasting their time on doing a diagnostic check. This place needs to learn to just listen to what the customer wants and do it and not waste their time.Im new to the area and it was the first time going to a Car X, and I will never go back again. Car X definitely needs better standards for there franchises.The only reason this place is probably still in business is because there isnt enough competition in the area.

I took my car here on what I would consider a regular basis. The last service my car received was an oil change. My car was running fine. No problems prior to that last service. Mind you they had serviced my tires, ac/heat system a month prior. When asked if my car was in good shape and that I wouldnt need anything anytime soon the guy said everything was fine. A day after getting the oil change my car went completely down. It would start but rumbled badly and would not stay running. I expressed my concerns and they said it would be $499 to get it up and going again. Needless to say, it was going to take a while to get the $499 and I just had so much work done in terms of tires, battery and ac/heat, I felt played. They got me. Just like another customer that was expressing her concerns the same day I was met with the disappointment of my car, that the mechanic said was in good shape and would be ok for a while a day after getting my routine tune up. Mechanics already get a bad rap. Im sure most people are aware of the claims that are often true that they can and will do something to your car to cause you to come back. Well, I didnt go back. I could not afford another inconvenience, financially or otherwise. My car is still sitting. Im mustering up the nerve to trust another mechanic. Its like a catch 22. You need your car, your car needs maintenance, but all the side show schemes are too taxing. It seems silly that the tactic of tampering with someones car so they have to return is a way to play the game because once the review gets out a person has information that will ultimately determine if they do business with you. It will ultimately limit customer traffic if your reviews are not good. Just because my experience became bad doesnt mean yours will. Just be cautious. **Update, I took my car to another mechanic and not to my surprise, but confirming of my initial suspicions, The well intended mechanic didnt take his job seriously nor did he care about how this would effect the customer. Everything he was supposed to fix, he didnt. So, to each his own. But I wont be going back.**

Gave me a fantastic price on new brakes and rotors and fixed my caliper after it locked up. They fixed it very fast and with very short notice, luckily I had a car to drive so I was able to leave it while they made repairs. We got to talk to the manager while we were there and he was very straight forward and friendly. He even started talking with us about videogames we played. Very nice and honest staff definitely would get work done here again.

Dan the manager must have gotten tired of being nice and honest because he did the basic bait and switch on me. I called him and asked him how much it would be to change the front wheel bearing on my car. He told me it was $370.00 to do if he got the part. I asked him how much it was if I got the part and he told me it was $200.00 plus tax.I went ahead and got the part and took it in to him and he told me it was $216.00 plus tax but I would have to bring it back because it was too late to start before they were going to close. I said thats fine and I would bring it back in the morning.The next morning I took the car back and he looked it up again and said it was $260.00 plus tax with an additional $20.00 for shop supplies. With tax it was $291.00. I was floored that he basically added $100.00 to the original quote. I voiced my displeasure and told him what he had told me the day before and he stated Oh, thats right, I remember talking to you. He then proceeded to try and give me a discount of $20.00. Since I didnt have time to find another place to do it so I said OK but it was quite irritating that after all these good reviews I get the bait and switch from these guys. Never again will they be seeing me or my money.

After purchasing new tires, the tires have continued to shake and pull. There have not been the appropriate or corrective measures within the management or from upper level administration to satisfy this matter. Because of faulty equipment, the wrong tires placed on my car and/or just a poor facility, I had taken my car back 3-4 times to have the tires re-balanced. Dan, the manager FINALLY informed me that his machine was faulty and that I wasnt the only customer experiencing this issue. I asked for the District Managers contact because in addition to the tire issue, my car was also damaged while there. The number he gave me was to a person named Roger. Further, he asked me to take it elsewhere and he would reimburse me for the balancing. Once presenting the receipt, he then said that I would be reimbursed within 3-4 business days. About a month later, I called, complaining about the same problem with the balance and inquired about my reimbursement. The manager THEN told me that it would take about 30 days and that he informed me of this upon our initial conversation about the reimbursement. However, that was NOT true. He then told me that he would talk to his district manager and would call me back right back. This was on a Thursday. After not hearing back from him, I called him back on a Tuesday. He then LIED AGAIN and said that he informed me to bring the car in to inspect it before he would put new tires on my vehicle. I asked for his District Managers number AGAIN. This time, he gave me a name other than Roger. Once I questioned him, he said No-Roger is my tire inventory guy. However, he did NOT say that to me, which was ANOTHER lie! To date, the problem yet exists. I wish there was a zero rating, as I would mark that. Unfortunately, it doesnt go beyond a rating of 1. This management processed a wealth of inaccuracies within his framework of misinformation and holds no accountability to his word. As well, he assumed that I was an idiot in that he felt as if he could feed me enough to push me away due to being discouraged. However, this will NOT happen! Thus, I am pursuing legal avenues to correct his actions. I wouldnt return to this shop if it were offering a million dollars for my toe clippings!

I had a wonderful experience at this location! i have a hybrid car and was worried about getting service outside of the dealership (where i usually go) I found a coupon for an oil change so i visited this CarX store, the manager Dan was super friendly and helpful, he explained how my car works and although they cant service my engine or transmission he told me about the rest of the services they can provide for my car and how its way more affordable than going to my local dealers service center. What a GREAT group of techs. I brought my car in bc my AC was not working and I had been previously told it was my discharge hose. I just wanted to get an estimate of what it would cost to fix this issue. Once I got there, Dan, the manager spent some time speaking with me to get a clear understanding of what exactly was not working. He took a look under the hood and then pulled it around and hooked it up to the machine to run a test of the AC. Come to find out, the place I took it originally was completely wrong with what they told me needed to be done. Dan was VERY honest and helpful. He brought me into the bay and showed me exactly what the issue was. He told me it would be best to have a GM mechanic look at it and work on it. The problem was not even the AC. I will DEFINATELY be returning to this location in the future. I felt comfortable and knew they were being 100% honest with me and not trying to rip me off. They even threw a few pound of refrigerant in my car for no charge. I cannot express how great the customer service was and how satisfied I was with my experience there.

Took my car in for the rear brakes, as I had a terrible price quote from another shop. Dan the manager was very friendly, honest, and even convinced me to get the rear shocks done (they were a little old, and starting to leak). I got a great deal on brakes and shocks, and it cost me $100 less than what the other shop quoted me just for brakes! Very satisfied with the service, and will come back again!

I have been doing business with CarX in Springdale for many years. Last visit, I found the waiting area very tidy. The service time was expeditious. During other visits that required more in depth service, my questions were answered so I could understand what caused the problem and why the repair/s were necessary. Everyone was courteous and the pricing was reasonable. I will return again.

I have an RV oversized van which had a complicated exhaust issue other places wouldnt touch. These guys are true gear heads that take pride in their work and seem to enjoy a challenge. It took several weeks to get the parts they needed and figure out what was causing the problems but they kept at it till it was done right at a satisfactory price. I also want to add something that touched my heart. This elderly woman was waiting for her car when one of their techs came up to her ( after hooking it up to OBDs to figure out why the engine light was on). Well, He handed her the keys and said the gas cap was loose and explained how to properly tighten it, and told her their was no charge. The worried look on her face disappeared. A good manager thats good at listening also. We are glad this CarX crew is close to our home cause we really trust them. Lets help keep these guys in business!🍺

Took my car in to get an oil change on October 20th. Turns out they did the oil change wrong because 3 weeks later, I had no oil in my car and therefore the engine started ticking. We called and pointed out they messed it up because my dad is a mechanic and they towed it and fixed it for free which was great. Until 5 days after they swore it was fixed, I was on the highway and my engine started ticking again and within seconds my engine blew up and my car went off the side of the highway and caught on fire within seconds while I was still in there but luckily I got out before it got too bad. We called Car X to be reimbursed the blue book value of my car that THEY messed up and they refuse to compensate us because its not their problem. They knowingly sent me out in a car that THEY knew the engine would blow any second while I was driving and I had told them how much I drive for work and take the highway and therefore put myself and others drivers in a dangerous and couldve been, a fatal situation. Theyre lucky I was in the leftmost lane and went off the side of the highway instead of the middle where I couldve collided with another car and couldve killed them considering my vehicle caught on fire within seconds. Please think twice before ever going here
