Normally I would give 5 stars. Love the store. But yesterday went in asked for some help, its over there. 3 employees sitting around on their phone, never got up, we walked out.

I was recently told about this place and its amazing! The fabric is so reasonable the selection is none like Ive seen before and I ended up going home with a cart full of fabrics

Love love love this store! They have a fantastic selection and low prices, especially compared to Hobby Lobby or Micheals. The staff is much more knowledgeable than at either of those places as well. Even when the store is busy Ive never had to wait long to get my fabric cut. I often need help reaching the bolts of fabric stored higher up and its never hard to find a tall person to help me. Not to mention if youre lucky the store dog will be there and you can give her a pat or two! Id also like to say that I went into the store today (6/16/2020) and noticed they have a mandatory mask policy. Its VERY nice to see a store take this pandemic seriously and take steps to protect their customers and employees. The girl who rang me out mentioned that some customers have been angry at them for the mandatory mask policy and I would just like to say that the policy made me feel 10x safer shopping there and anybody who gives yall grief over it ignore them, they are being selfish and stores have a right to implement these policies. I will continue shopping here for my fabric for the foreseeable future!

OMG, fabric, fabric and more fabric...so much and it could take you 2 days to really see all they have. Main purpose was for interfacing and check it out (first time visit). Inyerfacing is reasonably priced and I scored, finally finding some mask elastic and very reasonably priced as well. They have threads all kinds of notions, trims and did I mention fabric?? ... oh in the beginning, just about any kind imaginable. Staff..very friendly and very helpful, always a plus... Thank you, I will be back.

I absolutely love this place!!! I hadnt been into this new store until recently. My Grandma Doris worked for the owner for years at the old location and when I would come into town to visit she would tell me how great the new store was. Great people and very helpful and friendly!!!

This is one of my favourite places to go!!! They even ask me, where have you been? if it has taken me longer than normal to get back to the store for more fabric. I feel like family when I go. I highly recommend this store for the fabrics and awesome pricing as well.

An excellent store to find fabric. The employees are always busy...but not too busy to stop and answer your questions. Very pleasant, courteous and polite, they go out their way to help you. Very well organized...sometimes its a bit messy because of customers tossing aside bolts of fabric...but usually clean. Good prices. I stop here first before going to an expensive quilt shop whilst looking for a certain fabric...huge variety.

FM Stores is an amazing fabric store. They have such a wide verity of textiles it makes your head spin. It has a great local business vibe with wonderful employees who are happy to help and seem to be legitimately enjoying their job. It is my favorite place to buy fabric and I would highly recommend looking into it if you need fabric for anything.

Found this place online, was hesitant to drive two hours so I called to make sure they would have what I wanted they were extremely friendly! Very generous on cutting fabric, I always feel good when they are generous because other places that measure exact, you get home and if it’s crooked it’s not exact and I feel cheated, I never feel that way with fm! I decided it’s my favorite shop! I can get 1/4 cut and get a few extra inches wiggle room! I love it! Thank you FM for being so kind!

One of my favorite fabric shops. They have a fantastic woven selection. Wish they had more stretch knits and PULS, but you cant beat their prices on fabric and notions. Theres sooooany options for upholstery and more!

Great selection - one of the best Ive found in Springfield. Tight aisles. Big signs that say fabric returns not accepted. Perfect for experienced tailors, quilters, and upholsterers, but a little overwhelming & claustrophobia-inducing for novices.
