This store sells papaya, cauliflower, lettuce and some veggies with molds. Manager should see to it that all produce should be fresh as soon as store opens in the morning. So disgusting. Better go to Hmart in Burke.

I buy crabs, bulgogi, marinated meats, sushi and the restaurant is good. The vegetables is a hit or miss. I try to stay away from the veggies because sometimes they aren’t as fresh as they should be.

First time in a Lotte. I only had about 10 minutes to peruse but was excited at the options. I was a bit concerned about products clearly noted that should be refrigerated out in the middle area, not being refrigerated (I noticed noodles and soups). Also, some items had expired dates so keep an eye out for that. Otherwise store was clean and seemed to be following Covid protocols. Can’t wait to return and shop for various foods.

You need to know what youre looking for if you cant read Korean (I cant). You need basic Spanish for customer service, though you dont use quite as much Spanish here as you do to shop the Manassas Park H-Mart bakery. But remember that this is a Korean store serving one of Northern Virginias densest Korean enclaves. They would still do good business if not a single white person went there ever. Remember that, dont be outraged that this is not a space made for you and you have no privilege here, and enjoy the huge selection, great prices, and the amazing Korean deli.Yes, you are a foreigner in what is not and never has been YOUR country, most of those people have legal status or citizenship and they choose to speak Korean. America has no official language. If you hate it here, youd REALLY hate South Florida, where everyone speaks Spanish, will not speak English with you because they have wealth and power of their own and dont need to beg for yours, and makes more money than you and your Gainesville McMansion. Guess what, having access to the most diverse food options in the country means living in the most diverse place in the country. You cant have on without the other. Get over it snowflake. Part of the fun of these places is you dont know what youre getting even if they DO romanize it. Lotte just doesnt, but no real difference.

Customer service is Zero. Employees are not nice at all. Exists in America but Do not even have any English then acting like their right. Lotte plaza has to realize that they are doing business in The US not in Korea. Do not even have basic human relations starting from their customer service to cashiers. Very unfortunate.

This a good store to buy Indian or Asian groceries. It has Korean, Chinese Japanese and Indian foods available. We are big fans of the jackfruit and this shop carries it when in season

I use to like lotte market but likely everything that I buy from there it seem so DRY/OLD/ MOLDY. I just 4/26/2021 BOUGHT 30 counts of line and non of them had JUICE, the cucumber was all moldy. It seems all the products are 👎. Thats all they had.... if I were you guys I would think twice before buying from there

They are price gouging disinfectants during the pandemic, $10 for small hand sanitizer and $18 for a gallon of Clorox Bleach! Not to mention rotting fruits and veggies. Never coming here again. I posted a pic of the price of bleach, totally wrong of them to charge that much. SHAME on you Lotte Plaza Market. Stores in DC have been sued for charging $13 for a gallon of Clorox, and you all charge $18. Stop this price gouging of essentials immediately.

Hard to find an item like refrigerated broth packets. A man who was checking stocked items didn’t even want to help or answer my question. I had to call him three times until he finally peeked at me.. He even gave me wrong aisle number to look.. Plus, they are not keeping noodle broth in refrigerator or freezer. It was just left out on aisle 3 at the bottom.

I recently purchased beef heart, beef kidney and chicken necks from this Lotte market. When I went to open the package, each one was spoiled. The odor was so strong I had to immediately throw them out into the garage. Sadly, I will no longer buy my meats here.

A great market with good prices and good produce and a really nice selection of groceries. The sushi shop located in the store sucks. Mostly rice and barely anything else. If youre looking for convenient market sushi, go to HMart instead, its way better.

Lotte is a terrific Asian/International grocery. Prices are very good on a wide range of goods, both food and household/cookware, but US-sourced foods seem to be more expensive than at other stores. As seems to be typical of Asian grocers in the Metro area, the assortment, quality, and prices of fresh produce and seafood are excellent .

Yesterday we went most of the vegetables are spoiled.. Instead of throwing, they are selling it. Got okra, beans etc. Almost all vegetables are spoiled. Got 3 coconut,.. All of them spoiled.. Worst experience. Earlier vegetables will be in fair condition. Now its worst. I will never go again and I dont recommend anyone going.

Clean Korean market with a good selection of Asian food. They usually have several stations with free samples in the back of the store. It has been easy to find parking, even on weekends. The location right next to the beltway makes shopping here very convenient.

Great place to buy veggies, fruit, fish and all kinds of foods from all over the world, mostly Asian. You can buy precooked Korean dishes, kimchi and sushi. You can find Korean skin care products and Korean yummy street food inside of this store!

Good selection of International Foods & Products. However produce is considerably more expensive than the other local international markets. I would not say that the majority of the employees are friendly. There are a few exceptions that will help you if you would like to learn how to prepare Asian Cuisine. Weekends are Fantastic Four going to each of the major Stations of the store and getting samples. I have found many new Foods drinks and condiments that I buy regularly

Strikingly clean and orderly Korean grocery store. Has nice restaurant area with both Korean dishes and sushi offerings; the prices are very reasonable and (counter) service fast and friendly. Not a huge place, but everything was easy to find with obvious and relevant signage.

This is an excellent Asian grocery store. The vegetables are beautiful and fresh. The meats and seafood are are fresh and reasonably priced. Lotte also has a small in house restaurant with delicious and reasonably priced Korean dishes.

Rice wine regular price 4.49. Store special 4.99. H mart regular price 3.99. LOTTE cheat customer like this. Almost every products are more expensive than H mart. The sales items are not on sale, be careful. Compare the price of ramyuns, snacks, meats, beer.. everything expensive.

I love this grocery store, great produce with lots of variety! So many noodle options, fresh, dried, frozen. Super nice employees that are very helpful with making suggestions on how to prepare an item...some things are not in English and I do not read Korean...so this is a huge help! Always fun to go here with my boys!

It is a good store overall. However; the main reason I am giving this one star because of the rude staff and workers in the store. They are definitely not a family friendly store. Went over there with my kids, and was treated badly. They will shout out at your kids if they touch anything. Not sure if they treated us this way because of my kids or because I am not Korean.

I got a six pack of Snapple Apple here about a week ago. When I came I saw the packaging was a little damaged in the front so I asked if they had any others or if this one was old and was assured it was fresh. Everything was fine until I reached the last bottle and tasted it. It was fizzy and tasted like wine, to my surprise I checked the exp date and that one bottle was expired on June of 2017. disgusting.

Nice Asian themed supermarket. Reasonably clean with a nice staff. Great place to get samples to eat on Saturday and Sunday evenings.

Really nice place to go if you want asian ingredients, spices, or food. They are decently clean, and not so friendly but checks you out pretty quickly. The parking tends to be busy on weekends so recommend going weekdays.

The prices and good and its cleaner than other Asian markets in the area. The only issue is the other customers that are rude and dont say excuse me or thank you. They roll right over you as if you dont have a baby in the cart.

I used to rate this place as 5- or 4-stars. But for the past 2 recent months, Ive noticed that the quality of the produces and meat dropped quite low. As some other raters described, my meat (pre-packaged by the store with seasoning or marinade) seemed suspicious in terms of the freshness. I also often notice how they display perishable (need to be refrigerated) items in the room temperature.So, right now, I am more hesitant when buying their super sale items (especially the prepackaged meats)and completely avoid any perishable items that are being sold in the room temperature.

I was pleased to find this place when I was nearby on an extended business trip. Having spent 3 years in Korea, it was neat to see a store like this with such a huge selection plus a great restaurant. I left with belly full of bloggy from the restaurant and several bags full of some of my favorite Korean snacks and drinks.

Clean, very well organized, ease of finding things. Meat and fish is not fresh and over priced. Produces are much fresher and well priced. I go because I can find things I cant find in American grocery.

The problem with Asian markets is that they really do not try to assist ignorant American shoppers. almost all of the items are in a language other than English and as much as I would like to try different things theres never anyone I can ask. there are quite a few people who are very friendly and will go out of their way to accommodate but unfortunately thats more the exception to the rule.

Terrific Asian market. Smaller than Great Wall but still has an excellent selection of high quality produce, tofu, noodles, rice, spices and speciality ingredients. There is also a pretty good sushi restaurant and Korean restaurant inside with indoor seating, or you can take-out.

Fresh food and great variety of things to buy. Convenient, quiet, and no-hassle environment. Very close to the I495 highway on Bradfock Road.

I ordered a bowl of spicy fish soup from the little restaurant/deli. It had no fish in it and only mouth bones with teeth and all in it. From my time in Japan I know this to be an insult and something they feed prisoners. If your white dont done here.

Clean, very good Chinese and Asian food collection, good fresh and frozen fish collection. Anything you need from the Asian kitchen you can find there. Also there is a small sushi and Chinese food restaurant inside.

Great place to shop from Korean or international foods. Watch out for the price scam with 2 identical products are place next together and one was the sale price and other was not. Especially those products are only in Korean. The management should stop this kind of cheating the customers.

This is the place of you are looking for southeast Asian and Korean products. Definitely better price than the nearby Hmarts and still offer just good service, atmosphere and selection. But this place is not as Korean specific.

Great for fresh produce, but you have to be picky. Im a little skeptical of the quality of the meat and generally dont buy that here. The staff isnt friendly, but they arent at H-mart either.

The place is good for buying international groceries including those originally from the asian countries. Most products are cheaper than other bigger grocery stores but not all of them.

Decent oriental supermarket. New location is tremendously better than the old place. Check out the restaurant inside, every meal I had there was great and worth the money. Suoermarkets fruits and vegetables are normally very fresh and prices a littke lower than the supermarkets inn the area.

We had sushi and it was fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. This is our 2nd time there and will certainly return for more. Sushi is pre-made, but we asked about a menu to order sushi and the very nice guy behind the counter said they were working on one. That will be a nice addition even though they had quite a variety of the premade to select from which made it quick and easy. My whole family loves 🍣 now and everyone gave it 2 thumbs up!

I purchased a marinated beef here and on the same day when we opened it to cook, it was spoiled and smelled bad. I also noticed many of their stocks were very close to exp date. It was disappointing to see what once a nice market had turned into.
