We like the good selection of packaged and frozen items in this smaller grocery. The location makes it easy to access for Alexandrians like us, as well as others in Springfield and elsewhere, being just south of the Beltway down Backlick Road.

Excellent grocery store for all Indian spices, snacks, and sweets. Very large where you can take your cart with wheels. And very friendly staff who is always willing to help.

This is the Indian grocery store closest to where we live. Im thankful for its location. Product variety is good, things are not always in stock (this could be a covid impact), organization could be better, there could be more attention to detail re expired products still on the shelves. Produce looks okay although I dont usually pick it up here. The space is somehow more crowded than Id like and its regularly difficult to maintain distance between people.Be sure to stop at Niralla sweets before leaving the strip mall!

Very well stocked with a wide variety of items. Well organized. I found everything I was looking for in about 5 mins. Checkout was slow and tedious though. The people in line ahead of me parked their half-full cart in front of the register and went off repeatedly to get 9-10 more things. They clearly were not ready to check out. While they were off looking for more stuff and there was nothing between me and the cashier but the abandoned shopping cart, I asked if she could ring me up first. The cashier just gestured at the cart and shrugged and went back to looking at her phone. The situation was more those customers fault than the cashiers, but I was a little disappointed with her lackadaisical attitude. Hopefully the next time I go itll be better.

They have pretty good variety of desi stuff but not a lot.

Swing in and check this place out. Woah so many delicious marsala teas and I found an amazing nutty/fruity ice cream Andi love incense they have them sooo cheap!!! Just browse and see what catches your eye everything is very affordable. Dont stress if theres a little line, its old school with just a counter but they are very quick and nice. Produce looks awesome as well. Definitely adding this as a regular stop

Parking vast available. spices all region available. Some peoples here dont wash hands from community saying. i see clean people and great brother helping others after wash hands. community lies grocery store is numba 1.

Although I dont know what half of the goodies here are used for, it is well stocked store and has a friendly staff 😊

Takes a little getting used to. Not the easiest place but more bang for your buck every time. They might not have everything but they will get it and have most things available. Shop here all the time.

Curbside service once you call in advance and order your groceries. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Terrible customer service. I like giving business to my local stores but they must be sitting pretty high and mighty for how rude the employees are. Never shopping here again.

The lady in the counter is so rude. No Hi! No Hello! No Bye! Not a single word to the customers. I have never seen her smiling. She should be fired OR if thats her own business she should go to a customer service class.Also, this store is expensive. El Grande SuperMarket has all the Indian foods and spices that you need. I always go their first and put his store as my last alternative.
