This is a great salon! The manager, Nakia, runs a tight ship and it shows - her team is amazing! Also, the deals are great, the salon is clean, there are coupons on the app AND don’t forget about your JCP Rewards!!

This was my first time going to this salon. I had made an appointment for 1pm with Jeanne. She is the worst possible stylist ever. She gave me the vibes of how she did not want to style my hair because they were too long and that she had some neck/arm problems. She continued to tell me the price can rise and i had no time to argue so i asked her to just blowdry my hair. First she conditions and wash my hair with so hot water, then set me under the dryer with pins that scraped my scalp. And lastly the blowdry she used legit used it on my skin that i screamed with pain. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I never write bad reviews and i was really easy going and just wanted to get out of that chair before she burns my hair or my scalp. If she is not capable of being a stylist then she shouldn’t be working as one and rather be a receptionist. Please I recommend anyone to never go to this salon, highly unprofessional!!!

I am not normally one to post bad reviews, but I had a horrible experience here yesterday. I apologize for the length of this.I received a call for a very important job interview on Monday and needed to find a place to get my hair done ASAP. I had never been to a JCP Salon, but its right across the street and wanting to save money (my first mistake), I figured Id give it it a shot. I called and scheduled for 11am Tuesday.Ive been coloring my hair for 15 years so Im no stranger to the process. I havent had my hair done at all since February because of COVID. I am very low maintenance, but I am picky about my hair! Im really insecure, but my hair is the one thing Ive always liked.When I showed up, I met Angela, who was very nice at first. She was really quiet, but we talked a little bit and she told me shes just focused and not a big talker which was totally fine with me.I told her I needed all of the regrowth lightened and evened out so it would all be one even shade of blonde. This is my first red flag: She started thinking out loud and said something about probably having to bleach it and not being able to just put color over it... I thought that would be pretty obvious since my roots are significantly darker than the rest. She sectioned my hair off, which seemed to take forever, and went back to mix up the bleach. Something in my gut told me to leave and I should have listened to it.Im not confrontational at all and Im obviously not a professional, however Ive had my hair done enough times to know a few things. When she started to slap that bleach on my roots and I could feel the brush right up against my scalp, I immediately started panicking. So I told her I was really nervous and I know she saw it on my face. I asked her if she was experienced with blonde hair and she said yes. I didnt believe her.She didnt use foils at all. It took her over an hour to apply all of the bleach and I know she didnt use enough because there were a ton of patches and sections that didnt get covered (pictured). She also stopped applying immediately where my regrowth met the blonde with no attempt to blend.After processing for about 30 minutes, she told me my hair was being stubborn. So she took me back and only rinsed out the back. Then she tells me that she needs to go back in with bleach because it didnt lift enough in the back. By this point Im literally fighting back tears. I dont know what to do or say because Im supposed to trust this person with my hair and now Im too far into this process to leave. So I let her do a 2nd round of bleach.As shes rinsing that, she starts telling me how Ill probably need to come back because its such a long process and bleach is so hard. Then she tells me that the toner will fix it, because theres nothing toner cant fix. I had to tell her to use a darker toner (she was going to use a level 10) because my roots were now way lighter than the rest and the dark patches were so bad I knew it was going to be a nightmare. At this point, I told her I didnt even care what shade it came out as, I just wanted to make sure it was all even. She said, Dont worry, youre going to like it. I actually laughed.I couldnt even let her finish blow drying it. I had to get out of there. She told me again as she was blow drying it that I was going to have to come back. I didnt say a word. I paid and left and by that point I know that she KNEW she messed up, because she was very short with me and didnt even try to schedule me back in. I couldnt even lay my head on my pillow last night because my scalp burned so bad.To wrap things up, as you can see in the last few pictures, I now have orange roots with patchy grey areas and some serious banding. Im out $160 plus the few hundred more that its going to take an actual professional to do color correction. Not to mention the fact that I now have to go into this job interview with jacked up hair.Im extremely disappointed by the lack of integrity. I left in tears and will never go back to another JCP Salon.

Princess braided my four year old daughters hair at the JCP Salon. It was my daughters first time at a salon and she had a great experience. Princess was able to do exactly what we requested and we were very happy with the results!

We had made an appointment with Jeanne or jeann I forgot her name. We showed up earlier, and she made us wait for the longest time. This other lady came in, and she attend her instead of us, when we had an appointment with her. She would not even look our way, and canceled our appointment. HOW UNPROFESSIONAL! The other lady that ended up cutting; left it all uneven. Overall a terrible experience! Honestly if this place is going to be like this they should not even be in business.

Best skincare specialist in the area. Beri has done a great job and continues to attract more and more of my friends. I should stop telling people who my gf and I go for our facials skincare advice shes too good.

I wish I had the option not to give this place any stars. They are the worst. They are very disorganized and unprofessional. My fiancé scheduled an appointment on more than one occasion and they overbooked. We dont live close, so its a huge inconvenience driving there for nothing. She tells me that she has a hard time actually booking the appointments too, since they dont answer the phone at times. I wont allow her to go back there. She can find better.

I have been coming to Beri for 4 years now. She has never let me down. She is the one person I trust with my skincare. She is a very knowledgeable esthetician and trustworthy. She always does a great job and leaves my skin feeling replenished! I always look forward to my visits to Beri. She has such great energy and is lovely to be around!

Beri the esthetician is like a hidden gem! She is so knowledgeable and has 20+ years of experience. She is so wonderful to be Around, she is more than an esthetician but also a friend. I have been coming to Beri for years now and never stop reccommending her to friends. Hands down the best.
