We have a large family of 12. We can always count on food for less for awesome deals. Sometimes based on their specials theyll have certain items that we stock up on that may last us three to six months. Other times they have items on special that we dont use all the time but is good to pick up to change up our menu. Their staff is always friendly. And the door lady always tells us where to get good clothes deals for all of our kids. We love food 4 less.

Good choice of products from name brand to generic. Saves our family quite a bit of money. No real specialty type of products though, as is certain spices etc... But we still enjoy the shopping and especially the money saved.

Found some things we needed. Had our groceries lined up on belt at register like we wanted scanned so we could bag all cold stuff together all non food items together etc, cashier just randomly grabbed and scattered things so we had to reshuffle to bag our stuff.

My first visit and I was impressed with their selection. Unfortunately the checker was so rude that I will not be back. She snapped at me to put a heavy item back in my cart, saying that she could scan from there (which she couldn’t) and had to be lifted out again later to scan. Next she sent my other item down the back side of the two lane conveyor belt. She stopped it right after sending it the back way. She then just ignored me and started checking out the next customer so I had to walk around a long counter and up almost behind her to get my package of meat, so that I could bag it myself.

Had a bad experience this time with a Cashier. She was very rude. I usually have no problems here. Staff is always friendly and helpful, but not today. I will not checkout in her line anymore. If she is the only cashier, I will go somewhere else. I will try to update with a name.

Store is kept clean and organized. More than likely not their fault, wow food prices are really skyrocketing!

My wife does all the shopping but she absolutely loves it. They have everything and fair prices.

I used to go to this store alot but the last 2 times I was there, the smell was so bad I held my breath while in there. They have got to do something. I cant bring myself to go back in there. And there are always several birds flying around in the store. Last time I was there one landed on the produce!!

Great sales on Best Choice canned vegetables(.43), tuna in water(.58), Best Choice canned cat food in several varieties. (.50), and 10 lb bags of chicken quarters for ($3.48?. Sack your own groceries. But they do have electric carts for those of us that cant walk that far. Its a big store!

Good prices and selection on meat and produce. Good selection of frozen foods, even varieties you cant get elsewhere. Alcohol selection is small but good, unique items and good prices. Everything else is is up and down. Will pay more for cereal and pantry staples. Aisles are awkward. You bag your own groceries.

I would rate this better but the people who check you out wont wont look you in the eye I dont get it

Good food store at a discounted price

For people who dont mind the way food is displayed. The shelves are marked with prices easy to find. It is such a large store that I have to walk a lot to find some items. The sales are good and that makes it a store where I shop the bargains.

Their prices are not that great. If you want to go in for advertised specials youll do well to stick with the sale items and do the rest of your shopping elsewhere.

Couldnt find all we came into town from 30 miles away and their prices were high but the store looked good and the staff was good too.

They have unbelievable sales on foods, like $ .99 on salad greens packs which are normally $6.00!! They had $8.00 salad platters for $1.00!!

Prices on the meat are not bad theyre actually really good and they have some good sales all weekend good workers that love to do their job to help customers that needs help

Looked several other places for ice melt and came into Food 4 Less on a whim. They had plenty of icemelt and it was less expensive than the other big box store.

Didnt know you have to bag your own. Meat prices are about the same as anywhere else. Huge store and clean. Lots of good deals if you have the time to look for what you are wanting.

There are items I get there that I cant find in other stores, and items that are cheaper here than other stores. Some item are more expensive, I shop around enough to notice. Theres a lady that greets people with a cart, shes always very sweet and cheerful.

Its the 1st time in 15 yrs I had been in a Food4Less & I sure have been missing out! They have the produce of anywhere I have been in Missouri, by far! And while I still dont live close, I will surely be driving the 35-40 miles it is from my house on a regular basis now that I finally got to see how much better of a store Food4Less is compared to the smaller stores in our town. Normally when I do come to Springfield once a month I always shop at a Walmart Super Center, due to the one in our town being a SmallMart, instead of a full size Walmart. And I will still need a few things from a Super Center type store, I will be doing my HUGE shopping at Food4Less from now on! Thank you for great pricing & a friendly clerk as well :)))

I love this place! The butcher is always extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the cuts they carry. And its so super convenient that theyre open 24 hours a day for those of us who work odd hours. I hate going to Walmart and try to avoid it all costs. So I prefer to shop here. Much cheaper!

You can tell when you go somewhere the workers are respected by upper management. Every single worker I encountered today greeted me and actually looked happy to be there. I spent around $59 on groceries. If I had gone elsewhere it possibly would have been twice that amount. I always appreciate the friendly faces and low prices from here.

Clean as a pin totally stocked full of everything you can possibly use in a grocery store plus alot of things you wont have to make that second or third stop for. Best meat, fresh and let ads to choose from..produce is best. Just make certain that you have plenty of time to see it all..but its also perfect for quick stops. Excellent customer service. Thanks

I WAS a regular customer for the last 4 years I have lived in Springfield. After my last experience I will never even SUGGEST this place to an ENEMY. Their rude workers typically keep distance and never bothered me here until recently their elder Cart Returner violated my personal space DURING social distancing, make rude remarks and harassed me for his cart because it was 3 minutes after close. Even though I stated i would bring the cart back to him when I was finished loading my groceries. After a flustering exchange of reasoning with him I finished and went to leave when I slipped and fell flat on my back, to which he and another employee(looked like a manager) just watched.

Their prices were cheaper than Walmart for the same brands, store was clean and did not smell of decaying flesh like some stores. Employees were nice and have a big selection. I will ship here more often less crowded.

You may not find everything you need but what you can is well priced. Meat especially.
