Star Rental is the place to go for construction equipment rentals. Always have the most knowledgeable help and well go out of their way to make sure they have what you need. Highly recommended over United or Pepe rental.

The first time I rented from them, it was for a porta power. I was working a job 2 hours away and when I tried using it, it simply didnt work...at all. I found it had NO hydraulic fluid, so I topped it off. The thing still didnt work. When I took it back, I felt like I was going to have to threaten bodily harm (I didnt) to get my money refunded! Terrible customer service.The next time I was going to rent from them, I needed to rent a man lift to take a tree out of my back yard. Understand Im a logger, so I know a thing or two about taking down trees. Im not an accountant who bought a new electric chainsaw and decided to play lumberjack. I was informed by the manager that the president of the company had made a policy that man lifts cant be used for tree removal. Thats interesting, because there was one sitting in the parking lot of the school down the street the very next day being used to take down several trees!Terrible customer service and, quite frankly, I question their honesty. I wont rent, or attempt to rent, another piece of equipment from them. Even if they had the only one within 200 miles. Ill find a different way to do the job. ...very dissatisfied.

Nothing wrong with the equipment I rented, or the helpfulness of the staff... but,they had loaded the equipment for me onto a trailer and didnt load it right. They centered the load and did not make sure there was any tounge weight. when I tried to go on the highway the trailer went right into a whipping motion and forced me off the road. I was able to move the equipment myself and re secure it properly. when I brought it up to the person I returned it to in the office, they didnt seem to get the concept either.I am still surprised they dont make sure its loaded SAFELY and that multiple people didnt understand what that means. I thought the equipment was going to roll of the trailer it whipped so bad (didnt even make it to 55mph) down right dangerous!!!I cannot recommend anyone renting from this facility

The person I was talking to on the phone was very rude and unhelpful acted like I was wasting her time

These guys are the absolute worst in town. Horrible customer service. Lazy drivers. Horrible communication & they don’t take care of their equipment very well. This leads you to have broken down equipment that you have to pay to repair and takes you longer to get the job done. Go anywhere else in town for your rental needs. You’ve been warned. Worst place in Lane County by far.

Had some big bubba try to physically intimidate me in their parking lot.What the #$&#?!?!Will never spend a dime here.
