We love supporting local and never a disappointment. They have never been closed like a certain chain coffee shop.

Their coffees are super delicious but their smoothies are not the best. It looks like they use syrup made from fruits and sugar instead of real fruit and gives it a weird off acidic taste. I would almost prefer they not even have the option for the smoothies but like I said a great coffee place just not good for smoothies.

The staff was courteous even when serving a very large group of customers. I commend them on their professionalism and patience. Thank you Coffee Expressions staff.

Best coffee shop I’ve been to hands down. The Baristas are so sweet and the coffee is amazing. If you like sweet ice drinks, try the “snickers iced coffee”. It’s amazing 🤩I’d recommend this spot to anyone!!

The first time I tried the (frozen) Turtle, my life changed. I highly recommend trying it, especially in the summer when it is hot outside. I really like how they focus on one order at a time instead of multiple orders. I also enjoy being able to see my coffee being prepared. The employees are always friendly and willing to make your drink however you want. This is a wonderful place to go any time of day. It feels better buying products from locally-owned businesses, like Coffee Expressions, versus popular franchises, like Starbucks. You won’t regret visiting this coffee shop!!

Most of the team there are great, and the coffee is good. They could use two openers they are very busy first thing and sometimes people walk in on there way to work and see the line and walk out. The person working is doing there best just to busy for one. Overall they do a great job.

About the same pricing as Starbucks but better quality and taste in my opinion. Would pick here over Starbucks anyday.

This place has a ton of sugar free options, and they can add protein as well! Favorite coffee place!

Absolutely love this place! If you needed a reason to go, this is it. One of the baristas Daniel really stood out to me, you can tell he enjoys his job and is very good at what he does. Both visits I was treated very nice and walked out with an awesome drink. So if the boss man is reading this, make sure you take care of Daniel and keep him around!

Please read before purchasing anything from this shop! My wife and I have enjoyed coffee drinks here for last couple of years. Compared it with others around USA when we traveled, and Expressions always our fave. However today (April 19, 2021) at approximately 12:25p all that changed. My wife has always wanted to work P/T at a coffee shop and today I asked the young lady who waited on us if they ever hire any Part Time employees. Her answer shocked us. We are very picky about who we hire, we dont just hire anyone. Wow! The full impact of this statement caught both us off guard. My wife was EXTREMELY hurt by this. What company (in the year 2021) still practices DISCRIMINATION in ANY FORM?? I can no longer step foot in this establishment and support a business that practices discrimination. If I could I would give Coffee Expressions ZERO stars.

First time in coffee expressions and the last time !! I don’t live here and my sister and I went to get a great cup of coffee she said they make the best coffee, she accidentally forgot to tell them to make it with oat milk so they refuse to remake another with oat milk unless we paid for it again!! Not only did we get the wrong coffee we ask for a Daniels we got a glass of milk with ice and some coffee and they were so rude and ugly I will never go back in there!!

This was my first stop of total four coffee shops today, so I can directly compare against one other in town and two out of town.I ordered a plain espresso, I believe it was a single shot. Although Ive been used to get a double-shot by standard, the shops around here seem to do just one so they can charge for an extra one.It tasted pretty good, but there are two reasons I am giving 4 stars, not 5. I dont know if they dont have any ceramic cups, but I got my espresso in a 12oz paper cup, which made it seem like there was less than there should have been. Although the paper cup didnt ruin the taste, I just prefer a ceramic cup, especially when its not to go.Will probably be back though, prices were pretty average and comparable and service decent.

I discovered Coffee Expressions by our daughter who loved iced coffee. I was never a coffee drinker but she talked me into taking a drink one day. Ever since I go almost every other day for two caramel extreme. I love walking in and knowing Liv remembers not only me but my order and I almost have Daniel trained lol. I’m so appreciative of these two! They also are always sure to tell me to have a great day! Also I tend to shop local more but if they honor military, you will find me tbere even more. There are a lot of sugar free flavors here. The staff is always very friendly and quick! If you tell them what flavors you like, they make great suggestions on different drinks

Absolutely love this place! My drinks always taste the same every time I order them. The gentleman working yesterday morning was very kind, gave suggestions to try next time, as well as making my girls feel special by putting sprinkles on their frozen hot chocolate!

Wow, I have lived in Springfield for a few years now and have driven by this little coffee shop more times than I can count, but I never actually stopped in until today. Coffee Expressions has a nice atmosphere, friendly employees- Precious was very professional and good at her job!, and a simple-yet satisfying menu. If I find myself walking by this down-to-earth local coffee shop again, I will definitely be stopping by for another White Mocha. You have to try the Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl with it!

Just visiting family for a month. I love to come here every morning! I use to come here all the time back in 2012-14. But even with traveling the country its safe to say this coffee shop is my favorite! Out of the 4 states I lived in I can for sure say I wish I could take this coffee shop with me! Love it!💖

I was worried they would be spread too thin with two locations, but instead the exact opposite happened.It’s small inside, but there’s no shortage of parking. It’s the most convenient coffee shop in Springfield.Try the peppermint mocha.

This is an intimate environment with a lot of social conversations. Its frequented by Wittenberg Students and professors plus Springfield citizens. The coffee is the best in town.

Visited Springfield on 26 Jan 2020 and were looking for coffee north of the river (Buck Creek) near Wittenberg. Saw Coffee Expressions and decided to check them out. Good coffee, great staff, friendly clientele. If this were my neighborhood, they would be my coffee shop.

I love this place!! Everyone is always so friendly and the coffee is amazing. My husband actually got me a tumbler and gift card from.here for Mothers day and I couldnt be happier. The only issue that I have had is I always get an Iced coffe (just a different flavor) and it seems like it depends on who is working on what I pay for my drink with the tumbler (im sure they are just unsure of ehat size to ring up), I also had one of the Baristas tell me I get 30cents off when I use my tumbler!!! Which is awesome as long as all of the baristas know that. it is all very confusing but reguardless I am happy. The quality and expierience is worth it!

Great staff. Line is always out the door. Would probably have more business stay on Saturdays and Sundays if there were 2 people working. Saw 2 people leave when they opened the door and saw 8 people waiting in line. Always always always have at least 2 to 10 people in line every time I go there. Whoever is working is busting there butt!

My wife loves it here, maybe even a little too much. Priced less than Starbucks, but just as good if even better according to her

I was traveling across country, and stopped to let my 10mo baby out to crawl and such. Exactly what I was looking for! It was 5 min before close and they graciously let us stay until they were done cleaning the machines! They also gave us an extra coffee and water for the road. Above and beyond my expectations!

Many good cups of freshly made coffee can be found here. Nice personable attention is given to make a return visit likely. Nice comfortable seating and good place to visit over a cup of coffee.

Everyone that works there on plum street are wonderful people and the service is great
