My wife and I recently got into mountain biking and since I had bought my kayak from Lewis and Clark several years ago, we decided to buy our bikes there as well. Taylor is the rep that has helped me and I’ve had a ton of questions since we are new to mountain biking. She was and has continued to be extremely patient, knowledgeable, and helpful. Lewis and Clark has competitive prices and they also offer lifetime tuneups. I’m very happy with my decision and look forward to being a longtime customer. They’ve got great coffee too!

Unfortunately, Lewis & Clark isn’t what it used to be. Myself and a handful of my coworkers all purchased bikes here recently and at least 3 of us have had nothing but problems. None of us were sized/fitted for our bikes, despite asking. I know at least 2 of us had to take the bike right back and get adjustments made due to bad initial builds. Most recently, I have had issues with my pinky and ring fingers going numb during bike rides. I went to the Springdale location, asked the worker in the bike area and he said he’d never heard of that issue. I told him a friend at work immediately knew of that type of issue and had suggestions. This prompted the worker to ask if I’d like him to ask someone else. I said yes, and he asked if I could bring the bike inside while he went and asked someone else. I brought the bike in, the worker came back and simply said to get “ergonomic handlebars”. I asked if there was any reason why this was suggested, and what may be the cause. He asked another coworker walking by, and she just repeated exactly what he told me. Didn’t look at the bike I brought in, didn’t ask me to test ride, didn’t ask any questions. This isn’t the only poor experience I’ve had with them, but the most recent. I plan on selling my bike and buying a new one from one of the many alternative local bike shops. Super disappointed since I remember wanting to work there when I was young.

Lewis and Clark in Springdale was amazing! My family and I updated bikes this year and ran over to this shop and they we’re so friendly and helpful. We ordered a bike and was IMPATIENTLY (sorry for all the calls, guys!) waiting for it to come, just wanted to take it out and ride! And they didn’t mind me calling to make sure the bike was coming and to ask for any updates. They were so accommodating and patient.

Always friendly and that must be tough when everyone wants a bike and there aren’t any to sell

Took my bike here to have it tuned, they did an outstanding job and even fixed some issues I didnt know I had. Great job guys. Will definitely return and highly recommend them.

Great selection of gear for all kinds of interests and likes! I have received top notch service on my bike from Alex. He is helpful and knowledgeable about every kind of bicycle. I personally do not own a Giant/Liv bike, but would definitely purchase from Lewis and Clark. They are right on the Greenway, making them a perfect place to test ride and purchase a bike. I have heard rave reviews on their warranty and service post-purchase. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

I bought a cross core Yamaha e-bike from Lewis and Clark about a year ago and have been totally 100% satisfied with performance and service from Lewis and Clark. I’m 79 years old and have ridden bikes most of my life but developed some health problems and the e-bike was one of the best investments I’ve ever made ! They are fantastic ! Brayden their mechanic did aConversion of changing over the mechanical disc brakes to hydraulic discBrakes and a different stem and handlebars and grips to personalize the bike for me. I love it it fits me perfectly ! He is the best and very personable and the best part he cares he is the epitome of what Lewis and Clark stands for “service and customer first” thanks Lewis and Clark Bill Kennedy a very happy and satisfied customer

Great staff made us feel right at home. Built bike same day so that we didnt have to make another trip (3.5 hour drive). We have found our bike shop!

This place does things right! I had a snowboard boot that needed repair, so I called and my guy Kirk fixed it in a couple of hours and even worked on my other boot just because he could, and didn’t have to. Great company, great people, great service. Go to Lewis and Clark!

I have been a customer of Lewis and Clark since they opened. We have purchased four bikes, Canoes and recently purchased a couple of E Bikes. The entire staff is so friendly it’s unbelievable. You don’t get that in many businesses if any. Melissa helped us through our purchase of many items as well as our Bikes and has literally been the best customer service person I have ever dealt with In any business anywhere. Also meeting the owner there before our purchase totally helped us decide this is where we are going to spend our money. What an amazing Guy. This is a great place to purchase a bike. I was allowed to test bikes around Lake Fayetteville until I found the perfect bike for me. This was plenty of distance to see if I really wanted a bike or not. I felt secure with the bike I purchased and one perk of buying it here, is I can take it back anytime for a tuneup. One of my favorite parts of the store is the rock climbing wall.

Joshua and Brayden did a great job communicating and maintaining over 30 bikes for our elementary school! Very thorough, detailed and maintained safety measures. The students are very excited to get back to riding.

We have had SUCH amazing service and support from Lewis & Clark. Once we bought our first hybrid bikes there in 2015 we were hooked. (There should be some warning about cyclings addictive properties...) If repeat purchases are any indication, we have bought a total of 11 bikes from them for ourselves and family members. After mountain biking at Lake Fayettville my family and I decided to visit Lewis & Clark to kill some time. First to enter the store was my wife and little girl. I came in a few minutes later. What stood out to me specifically about this visit was when my little girl asked questions, she was taken seriously by the cycling staff. Unlike other businesses, I observed the staff taking the time to answer a long winded child shopping in the cycling area. Being a experienced cyclist myself, I was pleased to see a respectful and attentive staff meeting the needs of all its customers... no matter what their age was. Great customer service and a motivated staff have made my daughters experience at Lewis & Clark enjoyable, with that said I will continue to shop at Lewis & Clark.

I primarily shop at L&C for bikes and service. I have a 2020 Giant Fathom 1. Like most bike shops during the pandemic, their inventory is fluid and somewhat limited. Ive been very pleased with their responsiveness and ability to perform triage to get me rolling. They provide exceptional customer service. For major repairs you may need to schedule an appointment. Keep up the good work!

I went in after work to buy a pair of Hoka shoes and sandels Monday on 03/05. They looked straight at me, the girl wearing red scrubs, and said nothing. I looked about to try and find the shoes only to find single shoe displays which would except no on came. I spent over $300 that day at your competitor!

This is the worst bike shop in NWA, they are only concerned about making money. They do not care about there customers I am so shocked by the lack of customer service. Please do not buy from here, would not recommend to a friend.

Quality bikes at a decent price. If you are going to Fayetteville, prepare to stand in line for a long time. The crew is pretty good at ignoring the long line of customers. Very helpful once they engage. Rogers customer service is top notch

The staff are always friendly and helpful here. We love this place. While you wont find cheap equipment at L&C, its important to remember that you get what you pay for. They carry the best equipment around.Plus they have a great indoor rock wall to climb.

I had the great opportunity to work here when I was between jobs because of the pandemic. It was a dream of mine to work with bikes and they gave me a chance to do that. I learned a lot of family values that I have now taken with me since getting a different job and am incredibly thankful for the time I spent here. Even after, I rode my bike to work for 3 months straight because Brayden and Josh the service technicians in the bike shop encouraged me and taught me how to to that well, including helping me build my own bike! Every time I’ve been in since I know that those two guys along with many others there are willing to go above and beyond to help me learn and do better with my biking journey.If you need someone that will genuinely care about your situation and your specific needs for biking ask josh or Brayden and they will be your valued friend for a lot longer than just your initial purchase or service.

The Tour de Taco was a nice event for people of all ages! Only suggestion would be to have first aide and minor repair stations throughout the route. Overall, it was fun!

I thought it was great. The only suggestion I would have is clarify the 30 mile turn around point. Your Brochure was very clear but Actual mileage was right at 16 miles. So there were people that turned around at 15 miles, just short of the actual turn around point. Probably because they either didn’t thoroughly read your material or they just didn’t know they area. But we’ll done.

Today we had an outstanding customer service experience, and I feel like it was representative of every encounter we’ve had at the Lewis and Clark in Springdale. I’ve never left a review but it is long overdue. We entered the store not expecting to have much luck find the bikes we have been looking for because so many things have been sold out this year. Regardless we were still interested in getting more familiar with what we might want and what size bikes the family needs. The employees were very knowledgeable, helped us get sized for bikes, and ended up finding us the last bike in stock in my husband size and brand he was searching for. After adjusting it for him we felt confident it was the perfect bike. We were so grateful for the staff and how professional they are at Lewis and Clark! NWA is lucky to have this place!

Awesome customer service. Everyone was so helpful. Bought a bike light for my 5 yr old grandsons new bike & they gave me a small bike bell. Found a sales rack with kids winter clothes & purchased a Patagonia jacket for $8, a 90% discount!For a one time charge of $10, you get a 10% store credit on every purchase with no expiration. Only down side is the limited selection & they dont have a decent web site, but I will definitely go back!!

This is one of my go-to outdoor outfitters in NWA. The staff is always super friendly and very hospitable. They have a great selection of quality outdoor gear. My only qualm is that they dont have a lot of sales or discounted items. Be prepared to pay full price for most things. If you can hit a sale this is a great place to shop.

The staff at Lewis & Clark are the best. I was not sure whether I had the skills and supplies for a float trip on the Buffalo and a young lady helped me to not only build my confidence, but informed me of the best type of clothing and camping supplies to have on hand. She and some of the staff upstairs gave me some maps and information on Kyles Landing and who to call for more information on the river level. I ended up having a great float and an awesome camping experience. Youre the Best!

Great bike store. They have a good part of the Giant catalog in the store and the best part is that they have almost all frame sizes available too, which for me was a decision point because my wife is short (52) and usually is hard to find a bike that she likes with her size (XS). The staff is friendly and helpful.

They take care of their customers. We have road our bikes up there several times from South Fayetteville, and they always are willing to check air or give quick adjustments. Customer Service is always excellent.
