Had a new one box installed out of state. Things did not go well. Took it to here and they figured out what I needed in under an hour. My truck is running great and I have over a million miles. Without going into all my repairs over a million miles in several states. I can truly say this is the best Detroit diesel facility in the US!!

We have a 2014 40 RV on freightliner diesel pusher chassis. we had been to Florida for xmas and threw a belt coming back, got charged $1000 for an 8 mile tow. the tow company made no attempt to re-seal the 2 axle flanges they had to remove for tow. we had a major leaks on both axle flanges.I did not realize Central Diesel worked on RV chassis (most shops do not), so we took RV over to fix axles, they got us in and fixed in timely manner. They even steam cleaned the oil off the wheels etc, it was a real MESS!Roy was our service writer and does a great job!We feel great knowing we now have a place here in Springfield to get our repairs done!!If you have a diesel pusher RV, now there is place here to get quality repair work done for fair price!!

Friendly people who work hard to get you in and out as fast as possible. Shout out to Kenny who worked on my over sized truck outside in the cold because I was too tall to find in the shop. (Car Hauler).

Central did a great job and did there best to get quick turn around for me.Little snag with approval from my company but got through it.

I will never take my truck to this shop. Wouldnt trust them with my lawn mower. Had my engine rebuilt by them, and not even 2 years later my engine needed to be rebuilt again.

This company worked on my husbands truck,4,500 not including all parts and the truck still isnt fixed! We dont think they know what is wrong with it but they cant get it into the shop again until next week. The truck has been in and out of this shop a lot and they cant fix it, we get the truck back and it always has something else wrong with it. Dont use this company service and mechanics are not good at all!!! They have no idea what is wrong with it and they just keep putting it off! Definitely going to take it somewhere else, where mechanics know what they are doing and the service manager!!!

I am an owner operator with a 2011 Western Star with a DD13 engine with 1.2 million miles.This shop has done excellent work and i trust them.I am on my original injectors and dpf filters cleaned twice.Howdy is a top lead tech and Rick is excellent as a service writer because he watches your bill to be fair and is a former mechanic.James is over all shop foreman and easy to talk with if you have a problem. Central Power always gets me in quick and out in a fast time.

What an amazing shop. They were professional and courteous. I went there as a work-in and was out in 6 hours. Ill definitely be going back.

Coming out of Southern California. I took truck in for a coolant tank replacement. They did good job and I was in and out in about 2hrs. Price was fair. I would recommend them. They are close to I-44

Had a six pack of injectors put in made it 3 miles and broke a rocker arm. Had to be towed back they said it wasnt there fault I paid for the wrecker. I cant remember the service writers name he was a little fellow with a bad attitude do not use central power in Springfield. You would think that central power with all there locations would be a good place to have a Detroit worked thats what I thought. But this isnt the case in Springfield MO. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

I’ve had many of my garbage trucks transmissions fixed and serviced at Central Power and they have always done a great job. No complaints. Ozark Refuse highly recommends Central Power Systems.

I visited this location yesterday and told the I had a vibration and noise coming from my truck. They said I needed an over head. Upon completion I paid my bill and got back on the road. The noise I was hearing got steadily louder. I stopped at a Freightliner in Oklahoma and they took the top end of the engine apart and discovered my camshaft was ruined. When I called the manager of the location they told me they would text me an email so I could send them photos of the bad engine parts. They never sent text, nor did they offer an apology.

On 1/26/2019 I took my truck to these guys, because Id been told they were the very best. Id been loosing prime on my truck when I shut it off, but of course as an owner Operator you want it fixed. Id already replaced the fuel pump and every check valve on truck.That very night I took it there, but left truck running until told to shut it off on their lot. I tried to turn it over again but no luck but felt good it was there.Next day I get a call that my rig was ready and I asked So why was I loosing prime? The technicians reply was We had no issue after our diagnosis, all we did was turn truck over and drive it into our bay, shut it off and re-started it is all we did. I said great Ill be there in morning to get it.When I arrive next morning I was told I simply didnt get all the air from fuel system. I thought wow I was truly happy to have my truck back. Then I got my bill $321.35 for doing nothing as I had been told I wasnt happy but if it runs fine. I took off and head home 55 miles away, once I shut my engine off I could not start it back up.I called them back right away, only to hear them say No we think its your electrical system. No I said it has to be sucking air from somewhere. I took it back after spending another $98.00 for a hoses and a micro pump, just I could get my rig running again prime, so I could return it.I had to refuse loads because the truck was not capable. Now Im being told their waiting on a response back from Detroit. I wonder what that will cost me?I am not happy with them because I feel I was flat out lied too. Surely if the owners knew this is regular practice, theyd not be happy. My truck was not okay to go after they told me it was already fixed without doing anything to it.How can you feel good about getting a bill for absolutely no work done to your rig?Not good.If they dont really fix it after this I will never return to them again.Very unhappy

This place is horrible do not go here!! I went in to get a Qualcomm put in they took 24 hours and totally messed up my truck in Freightliner now trying to fix what central.power messed up DONT GO HERE TERRIBLE SERVICE🤬🤬🤬

Horrible service, I told them to make sure my batteries are running because I have a refrigerator everything in the refrigerator went bad (batteries where dead), they must have drove it over bumps really fast because everything was out of place (fallen, broken) inside of truck was dirty, when I asked who was responsible nobody knew and overcharged me. I would NEVER go there again and if you care about your truck, dont go either.
