Was looking around for our wedding coming up this year. Terry at Jim Herrons is the only person we will every shop with again! Their customer service is outstanding, always polite and truly loves what they do. If you are looking for a better alternative to a tux for a wedding I would recommend them every time! Havent been in Jim Herron since they moved from downtown to The Gables. Went in search of a print bowtie to go with a summer suit and a pair of white suspenders. Marc showed me the perfect bowtie and said they could order the suspenders. Paid for the bowtie, looked around, and found three great casual summer shirts. Then I saw a black suit but not in my size. Marc showed me a black suit in a size I would not have thought to try. It fit beautifully but of course needs tailoring. Ill go back with the correct shirt and shoes when the suspenders arrive. Great service and a pleasant shopping experience amongst an excellent selection of mens clothing.

Ive been a customer of this store for 20 years. I purchase all my Jack Victor sport coats, suits and most of my dress pants from Marc. I have somewhat of a muscular upper body from my weightlifting years. As such, it wasnt always easy to get jackets to fit well. But, Marc is quite knowledgeable as to what cut of jacket will fit different physiques the best. And thanks to his knowledge, the jackets I get always look and fit great!I can be a fairly particular customer and, at times, I have a lot of questions/concerns. In all my years of going there, Marc has always taken the necessary time to ensure I get exactly what Im after, be it the fit, the material, the color, the pattern or whatever. Marcs great. Period.

When other stores said no, Mark at Jim Herron LTD said yes.I was looking for a tan camel hair or medium brown cashmere jacket for a wedding. The other stores I contacted said they had them coming but couldnt tell me a date when theyd be in. Mark was able to order the jacket I was looking for and have it here in less than a week. Looks great, cant wait to wear to the wedding I have coming up for one of my nieces.Nice work Mark... pretty good chance Ill be back.Chris GraueLincoln, IL

I got my first suit here. The staff seems to always be rushing you out of there even though there are never any other customers. I got a basic grey suit that was a little bigger, so i could make alterations if I grew. The suit was tailored, but didnt fit all that well even when I first got it. I brought it back and they brought it out as far as possible without ever telling me thats what they did. It still didnt fit. Youd think any tailor who knows what theyre doing would be able to tell me right away the suit cant be alerted to fit! Then he had the nerve to be short with me when I brought it back. Go to mens wearhouse instead, I got far better suits, service, and tailoring there for cheaper.

Got my teenage son all geared up to go off to college! Josh & Marc took the time to make sure fit was correct on trousers & sport jackets. Church ladies said he looked just like a model when he wore his new outfit on Sunday!

This is a mens fine clothing store. Custom tailoring for the life of garment. Nice selection and great service.

Poor costumer service and tailoring. Will not go back and I do not recommend.Took two jackets to get tailored, both of which were still tailored to the wrong size and shape when I received them two weeks after the original pick-up date set by them. They charged way too much and did not offer to reduce the price, despite the fact that they did not correctly tailor the jackets. My dad and grandpa has been going to Jim Herrons for 50 years, yet they treated me with disrespect and a cold shoulder. Don’t waste your time or money at this store, you’ll be disappointed.

I have purchased virtually all of my suits, sport coats, dress slacks, and ties, and a significant amount of my casual clothes, from Marc Maslauski at Jim Herron for 28 years. Marc has a great sense of style and fashion, fine attention to detail, knows his customers and provides impeccable service.

Great place and people! They have always treated me very well and they have a great selection of men’s clothing.
