I have been a fan of Wawa since I was introduced to it about 15 years ago and I have never stopped going to Wawa nearest me except for now.I have been through thick and thin with Wawa contacting employee relations, receiving heartfelt letters from their upper management and always being retained as a valued customer of this amazing chain. What has happened to this location in Springfield is simply an embarrassment. The past five times I have been to this location I have had a problem with literally everything I have tried to get them to give me.They have completely ruined the gobbler sandwich and gobbler bowl as no matter what time of day you go in they simply say they dont have any of the supplies. It seems to be almost daily that their machine stopped working and theyre not able to honor the gift cards you have already bought. I have some concerns this may actually be illegal. And if that wasnt crazy enough they will randomly shut down their credit card system and go to cash only it seems also on a daily basis. This is simply an embarrassment, I am frankly embarrassed for Wawa and I am embarrassed to have ever recommended Wawa to anyone considering the atrocious conditions here.

I know 3am is kind of a strange hour, but if youre going to leave your doors open 24/7 you should probably have someone keeping an eye on checkout at least once in a while. I waited long enough for my coffee to get cold before abandoning all faith in the staff. In general, Wawa is pretty great, but Im not going back to this one.

When compared to other WAWAS in the area. This store on Springfield Ave ranks very low. Food and beverage prep area slightly competent

I liked this place. But after an episode of asking them a simple question of “ingredients” in their soup- I regret to give this place a 1 star now. Nobody knows what ingredients are in their products. Plenty of ppl have food allergies you know. On top manager Erica tells me to check on the app. Unprofessional to say the least.

Wawa store 900. My life is now complete. I first discovered this mecca of everything convenient when I was in Wayne, PA in 200. During my four decades on earth, I had only known 7-Eleven, Cumberland Farms, and Sunoco--premade sandwiches, overpriced gas and stale Slim Jims. But then I moved directly accross from one. A Wawa. It became my home, my life, my kitchen, my Tastycake headquarters. I loved it so much I went to work for one, making breakfast sandwiches during the morning rush. After moving to Virginia I spent more time at Wawa than I did at home. Sodas, Herrs chips, Tastycake, meatball hoagies, Wawa strawberry lemonade, cheap gas. It was also a place that gave me a sense of late night New York while being stuck in hohum boring Virginia. After moving back to Summit I had to go to Maplewood for the closest Wawa. Often Id get a late nite Uber there and it cost more for the roundtrip ride than I paid for my swag bag full of Tastycakes and soft pretzels. But now, finally, the dream is a reality. I remember seeing the sign. Coming soon Wawa. But no date was set. Then. This morning. It was like God texted me. Wawa has its grand opening today I was so excited. Actually, the text was not from God but from my sister. I jumped out of bed and litetally walked down the hill in my pajamas. The store is about two miles from my home but the walk is easy and the unwavering excitement to go into the store helped me pass the time. I was also able to get the exercise I needed before consuming a 6 inch Italian hoagie. When I saw the big red inflated ballons screaming Store 900 I was moved to tears. This was the 900th Wawa opened. The floors were spotless. Sanitizer pumps were at each entrance. Small sanitizer bottles were placed all over the store. The counters were gleaming. Employees and managers were all cleaning. Sandwich makers were diligently working and preparing meals. Everyone had on their PPD and were practicing social distancing. They were super efficient. Every station at the store was clean and organized--coffee, sandwich making, cashiers, gas agents, and delivery station. All were perfect. The Herrs chips and Tastycake areas were stocked full. Utz chips? Check. The fee free PNC atms had security shields between each machine. Very nice touch. My meatballl hoagie was made perfectly. Lettuce. tomatoes, onions, oregsno, grated parmesan, oil, vinegar and mayo. I know this store will be booming this summer. Its a nice pit stop before heading onto interstate 78 and GSP for all points south, like the shore, and Six Flags. Ice for under $3.00, PNC atms, Tastycake headquarters, Herrs Chips, Wawa ice cream, Wawa orange juice, coffee, candy, lottery and meatball hoagies. This is just perfection in every sense of the word. If there was one store this world needs this would be it. Congratulations Wawa on store #900. You have a fan for life. I love you. Forever and Always, Hillary.

I love me my Wawa, I think that the sun shines right out of their doors, but I did have a bit of an experience today. When things get very busy on a hot summer day like today, the deli is a little bit swamped and mistakes happen. They mislabeled the salads one of which was my number and the other belong to a curbside delivery. When I asked an associate he said they were still making my other salad which to me made no sense since I already had one of them in my hand I dont understand why you would work on different orders at the same time. And then after getting somebodys attention again they tried to rectify the situation and luckily the curbside pickup hadnt showed up just yet otherwise I would have been out of one of my salads and some other poor human would have gotten my very simple and not as tasty salad. Im glad that they rectified the situation I just wish that they had better organization behind the counters

Wawa in Springfield, NJThe toilet wasn’t flushing and was so filthy. I long for the days gone by when small, privately owned businesses played a bigger part in our choices as to where we would spend our money.

Thrilled to finally have a local 24/7 WAWA in Union and best of all, Tesla charging. Now I can have a sandwich & coffee while my car is supercharging and while I’m watching Netflix in my Model 3, at any time of the day/night. Life is good!!!

Cashier tried to charge 2 cups of coffee instead of 1. Happened 2 days in a row. I think it was intentional. Customers beware.

Coffee at this wawa location is extremely watered down. They must be using half the amount of coffee grounds needed to make a good cup of coffee. The coffee resembles brown water and only has a hint of coffee flavor. I have experienced this at other wawas but never on such a consistent basis. I have never once drank a good cup of coffee from this Wawa.

Hard to give 2 stars bc wawa has a soft spot in my heart growing up in south jersey and all, but the service here is lacking. They have given my order to someone else 3 times, sandwiches are inconsistent, and always seems like someone isnt wearing a mask when I am in the store. Do better.Update months later: hoagie makers still lacking in skills .. just looks like they throw it together. Cash register people and gas attendants on point though.

Clean and new building, open 24 hours. Staff is friendly, sandwiches are prepared quickly with touchscreen ordering, and are tasty. The drink selection is a glaring weak spot, however --- no diet Snapple tea, no diet Arizona tea, no diet Gold Peak tea, only tiny Wawa brand diet iced tea is available.
