Very large store that seems to carry just about anything you could want. Had a UPS Store inside. The store was well kept with a matainence person continually monitoring the cleanliness of the store. Very impressive. The photos show a modern Coke vending system located at the front of the store.

Store is always clean and usually stocked. Greeters and cashiers are friendly. Last month we were working on replacing some screens on our deck that have been ripped by the cats. I was looking for razor blades to replace the little ones inside this utility knife I needed to cut the screens to size. I couldnt find them. I happened upon Ed Thatcher who was working on the floor that day and he couldnt find them either.Youd think that was the end of it, but I ran into him again and he said he found them and handed me a small box. He didnt stop looking. I was shocked and astonished. Another lady was there who said Ed helped her earlier and noted his name along with me.Ed, thanks for helping me find those blades and saving me a trip to yet another store to look for them! Keep up the exceptional customer service. I sure do appreciate the effort you put in.

I never gave Meijer a second chance right after it opened. I went there and thought it was just too high.I was wrong. I started shopping here about 2 months ago and absolutely love the place. They have everything you could possibly want or need. The only thing that needs improvement is the checkout lanes with the cashiers. Very few of the cashiers are friendly. The one I checked out with today wasnt friendly at all. I could tell he didnt want bothered by us customers. No greeting from him or anything. Ive had a few others in the past not so friendly also.But overall the store is great. Very clean and well stocked.

This was my first ever visit to a Meijer store! I LOVED IT!!!! They have everything you could ever want! Food, clothing, what not and more! Its like going to an upscale Walmart Superstore...only I enjoy this shopping experience much more! Go to Meijer...You wont regret it!

Clean store, fully stocked, cashiers are friendly and helpful. The parking lot isnt complicated so that makes it easy to find parking even on busy days. Coming to this store is almost always a pleasant experience. I cant say that about most stores.

I love this store. I have to drive an hour to shop there. My husband wanted Country Time Black Cherry Lemonade. They only had 1in stock. Meijer called him when they got more in and made my husband a happy man. 😊(of course he special ordered it but they were quick in getting it.)I wish there was a Meijer in Decatur. Their produce section puts everyone elses to shame. The store carries everything you might need.

We do our weekly grocery shopping here (what we cant get at Aldi that is). Good prices and great service. Always clean.

Ive been shopping at Meijer for 30plus years (Im from MI). And now I live near Springfield Illinois. They have 1 Meijer and have been using it for 5yrs with no problem until a six weeks ago. Ordered a pick up order, checked in @0803 and didnt get my order until 45min later. Manager came out and said your order is free. So I stated good. Will that was a LYE! I was basically told oh well too bad for you. Sent a msg for HQ in Michigan to respond to and 6 weeks later still have not heard back!

This department store and grocery is historically based in the more northern part of the U.S. As a result it carries some items catering to regional preferences, such as fishing tackle. The garden center is large and well-stocked with ornamental plants, but dont expect unique or specialty potted plants nor vegetable plants. The grocery items are in normal price ranges and there is a good selection. Auxiliary businesses in the front of the store include a medical center for school physicals and drop-in care.

Meijer has been in Springfield for a very long time and to be honest I didnt like it when it first opened up. That being said, everything I once did not like about it has been removed, changed, restocked since last I was there and now it is by far one of my favorite stores in Springfield. Produce is really expansive and very well taken care of. The prices seem very fair and at times I have found exceptional buys on specials in meats and other perishables.The store is well lite and easy to get around. Carts are plentyful and the selection is very good. My new go to store that has been here a while. Some people reading this may not have been there in a while, I suggest you give it a second look.

Ground beef has been very grisly lately. Most meat is a bit subpar.

Was clean and I found what I needed quickly. They had plenty of full service lanes open for checkout.

My mom (along with her husband and kids) is quarantined for COVID reasons before she goes to see my brother and his pregnant wife out of state. They ordered curbside pickup for this reason. They got home with the groceries and a bag of lettuce was totally rotten. She called your store and KRISTA told her she HAD to come inside physically for them to do anything about it “TO THE CUSTOMER SERVICE COUNTER,” as she rudely specified. When my mom explained the very sensitive quarantine situation, Krista had no empathy and said “I don’t know what to tell you,” and was super rude. You clearly don’t care about your customers or their families. Why was it so hard for someone to come out to the car to switch out lettuce? Or refund her card over the phone? Hy-vee has done that for us before. She had the order number on her phone. She needed the lettuce to make dinner and now she has to order lettuce from another store for curbside pickup because your representative Krista was so rude, she has no desire to go there ever again.

Its a good grocery store. Clean. Decent produce. Prices a little high.

I came to meijers Springfield IL and was wanting new work jeans and I like the changing rooms to try on jeans because of the Covid at our Walmart in Jacksonville IL IL going up and couldnt try any jeans on .

Every now and then, they will have great deals on candy bars (buy 5/get 5). This is usually what brings me in.Only had one problem and that was bugs in a package of mushrooms I had bought a while back.Other than the extra unwanted protein, I find this place a good place to shop.Except for milk. Milk is a little high here.

Just another super Walmart. Prices are a little lower on certain items and they run sale more then Walmart. Nice atmosphere. Will going there again.

Meijer is our go-to grocery store. They always have whatever we need as well as all the newest products. We save with mperks and on fuel. We always refuel after grocery shopping.

Generally shop here. Find most things we need. However recently they are not keeping things stocked well. Not sure why.

For the last 3 weeks everytime I come here there are minimal nor mal check out lanes open with 5-10 people in each line with the self check out having the same lines. I wait in line longer to check out than I spend shopping.

Had to drive 45 minutes just to get moving bands. Even the moving supply stores didnt have em. Thanks meijer

Clean, friendly and well stocked. Most essentials were available during my visit. Most essentials were also available in large quantities not running out anytime soon. Mask was required to enter and begin enforced. Restrooms clean. Checked out right away when I was ready. Many great sales throughout store. Was pleased to see a new fresh selection of products compared to competitors.

Always pleasantly surprised shopping here. Cashiers and customer service are always helpful and polite. I recommend it.

The prices here in their grocery area were amazing and the clearance section was spectacular. This was my first visit to the store but I would definitely return. The cashiers were very helpful when I didnt have any idea how to use their coupons. I definitely recommend this store.

First time there it was great experience

As always, a great selection of fresh produce. Thats all I was after on this trip, but I wasnt disappointed. They even had Jonathan apples, which are getting harder to find. You can weigh and tag bulk produce right in the department, which speeds up the checkout process.

While I love Meijers, every time I go the shelves are bare of what I need. I love that they carry Edys ice cream. I love it and Walmart doesnt carry stuff that Meijers does. You will find everything you need Im sure. My luck is just they are out of what I NEED.The store is very very clean. A lot better selection than Walmart. I suggest you go!!

Best produce selection! Dry goods are kinda pricey, but you pay for the environment. Meat is usually pretty good quality and most of the staff are very friendly and helpful.

I will never shop at Meijer again, I will not shop at a store where employees spread hate. I know tensions are high in our country but what I witnessed last evening while I was shopping between an employee and a customer made me scared and extremely uncomfortable and I definitely feel the employee should have conducted herself more professionally and respectfully. I will not be shopping at this store again and I hope Meijer will initiate more employee training on customer relations.

10x better than walmart. Shop around 10 or 11. In the mornings they are stocking and you cant always find everything, but if you ask sometimes they can find it for you. In the evenings some stuff is picked clean, and you cant get what you want.

I havent been in Meijer for over 15yrs. Its still a very friendly atmosphere.

Long checkout lines no matter what time you shop. Usually only have 3 checkouts open during the day. I know job shortages but I have the Google Review option to express my opinion as well. The self check out is only 20 items, they removed the more than 20 items checkouts.

I use to love this place, but when I went on Saturday, they had removed all the social distancing floor sticks. It is too early to do that. They still had a sign in the front saying you need a mask, but multiple employees where not properly wearing their mask. As mush as I loved shopping at meijer, I will not be shopping there anytime soon.

Did the snan check yourself at the left end of store the lady down at that end and older lady short with gray hair was very rife the check out for everybody kept messing IP and saying approval needed on all of them and she was being rude and acting like it was a chore for her I live in East Peoria and come down there to my daughters to shop there in Springfield at least two times a mounths cause I love the fresh produce and backery and everybody has always been nice tell today she was smartmouth and rude

Went there early in the morning to buy some lunch for later. The store was almost empty, people wise, but nicely lit and the floors were clean. I havent explored the entire store yet; however, just by looking at their fruits and vegetables section, I could tell their pricing is not as competitive as the other grocery stores. This could be due to the fact that the building is much bigger than Aldi or smaller independently owned stores.Their sushi section is amazing though. Very professional staff was helpful and swift at preparing two delicious rolls.

They are either always sold out of a bunch of items, or they have really bad isle stockers, I never make it through a trip without spending ten minutes searching for at least one item.
