This has been my go to coffee shop for years now. Quality service and fun coffee shop decor. I enjoy the outside seating either reading and relaxing or chilling with my dog.

Stopped here for some work with my family and it was a great choice! Tons of coffee and smoothie options, excellent drip, and great service. The vibe is lively but not overwhelming. Would recommend!Also, they have excellent vegan brownies and delicious blueberry scones.

The Mudhouse does a fine job adapting to the new abnormal with socially distanced al fresco seating. Flavored latte drinks distinguish this menu from other venues, while purists might be better suited elsewhere.

I do love this place. Sat with an friend outside and enjoyed good conversation with delicious coffee. Great atmosphere and wonderful staff.

Great coffee and food options. Their brownies are SO GOOD, to the point my words can’t describe how good it was. I also got a donut and had an employee pick my donut for me. They (jacked dude wearing an Ally AF shirt) said the donut would be an insane experience for me, they were not wrong. Definitely a favorite spot in Springfield.

During the summer months, we ice most of our drinks. Ya know people need their caffeine fix so if they want a latte theyll get an iced latte instead.I read a lot of medical books and they say coffee actually does something to your body to cool it down.

Mudhouse had an awesome selection of coffee drinks and tea plus tasty treats. My favorite order there is a breve with a gluten free/vegan brownie.

Frozen coffee was very good, with a good selection of options, although the texture wasnt quite right. Too many large ice cubes remained, which at times made it difficult to drink because they would clog the straw. Buddha bowls looked good if I come back sometime after 11.

Was going to buy coffee and chill but was then told my outside food wasnt allowed inside. I mean if thats the rules you decide on I guess thats fine, but seems like a horrible business strategy when there is 2 other coffee shops within 1 min away arent such sticklers. So I just buy coffee and eat my food there now....

Favorite coffee shop in downtown Springfield! Severs are always friendly. The frozen coffee is delicious, but my absolute favorite thing is the vegan brownies! Black bean brownies are the bomb! Would highly recommend for a delicious snack.

What a wonder oasis in a great part of town!Its always hard to tell what youre going to get when you arrive in an independent coffee house in the U.S. Often, I find that shops across the US go for the Vibe and miss the whole point! The coffee!Mudhouse, is absolutely not in that camp! Upon walking into the shop, I was immediately greeted with knowledgeable employees, and fresh roasted coffee that was professionally prepared. This shop is not snobby by any means. Its a great way to enjoy a brew whether you just want caffeine or you want to ask the barista about brew temps and ratios!I tried a double shot and the spiced latte.The Double:The Double shot is one of the hardest things to do well. The reason being that there is no sugar or milk to hide any imperfections in brew temp, grind or technique. The Mudhouse espresso blend was wonderful with a delicate dark chocolate vibe and a ton of brightness at the end. (Keeping in mind I could still taste the Colgate I just used lol)Spiced latte:Incredibly well made drink. The drink was sweet and had a well portioned amount of cinnamon. The coffee was able to peek its head out behind the milk and sugar for a great experience on a summers day.I highly recommend this place as a great stop on your coffee journey!

Award for the worst treatment I’ve ever received in a food service establishment. Simply unbelievable.Walked in close to closing and ordered a single shot, paid and tipped and all was normal. Then when I was handed my coffee, brusquely informed that they were closing in just a few minutes. I shrugged but sat down figuring I’d sit but not dally - I get that people want to go home. (I also know that you can’t shut down any food service place in two minutes and the employees go home.)This wasn’t good enough and we were even more rudely informed that they were closing in one minute. At this point I objected to being treated this way, left my drink on the table and moved toward the door - but not without verbally complaining at the treatment ( no profanity, no threats, just spirited opinion). At this point, as I was still obviously pointed toward the door, I was threatened with a call to the police! Then unnecessarily invited never to come back.

Relaxing environment to sit and have a conversation. Their drinks are pretty tasty, better than Starbucks for the mocha frap.

Not the best coffee Ive had. They forgot to put the syrup in my drink. It was corrected. However, I was simply grossed out when I saw not one but two employees eating in the food prep area and at the register. Staff could use a rundown on health code. Have a seat, take a break and eat. Just not in the area youre making food.

Nice coffee shop. Good vibes. Excellent drinks. I got an Italian cream soda, but I also love their variety of loose leaf tea and their lattes.

My daughter and I have been making at least a bi-monthly trek, from Nixa, to this establishment. The coffeehouse clientele is one of my favorites. My hands-down preference for a cold coffee drink is the Grasshopper. It has the right touch of mint to cool and go with my usual large chocolate chip, or vegetarian cookie.

Great coffee, cool atmosphere, obviously supportive of a lot of good causes. I really do appreciate whenever places have gender neutral bathrooms (I think all bathrooms should be gender neutral but yknow). There was no awkward which-one-should-I-use moment that I go thru a lot. Its really the best place in Springfield to relax and work on your laptop or whatever. Ive been back 15+ times after my first visit and the BLT or turkey sandwich is still my fav of any sandwich ever. Iced mocha is basic but awesome. Pls support this business!

Absolutely love Mudhouse. The staff there is amazingly welcoming. They have a large selection of both coffees and teas. My personal favorite to get there is an ice americano with a cranberry nut muffin. If youre looking for a chill place to grab coffee and just have a good time Id look no further than Mudhouse Coffee.

This place used to take a lot of my extra money whenever I lived downtown — it was just too good! Staff = awesome. Atmosphere = relaxed. Drinks = superb. Food = great. Average prices for above-average quality.

Very good brewed coffee and espresso and baked goods and atmosphere, and friendly employees. If theres something else that matters to you in a coffee shop I dont know what it is. Oh, they have wifi.

I absolutely loved this spot. I was visiting for Utah for a quick trip and so wish that I could have stopped in a few more times!I love to treat myself to a lavender latte when I can find places that have them. Wonderful place. We went and had about 6 drinks on our order. The place was packed and there was a long line. They had our drinks made and to us quickly AND everything tasted AMAZING!!!! When im in the Springfield again it will be worth stopping here again!!

I love the fact that this coffee place is open until 10pm. I cant tell you how many times I have needed or craved a late evening latte with no options other that drive-thurs or gas stations. They have many flavored lattes and I tried the Lavender latte. It was suppose to be in a mug but they put it in a To-go cup but it was good either way.

Great coffee. Been going here since I was in community college. If you are looking for quality tea, however, give this one a pass. A lot of the loose leaf appeared to be old and not used.

Really great coffee, enjoyed the cute funky feel of the shop the only thing that kind of burned my scone so to speak was the front counter barista can calm down . You can guide people easily to what line or spot you need to order at without yelling or using condescending language . Apart from that wonderful coffee shop !

I have not ventured far from the frozen coffee offerings, though I hear they are quite tasty. The go to drinks for us are the funky monkey ( frappuccino with a whole banana blended in) and the tahitian vanilla ( frappuccino with Colombian coffee and a rich vanilla flavoring). If you need a little extra something you should definitely grab one of the bags of chocolate covered espresso beans or cookies. They are delicious, and perfect to munch on while we drive back from Springfield to Kansas city.

Love me some mud puddles! I get the peanut butter puddle... it’s soooo good! The best frappuccino style drink I have ever had! Puddles are the only kind my husband will drink. It’s very smooth and is not to sweet or strong on the coffee side. It’s perfect! I also got a giant chocolate chip cookie today, it was delicious! Such a cute, quirky, cozy cafe!

Delicious coffee, and for those (unlike me) that enjoy drinks with frills, those are yummy as well. Very nice people, fun atmosphere. Cant wait until COVID-19 is over so I can play board games with my friends here again.

I absolutely LOVE their Elvis drink. I appreciated the fact that the workers were all following the safety guidelines for Covid-19. Service was quick and very polite and positive. I love the little easter eggs around the place (SPOONS!).

I get lunch to go several days each week and its always amazing. Half sandwich and soup deal is fantastic and vegan friendly.

Very dissatisfied. My husband and I went there, and after our order, my coffee was made right away, but my husband (we both ordered a small frozen coffee) had to wait for 25 minutes while the people behind us were being served before his drink was even finished and our drinks even handed to us. No explanation or apologies offered. We always give tip considering we love the place and visit from out of state. Never going back. Ridiculous service!

A Springfield staple! I like the Elvis or the Grass Hopper. I’m a big cold drink guy, and the Mudhouse never disappoints.Seating can be hard to come by on a weekend, but the vibe is really chill during the weekdays. Weekends can be overly energetic, but overall this is a great shop.Strawberry Fields salad is my go to food pick here. Tons of great options!

The vibe is really nice here, sometimes a little loud though. Their seating is super limited and really uncomfortable if youre a taller individual. The wifi is so dodging that I almost always have to leave to finish any projects Im working on. Its good if you plan on getting your coffee to go or not staying long.

The BEST coffee I’ve ever had! I’ve never been inside a coffee shop, so I thought while I was in town I’d check one out. I saw Mud House had vegan options for drinks and food so I was sold! I walked in and told the guy taking orders I had no clue what to order and he helped me pick the right drink! The barista was fun to watch, as he was doing tricks with the cups and espresso maker and the drinks came rapid quick! The food took a little while but it was so worth it! My husband and I got the JoJo and it was warm and tasty!! So worth the trip! Thank you for treating us to kind and helping me pick the perfect drink.

Mudhouse warmly welcomed me while I spent early mornings waiting on my husband to get out of a class at MSU. Their GF banana nut muffins are delicious, service is fast, and people are friendly. To me, the coffee tastes a bit burnt, but the coffee isnt why I go.

A local treasure. Been around 20 + years and changed Springfield for the better. I havent gone out much during the pandemic since I dont think many folks are being as careful as what Im comfortable with, but I braved a trip here recently and was really comforted by the safety and care demonstrated by staff and customers.

Always great drinks and snacks. The service here can be spotty depending on who is working, but overall it is a pleasant experience. This will always be my favorite coffee shop in town and anytime I have “outsiders” visiting Springfield I will always take them here for a latte!

Mudhouse coffee is amazing. I recommend the frozen drinks. Grasshopper is a great sweet mint coffee. If caramel is more your think, the frozen turtle is a great choice. I choose mudhouse over any other local coffee shop. Thanks for being so amazing Mudhouse!

I got the boom boom burrito, it was amazing, but more so than the perfect coffee and the incredible food, the service is phenomenal. The staff was superb, each of them took the time to explain the menu and did it with a huge smile on their face which made us feel welcomed. Would definitely recommend!

Mudhouse has been consistently excellent for years. They must have good management. Id go every day if I could. I just dont get downtown very much anymore.

Went to Mudhouse Coffee on a Saturday morning. We ordered two iced drinks and two muffins. Both drinks were given to us at room temperature and tasted absolutely horrible. Muffins were good though.

Great customer service, staff are very polite and upbeat. Decent coffee. Food was good not great and expensive for what you get. I got a 16 oz Mocha Late and a Parmesan basil chicken salad wrap. Spent just under $15.
