So I called this location a day prior to delivering a truckload of product. The man answering the phone told me that they start unloading trucks at 7 AM. So I arrived at about 7:15 because of Houston traffic, but I was happy to see that I was the first one there.Upon arriving, I parked in the street to find out where they wanted me to go for them to unload the trailer. After he told me, I maneuvered the truck and trailer in the very limited space. As I was doing this, another truck with a flatbed trailer pulled in cab first, to which I might add, I had to later move my truck from where they told me to park, just so that he could get out, but I digress. So the this company started unloading the other truck first. I was a little upset about this, because the man answering the phone the prior day had told me first come, first served. So I went back to let them know that excuse me, I was actually here first. This is when I REALLY started getting upset, because they told me they were going to unload the truck thai just cut in front of me first. I will say, the driver of that truck apologized because he didnt know that I was backing in.This is where it gets good...I called to talk to someone at the location and simply vent my frustration. After briefly explaining the situation to the man on the phone, he put ne through to the warehouse manager, his name is Chris.I explain to Chris why Im frustrated, and he tells me that its our company policy to load our trucks first because they have to make deliveries, and thats one of our trucks... so I tell him, they arent loading this truck, they are unloading it. Then with complete and utter sarcasm he says oh, so you know the inner workings of our company?... to which I reply, I dont have to know the inner workings of a company to know the difference between loading and unloading So then he says, a customer might need the stuff were taking off, so we need to get it off of our truck first ... at this point Im almost laughing and I say, so customers dont need the stuff Im delivering? Then he says, all this time on the phone is time I could be out there helping. My response to this was to simply hang up. Obviously he cares nothing about whether drivers have a good experience here. Hindsight, its probably why the company I drive for couldnt get anyone to take this load.So their blatant disrespect for me as a driver is why I will NEVER deliver here again. Its as if they think that drivers are idiots...fyi, I have a B.S. in Psychology, a B.S. in Kinesiology, and an M.B.A. and was on the Deans List for all of these. I taught Advanced Economics and coached basketball for many years, and won several awards including Coach of the Year and Newcomer Educator of the Year. After this I went into real estate and received Rookie of the Year as well Top Earner the following year.My point to informing you of all of this is twofold. First, I KNOW what it takes to be successful, its a lot of hard work, and a lot of treating others with respect! And second, NEVER judge a book by its cover, some of the nicest, hardest working, and intelligent men and women Ive ever met have been in this phase of my life.
This is a very nice store with helpful happy people. Thanks guys
Steer clear of this place, their customer service is bad. Ive spent over $24,000 here in the past few months and I ordered 5 tool kits, about $2,000 worth, that were supposed to be delivered to me by noon on the 3rd. At 1:00 PM Im told to call dispatch. I had to ask 4 times when Id get them before I was finally told it would be Friday the the 4th.I already had a commitment on 3 of the tool sets and they were supposed to be shipped out on the 3rd. Yeah I was hot, who wouldnt be, I take my job seriously. 10 minutes later I get a message that Patrick said to give me my money back and get them somewhere else. Its obviously not Patricks store because the owner never would have handled business that way. Very irresponsible and unprofessional in the treatment of a customer that spent a lot of money there.I dont know about any other of the branches but this one has to be the worst. Management should take some refresher courses on how to treat customers and act like you care about your job and take it seriously. When you dont do what you say and it causes others to miss a deadline, dont be a jerk, just find a way to do what you said youd do
AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!
