First time trying; dont get down this way often. Very rich, bold coffee with the iced mocha. The iced mocha with coconut milk adds the perfect twist for a German chocolate flavor. Excellent coffee; highly recommend.

Their version of a frozen mocha was only ok. It kind of tasted like the frappe mixes you can purchase at the grocery store And kind of had a gritty texture.

Used to be Onyx, basically still is. Lobby hours are currently kind of weird, but I love spending time here. Drinks may seem expensive if youre used to something like Starbucks, but the quality is incomparable. Decent food options in the morning.

Now days, that can be hard to come by. Also, every one of their locations has its own flavor of decoration and design that is top notch compared to other places you may have grown accustomed to. Make sure to stop by and see all their locations - you will not be disappointed and in for quite the treat! I happened to have the spring seasonal Iced Coconut Milk Lavendar Latte. The Barista went above and beyond with the presentation - much appreciated!

Onyx has some of the best tasting coffee I have ever tried! They serve a variety of coffees in a variety of pours, and they are local. Always a great choice!

A little price y. Got a frozen drink with an extra shot and still couldnt really taste the coffee... This is something I deal with at most places. Its a personal thing I just really like to taste the coffee. I probably should have asked for half flavor? We got macarons. They are very pricey but oh so delicious... And gluten-free.

The Ethiopian Natural is out of this world. Got a try it with croissant!

Update:Red Kite is the real deal. I had been frequenting this location (as an Onyx Coffee Lab) for years and was skeptical about someone else coming in. But I’m happy to say that RK (which brews and sells Onyx beans and works closely with them) is equally good — offering many of the same drinks (Onyx Delight & Coffee Phosphate being our long-standing favorites), AND some exciting and delicious concoctions that are all their own (like their wonderful Savy [sic] Travy salted mocha and this to-die-for Honey Bitters Cappuccino & One, pictured here). Since the decor remains unchanged, it’s still got the same warm, inviting, laidback vibe, and the baristas have proven to be every bit as talented and friendly. In a word, I’m impressed. And, I’m actually glad that RK decided to come in and give Springdale something to crow about!

Onyx is the best coffee shop in the South! Wish we had one in Dallas! As a Third Wave fanatic with a sister in Northwest Arkansas, this is one of my staples!

Local coffee spot with great baristas and good coffee and tea. Only complaint is, they have no intercom system. Therefore, the line can get backed up. Worth the wait if you have the time.

Not the best, not the worst. Itll do.The coffee is good and the barista team is great. Also, the baked goods are delicious. My only real complaint is seating/space. It has been a consistent issue when my friends and I visit that the larger tables are occupied by one person who has spread out and taken the entire space. It would be nice to have areas set aside for larger groups to sit, instead of having to crowd around a small table.

Great place to get coffee! Usually in and out quick after 9am. They use Onyx coffee brands and menu but are phasing it over to their own unique brand and menu.

The only complaint I have is that my cup was not big enough. My coffee was absolutely delicious. So much better then the other guys. Pretty nice coffee house experience. I will definitely go back.

Trendy vibe + high end coffee.Onyx knows their coffee and it is luxury. If you want to dive in deep view their website where they are very transparent about it.Why I love this location? It has a drive through for those busy days. They play soft music and the inside atmosphere is modern, clean lined, and not at all stuffy.Youll find a variety of people here from college kids, business meetings, and neighborhood locals.Bring the partner, the kids, or a date. I think youll love it.

A really aesthetically pleasing cafe. The coffee is great, I recommend the Onyx Delight. The pastries are delicious, its also one of the only places around you can buy macaroons. However they do sometimes go stale before being replaced. The prices arent too bad but $2 for a sticker is a little much.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very dark but with lots of natural light. The coffee is very good. Highly recommend.

If I could live on one liquid alone, I would want it to be Onyx coffee. Every time I go, I have a great experience, from the customer service to the delicious drink offerings. You will never be disappointed with anything you get here. They roast all their own coffee that they also source themselves - its an unbeatable place to learn about the amazing qualities of coffee in the world.

Onyx makes excellent coffee, and this new Rogers location is great all around. They have renovated a historic building into an incredibly beautiful space. Lots of seating an natural light. Its a relaxing experience just to visit.

Alright coffee for an alright price. They affect a cosmopolitan air, but in my opinion put a bit too many flavorings in the coffee. Good coffee has a simple amount of additives rather than masking the coffee itself.Onyx is a bit too proud of being able to add things rather than just enjoy the taste ipso facto.They do seem earnest, and arent artificial like Starbucks, they just arent my cup of coffee.

I enjoy this coffee shop. If you dont see exactly what youre craving on the menu, just tell them what you want. They will fix you up. They also have a nice meeting room that can be reserved for groups.

I do not live in the area but was passing through and got into a car accident. A police officer took me to this coffee shop so I could wait to be picked up, and the barista who took my order paid for my coffee. It was incredibly thoughtful given what I had just been through. If anyone thinks there arent good people left in the world, go here! The coffee is absolutely wonderful as well. The mocha kind of has a spiciness to it which was absolutely delicious!

Great coffees, good seating capacity. I have found Onyxs beans can be quite bitter and roasted on the dark side (if you prefer a medium roast, go for a light instead). If youre buying beans, theyre better for espressos or percolators than pour overs or french press makers.

This is a great place for a quiet coffee or a group meeting. My favorite is their hot latte - plain.

The quintessential coffee experience. Friendly staff, good brews, and the staff hustles. This means a lot. I can handle a small wait during a rush, but it is easier when I can see the staff moving as if they really care. Good job.

Very poor customer service and product. I ordered an avocado toast with egg for $6.50. This seemed expensive but I thought it would be worth it. Not at all! I wouldn’t pay more than $3 for what I was given. The quality of product was subpar for the price. White bread with a thin spread of avocado. This is the second time I’ve had an issue with this place. There is no consistency at Onyx Coffee Lab in Springdale, AR. Some of the staff I have interacted with have had an arrogant attitude rather than being kind and helpful. I wasn’t even offered anything in exchange for the poor quality. I don’t go to an, “upscale, small batch” coffee shop to be treated poorly and pay high prices and not even be offered to correct the issue or offer an alternative. I’d rather go to Starbucks. At least I know I’ll be getting what I pay for and the customer service will be better. I expect more out of a local shop.

Every one of the workers at Onyx are amazing and the coffee even more so. Ive been going for about three years now at least twice a week and Ive never left with a frown on my face or a paper unfinished. Ive tried everything on the menu & there isnt a bad pick in the bunch. Stop in if you havent tried it before, every menu item is thoughtfully & craftfully created and sourced and the owners John & Andrea are hilarious. Theyve definitely mastered coffee & the best atmosphere to enjoy it in.

So I cannot get enough of this coffee. So much better than the other big chain coffee stores. You can just taste the difference. At first it didnt seem like a lot of options but the coffeee is so much better it so worth it. I buy the onyx delight. Its sweet and gives me a kick for my day. I have tried a few other items on the menu but thats my favorite. I really wish they would do an online menu though. Still this is my first choice for coffee.

I really really love onyx! But the last few times, I have ordered specifically what I want. And they have put the wrong milk in it. And I cant even drink it, its been nasty. I will still go here, I would just like my coffe to be correct and taste good.

This café may not be an eye catcher from the outside but, inside youll find the most responsible baristas and a beautifully modern decorated place with pretty chill music. I enjoyed hanging out here. It felt comforting and welcoming. Ive never heard of Onyx Coffee before so entering here was a surprise. Its almost like a hidden gem since its right next to a gym. 😃

Im a huge fan of all Onyx Coffee Lab locations. When I need a little rocket power and creativity boost I post up here. Love the house coffee and always have a craving for the Onyx Delight with Almond Milk.

Such a cool/trendy place to get caffeinated!! The white chocolate truffle (or truffle of your choice) is my absolute favorite! Its so yummy if you like a sweet coffee dessert. The speed ball is great if youre really needing an extra boost.

If you live in the NWA area, youre missing out if you dont go to Onyx on a regular basis. A perfect homework spot, first date, or relaxing afternoon. The atmosphere screams coffee shop. I recommend their hot chocolate because they sprinkle this black salt on top that is unique to Onyx

I like the vibe. Service consistently good. Their non-coffee options are good. Patio is a big plus when the weather is right. They offer a separate meeting area, too, which is nice.

Im a local small business owner and go through this drive-thru around 3 times a week. I switch up my order, and yesterday I decided to get an iced coffee. I paid $2 that the lady asked for and she said it would be a minute. Five minutes later the lady told me that she had only charged me half (it was actually $4 (for iced coffee!)) and she asked for the additional amount while handing me my coffee.For any business, this is unethical. If you make a mistake and say the wrong amount, you eat that difference. I paid it anyways.Onyx also has gotten rid of their whipped cream, soy milk, and a few other norms of coffee shops. This really surprised me. I think they are getting too cocky about their stand-alone coffee, when half of Americans like the frills of coffee. Im confused how this coffee shop is as successful as it is.

Oh my gosh. These people understand coffee. I have been there twice now, on visits to Bentonville from Tulsa. The first time I went I had an espresso and a pour over and they were both fantastic. This last time, I had the Onyx shake which is coffee, coconut cream, and Coco. It’s basically the flavor of ice cream and the texture of a shake and coffee all at the same time. With all the other things I did in Bentonville for my day trip, I’d say that might have been the highlight. It was an excellent way to kick off my day trip with my husband, especially with the weather being so hot outside.

Onyx is by far the best place to enjoy coffee in NWA. The atmosphere is fantastic, and you really cant beat their coffee. Fresh roasted and... I am actually drooling thinking about their dark roast. Havent tried the food yet, but that is high on my priority list.

Im confused that this is Red kite, but everything still screams Onyx. But thats ok. They have made consistently good perfectly microfoamed lattes since changing to Red Kite, which I was not expecting because I dont like the Fayetteville Red Kite. Onyx worthy coffee with Red kite on the door. Im ok with that. They dont accept the Onyx gift cards anymore, but do have punch cards and a drive thru. If they stay this consistent with quality, Im good.

I was looking forward to trying something local and trying to step away from the chains. I ordered the Nitro cold brew, but I just wasnt a fan. I had to add my own sweetener and cream, but it still was kind of bitter to me. The macarons were amazing though. For the price, I expected to be blown away, and I just wasnt. YMMV.
