Been there three times They do nice conscientious reasonable work but when theyre busy I might have to wait a couple weeks I dont think its any diff elsewhere as many places are getting busier and having trouble getting ppl back to work after COVID

I called to make sure they can service John Deere riders. I was told yes. I called 2 weeks later and was told that parts needed to be ordered from the East coast...um youve had it 2 weeks you should already have the parts + there are Sloan dealers all around the city limits. He could have gotten parts from one of them. His deal is not such a deal when he takes too long and half the people that answer the phone have no idea about John Deeres. Do not recommend. Now Im paying more to just have Sloan pick it up and do the tune up. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

I was one of the first customers to buy a diesel zero turn from Hometown. These guys are fantastic to work with and the Bad Boy mower is an absolute beast of a mower! A lot of places are such that you feel like royalty UNTIL the sale is final and then you’re nobody. Not with Hometown! They are there for you even after the warranty is expired! I highly recommend Hometown Mowers!

We bought a maverick here 6yrs ago has had only 3 small issue they covered im looking to buy another mower from here just not there yet

HOMETOWN MOWERS PLUS...5 Stars is not enough! I was expecting to pay a lot more to have my zero turn mower repaired. It was running hot and shutting down on me after 20-30 minutes of cutting. I was expecting something major. HOMETOWN MOWERS PLUS diagnosed my problem, fixed the issue, changed all three blades, offered pick-up and delivery, and brought it back cleaner than they picked it up for far less than I expected...I am not used to this type of service!

The customer service from Hometown Mowers Plus is outstanding. When we had questions and concerns there were promptly returned phone calls, even a visit to our home to check out our tractor, and even follow-up phone calls to make sure everything was working. The tractor is running great and we are happy! Highly recommended for quality work with customer service to back it!

Bought a Green Mountain Grill Pellet smoker Pizza Oven attachment from these guys and when the first stone arrived broken in shipping, these guys reacted fast. Original kit arrived after hours Friday night, called them and sent email with pics and by 10 AM they were on the phone with Manufacturer and new stone was shipped out ASAP . Now that is good customer service.

I had my garden tractor tuned up and blades sharpened. Price was right and the staff was friendly. Best of all, my mower was ready in 3 days, just as they said it would be. Staff also went over the work with me and gave me some tips on keeping my garden tractor running in tip top condition. Very happy customer!

Takes forever to get your mower back from a simple oil change!

Finally broke the recoil on a fairly new Craftsman tiller that didn’t want to fire/start. Local shop wouldn’t touch it because it wasn’t a Briggs engine. Sears in Springfield couldn’t guarantee they could work on it and recommended Hometown Mowers Plus. I left it to their discretion as to the repair – knowing it could possibly involve a new engine. Was told it would likely be two or more weeks before they could get to it due to the holidays. Nine days later it is back home and fixed for less than $40. Being from out of town, you just never know if you’ll be taken advantage of, but they were super nice and fixed the problem much cheaper than I could imagine. They even washed the tiller, cleaning the dirt off the wheels and tines. I would definitely recommend this shop.

Great place good people great service

Very bad service. They told me 2 weeks. Then after 2 weeks, it will be done the next day. After a month, they didnt look at it. So i picked it up and took it to another place. The owner is a good salesman dont beleive him.If you need service good luck. Also they said i needed spendels and it did not.
