Well got a letter in the mail about a car I had bought from a friend and registered in 2020. It was for a recall on an ignition key switch, mind you this is a 2002 Pontiac and I am the third owner. So I called in and they set up the appointment. The staff and mechanics were all courteous and friendly and answered all my questions easily. They are great at there service center with vehicle maintenance. I will and will always recommend S&K Buick GMC to anyone that asks for one was astonished that it was actually honored because of the year and me being the third owner. I drove from over 4 hours away to look at a certified used car at this dealership. They had worked hard to set a price with me before I drove that far. When I arrived the car was in the condition I expected from the great pictures I saw online. The sales and finance teams worked quickly to get my purchase finalized and get me back on the road home. The crew was polite and helpful. Whoever scheduled the appointment, placed it on the wrong day on the calendar. But they still squeezed me in and got the oil changed and the tires rotated within one hour. There was a confortable lounge to wait while my vehicle was serviced. The car wash was not working. So my vehicle didn’t receive a complementary wash. Nor was I given a coupon to come back for a wash at later date..

Just purchased a new GMC truck from S&K. The process couldn’t have gone smoother. When I arrived from out of state the vehicle was already cleaned and waiting for my test drive. No high pressure from these people. The sales manager Jim and his entire team were very professional and the price they quoted over the phone earlier in the week was exactly the price I paid when I arrived. (No last second changes or additions). Their finance manager Janelle was the best I’ve ever worked with. (And I’ve worked with many over the years). She was very quick, thorough and detailed, and though she offered additional warranty packages, there was no typical high pressure to purchase. All I can say is leave your terrible new car purchasing experiences of the past behind and come see the team at S&K. You won’t be sorry.

Service was curt with poor communication. I was on a schedule in the middle of a work day. When the work on the car was done, already well over the time they had estimated, they kept me waiting an additional 30 minutes while my car sat in line to go through their automated car wash.I had told them that I was in a hurry and had a business appointment. They knew this and made me late while I waited for a car wash that I didnt want.Its important to me that service reps would listen to what a customer wants and would be respectful of a customers time constraints.S&K did neither of those things and so I wont be returning
Customer service was horrible. Call me and I can give you all the details. Wait was terrible for a simple oil change. 1.5hrs with appointment. The shop checking person seemed as if I was putting him out. He didn’t want me there. After I had to go into shop to get paperwork into payment. It was on his desk but didn’t care.
I’ve had my oil change performed at various places in town, S & K is my go to! They’re always super friendly and prompt. Not only that, you get fully synthetic oil and tire rotations all for about $50. That’s an unbeatable price. It’s a hidden gem. I love coming here!

I took my vehicle in to be inspected and the quotes they gave me were ridiculously high. I got quotes on the same work from other reputable shops and they were much more reasonable. After talking with other people with past experiences there I was told they always charge way more than what the work is worth. Ill never go back.

Warranty work on 2017 Sierra with the 8 speed auto transmission. Changed the fluid and I noticed the difference immediately...on the drive home! The bulletin is correct in my case. I am disappointed, though, in that I had to go to the dealer to request this work be done. GMC should have notified me to have this work done. Made the appointment, work done as scheduled and promised. And in a polite and friendly manner.

Our Acadia had an issue that was not going to be covered by our warranty, but was clearly a defect in the vehicle. After some investigation and deliberation, GMC covered all cost for the repair. It was heartwarming to experience a company taking action to make the situation right for the customer. We appreciate the kindness and service we receive from S&K Buick-GMC.

Big shout out to Phil and Dave in the service department. I was from out of town and had never been to Springfield. I had a problem with a noisy fan motor for the AC. They jumped right on it even though they were obviously busy and within 10 minutes they found the problem and remedied it. It was a leaf in the duct. Thank you guys so much. Being in the car business myself I know service like this is hard to find.
I took my 70 year-old recently widowed mother to S and K to look at a Buick Enclave. This was my mom’s first time buying a car on her own without my dad. We had an amazing experience with Victoria, the sales associate. She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kind. She’s been at the dealership for 27 years, and she really knows the products inside and out. Her attention to detail was amazing. We were super impressed with the customer service that we got from everyone at the dealership. Took the vehicle in for a simple tire rotation and lof. After The service, I noticed about 30 minutes later that three of my wheels had been scratched. I brought it up to the service manager Brian, whom was just simply very protective of the dealership and swore that the scratches didn’t look new. When you have a clean bare metal scratch on a wheel, I’m not sure how it couldn’t be new with the roads we drive on around here. Needless to say, I won’t be back. Thanks for the experience!

I had one of the best buying experiences I’ve ever had with Vicoria Swalley from S&K Buick GMC. She special ordered me a 2021 GMC Acadia equipped exactly how I wanted it, stayed in touch with me throughout the process and was as excited as I was upon delivery. I was in and out in ten minutes for signing all the papers once the vehicle had come into the dealership. I went in for an oil change, tire rotation and filter replacement at my scheduled time,and I was told it would be an hour and sure enough, a little more than an hour it was completed along with my GMC Denali being washed. Very satisfied.

Everything about your service is fine except at the end. Told my car was done, payed the bill, them waited another 1/2 hour for car to come out. I recommend you finish the wash have the car brought out, then tell the customer it’s done. This has happened to me frequently at S&K. It ended up being an almost two hour start to finish oil change which I had an appointment for. I have complained about this to your company in the past.
After receiving the check for the full purchase the dealer personnel seemed aggravated by my questions.

I made an appointment online for an oil change and to have remote start added, in the service request I also requested a loaner vehicle. Tammy called me and verified everything and even pushed the appointment date back a day so you guys could order the parts needed since you don’t keep them in stock. When I arrived at the dealership there was no loaner “available”. Frustrated but left well enough alone. They said the shuttle had just left to run to the bank. I waited 30 minutes and asked the lady at the front again about the shuttle. She said she would call him, which she did. She said he had just gotten to the bank and would be back soon. I waited another 25 minutes and finally called my own Lyft ride. I can drive around the entire town of Springfield in an hour, likely more than once in the time he was “going to the bank”, completely unacceptable. If it really takes that long for the shuttle to go to the bank maybe management should rethink who they bank with and pick one a little closer. When Tammy originally called to verify my appointment she quoted me $360 to add remote start but I paid $451. This is what you guys do for a living how do you get so much wrong for one appointment?! I told them the price I was quoted and was given kind of an “oh well, this is what it is” answer so I paid it and moved on. I currently own two GMC vehicles a 2020 Acadia and a 2019 Sierra AT4 outside of that 5 of the last 6 vehicles I have owned were GMC. I’ve been to several GMC dealerships over that time and this one is probably at the top for worst service. On top of those issues even though my VIN and all vehicle info was provided since I made the appointment online the wrong part was still ordered. How?! Around 2pm the gentleman in service called me and said he now had a loaner available if I wanted it since they were keeping my vehicle overnight due to the incorrect part, so another trip to have to leave work to come back and pick up the loaner that wasn’t available. All in all the work on my vehicle was complete, inconveniently and overpriced but completed nonetheless. I work in hospitality so I usually let service issues slide because I know how people can be but one inconvenience on top of another on top of another is ludicrous. I would never recommend anyone I know to use this dealership for service. One good thing I would like to say is the gentleman in service that helped me needs a massage membership added to his compensation package. I’m sure his back is killing him from trying to carry this team. He apologized time and time again and did everything he could to help but when so many issues happen for one visit, the first one to your dealership at that, there wasn’t much he could have done to change how I felt.
Had service performed. After finally getting a hold of some body after two days they performed excellently. While standing there phones were ringing and no one answering. Thats my only complaint because that happened to me.

Basically, if youre savvy to the tricks that car dealers use to sell vehicles, and they recognize that, they wont make much of an effort to make a deal with you. They would rather deal with naïve, easily persuaded, people that they can milk the most money out. This is NOT the friendly car dealer that your family will want to deal with for years to come. Buyers beware!

All I needed was a new battery in my 2020 GMC sierra. They were able to take care of that but when I picked it up I found my bed cover pulled up and thrown in the bed and greasy full hand prints on the fender and hood. This is a truck that gets wiped down with microfiber towels and topcoat spray every time I drive it. Needless to say I was a little upset and the service guy I delt with acted like I was crazy he never even looked at it. A sales man was the only one to offer to detail it for me that was nice of him but I think ill clean it myself. I may order parts there but their service team wont ever lay a hand on my truck again.
I talked with Janelle in the business office regarding the transfer of a warranty on a Buick Regal that my wife recently inherited. Janelle talked with the warranty company and had it set up so all I had to do was to give the company a call and answer a few questions and the transfer was made. She was very helpful and pleasant to talk with.

I recently purchased a new Buick Regal TourX from S&K Buck GMC and could not be more satisfied with the experience. The sales person I dealt with, Gayle, was friendly and low pressure through the entire process. He made an honest attempt at reaching a satisfactory price without excessive haggling. I was never pressured into the typical add-ons and everything was explained clearly. I truly got the impression that the staff at S&K was working to make sure I had the best experience possible. Ive yet to have this vehicle serviced, but my experience thus far leads me to believe I will continue to receive the same level of treatment. I fully intend to look at S&K first next time I purchase a car.
