Seriously unimpressed from the moment I walked in. Three employees standing behind the counter listening to another customers drama with plenty of f bombs but not one of the employees could greet me walking in. Found prices to be high even though their items were nice. I shop thrift stores regularly and theyre overly priced! I browsed throughout to never be acknowledged! Found a top went to checkout was asked if I had a rewards card mentioned no because I was from out of town the old snooty thing behind the counter never said nothing more to me other than my total not even a thank you for stopping in. Not impressed at all. I will call this a three trip in one even though Im in Springfield fairy often its my first, last and only time to shop this store!

The shop is very nice and has great product. What I wasnt happy with though was when I went to go pick up my purse from layaway, they increased the price by $85, because they forgot to charge me tax. I feel like they should of ate the $85 dollars since I had already paid what I thought was the official ending price. In fact this is how that happned, not professional in my opinion, before I walked out the door, after I had paid, they told me that I owed $85 more was a little over the top. Especially since she stated that they had been doing this for over 30 years and knew what they were doing. Well, I guess they really didnt know what they were doing. Very frustrating, especially when you have budgeted what you had been told was the final price. I will not be shopping there again. In fact my friend had 4 items to buy and she put them all back after she heard the way they handled my experience. Not professional people, customer is always right, eat your $85.

When I entered the store, I was greeted with a glance from the woman at the register. The clothing items seemed overpriced for being used. I realize some of the items were good brands, but you don’t expect to see clothing priced so high for being worn. I had read some reviews before going in and expected to find really clean items, which I did, except for the shoes. They were very worn and marked too high for what they were. Most of the clothing seemed very dated as well, which surprised me again from reading owner responses to reviews that they accepted newer styles only. I did find a dress I liked and purchased it for $20. I didn’t get a receipt and the woman at the register hardly said a word to me while I checked out. I can, and do, find items of equal and better quality for lower prices at other places.

I have enjoyed shopping here several times. At their half price sale that is going on now, I purchased a comfortable pair of shoes I can wear to work or going out, and two tops for $7.50 each. I have received compliments on both tops I have worn to the office, and am waiting for all the snow tomelt so I can wear my new shoes. Great customer service!

Great clothes. They are more expensive because they carry higher end lines of clothes that are current. No old or style thrift store clothing here. All items are in excellent condition. Staff is very helpful. The store is very well aid out - easy to find styles and sizes.

Some of the best pieces in my closet have come from The Review Shoppe! My friends are always asking where I got my cute dresses and shoes and I always send them to The Review Shoppe. Im not sure why others think the ladies that work there are rude, I have never had a bad experience and they always remember my name and know what I like. They always have hidden treasures like Louis Vuitton or Hermes which is always a treat to look at. Best resale store by far!

Great store to get high end merchandise at a discount. The staff is very helpful as well and in no way pushy. They are very selective about what they buy though.

Not for plus sizes. A lot of 4 inch heels and flashy things that dont complement a classic look. This is a good place to go if you have the body of a 12 year old basketball player.

I have been there numerous times over the past few years. They have really cute stuff that I could not normally afford at original retail prices, so I love it! They have a lot of Free People, which is one of my favorites and I cannot afford it new. Even if you cant afford some of the higher end merchandise (like Louis Vuitton, Burberry, etc.) it is so fun to look at! The staff is always friendly and helpful, and they seem to know a lot. The owners are very nice and are always willing to answer questions. I dont use their website much, since I am local, but I did sign up for the personal shopper feature so they can notify me when something I want comes in. Since I dont shop much, this is helpful to me. Overall a great store, both on and offline!

Clean, well organized, variety to choose from but I found the styles not for me, and not enough business attire (at least not dressy enough for me). Lots of slacks which I didnt look through.

They had good prices and they were very friendly to me and my boy.

I recently relocated to Springfield. I had heard about the Review Shoppe. Admittedly I buy expensive designer clothing. I took my items into the store to leave for consignment. It is not about the money, it was the reputation they supposedly had for finer items. More than half of my items were rejected as not trendy enough. So ladies, all of my Armani, Akris, St John, Lafayette 148, Neiman Marcus brand, just to name a few, all go to the Plaid Door on Sunshine. They were very nice and thrilled to have my items. I did not even list my handbags!

Did not find the savings I was expecting to find and most items seem outdated . 😔

Called to make an appointment to look at my wifes items. Girl was rude and hatefully said we dont accept coach purses, has to be a louis vitton or expensive one. Went to another nice shop with great customer service and wasnt spoken to like a piece of trash.

As 2nd hand clothing stores go this one is fairly good. Some of the clothes are a bit worn down but i usually find something in good condition that i like.

I have been in The Review Shoppe more than once and decided after my experience today I would write a review. The layout of the store is good, with designers individually identified by hanging signs. I like the fact they organize by color within the size, this helps me focus on my colors. However, the customer service is lacking. Today I entered the store and there was a sign that said No Public Restrooms. Based on my experience, that usually means no one just off the street can come in and use the restroom, only customers. Not the case! I browsed and then needed to use the ladies room. In the past, I have used the restroom at the store with no problem. Today, the gate to the restroom said Employees Only and No Public Restroom. I then approached a sales lady and asked if I could use the restroom as I was a customer. She said No, we dont have public restrooms. If you need a restroom, the closest one is the Wash House. We have problems with our plumbing, its really yicky. Ok, so customers cant use the restroom, so does that mean employees have to go to The Wash House as well? The Wash House is a laundry mat adjacent to the store. I then decided to leave and pay for my item that I had selected from a rack All Items $5. When I went to pay my bill was over $10. I questioned the sales lady, who didnt even greet me when i approached the counter or offer any other type of conversation. She just rung me up and told me my total. When I questioned her about the price she said Oh, we combined racks and just havent changed the sign yet. I paid, as it was still a good deal. She provided me my change and immediately looked down to begin her work again. I stood there for a second thinking she was preparing a receipt for me. She then looked up and said Is there something I can help you with? I said, Yes, do I get a receipt? She said No, we dont give receipts. Odd. . i thought all businesses gave receipts whether you pay cash or credit, I had paid in cash. I know I have received a receipt in teh past when I paid with my card. I then turned to leave and as Im walking out the door she said she could make me a receipt. I said No thank you and left the store. I have had encounters with this lady in the past and she was just as rude and unwelcoming as the last time. This was it for me. I will not be darkening the doors of this store again. If they cant have better customer service and get their bathrooms fixed for PAYING customers, then Im done.
