It was a very slow day, there was only one other car in the shop. Four “techs” if you will, and yet still took almost an hour and a half to get two tires on. I wouldn’t recommend this shop. It’s a little mom and pop shop that quite obviously employs warm bodies and hopes it works out. Find a place with certified mechanics and someone with some common sense and experience

Got me in quickly to check out my flat. Unfortunately, the tire needed to be replaced and they were unable to get the same exact tire so I ended up having to go elsewhere. The other place had a 2 hour wait to get the tire replaced, so I brought the new tire back to Hiller, and they had me back on the road in 20 minutes. Thanks so much!

This place was my saving grace. My muffler and exhaust pipe needed to be replaced. I live in St.louis and being a ways from home made things stressful. They were able to see my car right away and get me on the road in about an hour and a half. Greg was wonderful and very kind. Brett did fast work! We were from out of town and our muffler was hanging on by a thread. We called 3 places and no one was able to help us because we were headed home that day. Hiller listened and helped us. They werent condescending or patronizing. I said the muffler was dangling and they took it right in, checked it, and told us how much it would be. It cost much less than we were expecting and it was fixed quickly. We really appreciated their help and customer service! Thank you!**Also, I mentioned I was a teacher and Greg thanked me for working so hard during the pandemic. I really needed to hear that because we dont always feel appreciated or seen and it has been a really tough year.**

I was Initially referred to Hiller by our mechanic, he indicated it was the cheapest alignment in town! I was happy about the price for certain but the customer service is what really blew me away, they are kind and knowledgeable they made sure I was completely aware of the issues with my car and after fixing the cars issues by my mechanic they offered me an additional free alignment. I just find the best company’s are the ones who provide more service than they are paid and hiller does exactly that! Thank you for the all around service you provide

I was on a road trip passing through Springfield IL when my brake fluid line busted and I couldnt break anymore. I took it to firestone first and they told me they didnt want to do it and they sent me over to Hiller. I called Hiller and Greg Wooding answered and I explained my situation and told him I have to get back on the road because I dont live there. Even though they closed in an hour, he told me to bring it in for them to take a look at it. He told his crew to get cracking at it and they finished replacing my brake fluid line in 45min and had me back on the road. If it wasnt for them, I wouldve been stuck on Springfield. Good people.

My daughter was told it would be $25 to $30 for them to diagnose her a/c blower motor. When she got there she was told it would be $60 to $75 for them to do it. She left and had it done elsewhere.

I called to schedule my oil change & rotation and they were able to squeeze me in after work the next day. They even offered to drive me to work if I dropped off in the morning, but I start before the shop opens.I had an appt pop up for work shortly before I arrived that started 30 mins after my service started. I told them about it; they said they would do the best they could and it would most likely be 30-45 mins. I was AMAZED when they had it done in about 20 mins! Thanks for going above and beyond!

Josh at Hiller is one of the nicest auto repair guys I have ever had the pleasure to interact with. I’m not a good driver by any means, and since moving to Springfield I’ve needed a consistent and quality repair shop to go to. Hiller has been all that and more looking out for me and for my poor car. Great, fast service.

This place is a rip-off quoted me $44 for a PATCH of a tire. Might as well get a new one at that point.

Would not recommend price mark up is almost double the cost of parts .$160 part cost me $300 and then $130 labor.

First experience with Hiller. Car wouldnt start, they repaired a blown fuse for under $100. Another shop might have installed a new Johnson Rod for $545.72, and I wouldnt have known the difference. Thanks for your prompt service, and I shall return!

I had a big metal thing in my tire. Called and they said come right in, fixed it and plugged up the hole in tire from the 3 inch long metal spike that was in there. I did not have to wait long and the waiting area was clean and not stinky. Go there and be happy! Oh yeah, it was affordable.

I own a BMW and not only were the prices fair, but they were willing to fix and check anything wrong with it. This is definitely a better alternative than going to a dealer. I have taken my car here multiple times for issues with my car. Always have been satisfied with the service provided. Would recommend due to great service, knowledge, and customer service from Seth the manager and the mechanics at Hiller Tire and Auto.

Seth is a lifesaver. Bought a used Ford F150 that has just been one issue after another. Started with a broken rear spring. I had purchased new springs, brackets and mounts and decided I didnt want to tackle it myself. Seth got them installed in half a day at a very reasonable price. I will be calling him again for further repairs!

My exhaust pipe was dragging the ground and honestly scared me to even drive it. The people at Hiller eased my worries and even though they couldnt fix the entire problem before they closed, they made it driveable and safe until i can get to a muffler shop. Thank you so much!

While theywere good getting the work done, they wer disingenuous in their quote and final billing on a master cylinder brake job. This Id precisely why we are have mistrust in mechanical rrpairs

Ill be going back for all my car needs while in the area.I got a flat - called around, either got the run around (from Honda of Illinois), or really high prices on tires. Called Hiller, I believe Seth answered the first time I called. He told me that my tire was discontinued - which nobody could ever tell me, why? I dont know. He then offers me another brand that is at a great price, and says they will be in Monday. Drop my car off on Monday, everything is fixed properly, I was even called about a possible part missing on my car BEFORE it was remedied/charged anything. It was an operator error with the TPMS that was remedied, no big deal because they asked before doing anything with it. These guys really know how to run a business and earn a customers respect.5/5 great service.

Bought a set of aftermarket rims from Tire Rack and Good Year M/T Rs 265/70 R17s from Sears. The rims were $170 and the tires $270 a piece. I have a little money wrapped up in them.Sears got the balancing COMPLETELY wrong, as the steering wheel had a very noticeable trimmer in it. Decided to go to Good Year.Long story short - they had some type of malfunction with the tire mounter/balancer that wound up putting several scratches in 1 on my 3 day old rims; the first one they tried to do.I was NOT pleased; however, they took care of their customer and got a new rim from Tire Rack that matched the one they scratched up.I wound up taking the tires somewhere else for balancing; however, they did two things:1. Stood up and determined they couldnt do this combination of rims and tires, as the machine had some type of issue with securely holding onto the after-market rims.2. Took responsibility for scratching my brand new rims and made it right by getting me a new one.I give them 5 stars for being a stand-up place and knowing when to stop doing something because to continue might cause more harm than good. In this day and age of everybody thinking they can do anything (when rarely they can), its nice to see a place know when they run into a limiting factor and they adjust to it; even to the point where they say, we shouldnt continue.

I have becoming here for years. Seth Cooksey (the manager) is excellent and always makes me feel like I am the only customer that matters at that time :-). Picky about who works on my corvette! Took it there for wheel alignment after suspension overhaul and the kid did a good job on it, was pleased how good it tracks on the road.

Wouldnt give me pricing over the phone for work to be done on my car. I have at least $300 worth of work on my sensor replacement alone. Couldve been in their pocket. Ridiculous and shady. Not very competitive.
