Products are good but the staff knows nothing if you need recommendations on the stuff they carry. The employees were quite rude the first time I came in because they did not inform me they charge extra for a bag, but my friend I was with just gave me a heads up and the staff was super rude saying I should read all their signs and already know that. My friend didnt say it rude at all, she just knew Id rather carry my two bottles than pay for a bag. The sign that said they charge for it was covered by products and quite small so I hadnt even noticed it was there. I have gone back once since then and still got no extra help but I also already knew to tell them not to bag it which saved that issue.
I loved AMBERLEE! She was very helpful.a d patient as she told be about curling irons and curling rods, the best brushes and the perfect brush for my hair. She even gave me several tips and tricks she uses in her own salon. I will be coming back and talking with her again! I Really enjoyed my shopping experience.SIDENOTE: Sallys store does charge .15 cents for a bag to place your items, regardless of the size.
Went looking for 5 items I regularly used to buy at the Sally’s in the town I used to live in. They were out of 3/5 of the items I needed. Shelves looked really bare. Told me I could come back at a later day because they have boxes of stuff in the back but they haven’t unpacked yet. When I bought the two items I did find they wanted to charge me $.15 for a plastic bag to carry them in.
I have been going to this location for 3 years and have only encountered the most friendly and helpful staff! Thank you for such awesome service!
I went in with a couple of specific questions and needa and Audrey or Aubrey was so kind and patient with me. She answered all my questions and was really knowledgeable.Would recommend and will go back.

I went in last week and I was wanting to go from a level 10 to a level 7-8 because I wanted to get close to my natural so I could grow my hair out without it looking two different colors. Well lets just say they said I wouldnt have to fill it my hair and just put the color on and youll be fine. Well my hair turned from a beautiful white blonde to a ugly green gray color and I had work the next day I was very upset. It says free color consultation on the window, I wanted it done right the first time. I went in the day after and told another employee what happened, she seemed like she knew more about color then the other employee. She said just put on a color over it and youll be fine. Again, I put it on and it was just a shade darker with green gray under tones. Ive worked in customer service for a long time now and I know between they care for you or they dont and they dont there. I will never go back again, if you want good results doing your hair dont go there. I wouldnt suggest it going there for anyone.
Y’all the store closes at 8:30. If you pull up at 8:45 of course they’re going to be closed. Use your brains, and look up hours on google. Not all Sallys close at the same time.
TERRIBLE ADVICE the people give terrible advice on bleach it didnt work at all my hair is black and turned it an ugly orange brown and i have tried 2 bleaches and both stayed the same color EACH TIME dont go to Sallys for bleach or hair color go to hot topic for bleach... last time I bought bleach from hot topic it took 45 minutes and died it blonde and did less damage and the color stayed for 3 weeks I highly guarantee hot topic it works way better and has better service and I tried the toner and IT MADE IT DARKET THEN IT WAS IT WAS SUPPOSED TO LIGHTEN THE DANG COLOR NOT MAKE IT DARK dont ever buy hair dyeing stuff there!
I always go there to get my supplies but today I had Orem store called ahead to get braiding hair and as I was pulling up to Sally’s at 845 the two ladies were walking out smiling and avoiding me knowing they close the store earlier then they were supposed and my husband tried to talk to them and was just laughing. Very disappointing
They never keep the store stocked. For two weeks now I’ve been waiting for three items I’ve been told are in the back someone needs to just unload it

I second the bad customer service. I had purchased shampoo and lost the receipt. It states on their website that they will exchange same like item if no receipt is present. I went in and they refused to do so. I then went to the Provo location and didnt have any issues with the exchange.
